GETTING HERE: Located in Fillmore on the 126 freeway heading east towards Magic Mountain. On the…read morecorner of the 126 and C Street, across the street from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. REVIEW: Oh! I love me some Grocery Outlet. :) Due to the spaciousness of this location, I would easily round up to 5 starts. Open, clean, stocked items on shelves, good customer service from staff, I mean come on! What a great addition to the City of Fillmore, too. Congrats to them. On this trip, I found an incredible score of Aulani Nu energy drinks (Mimosa) for 99 cents a can. This is a GREAT DEAL! Go get you some! The fruit looked good and fresh, too. Such great deals and I cannot wait to go back and see deals they have next. This was my first visit but will not be my last. Definitely recommend Grocery Outlet in Fillmore. Let's keep it going!

I understand the poor reviews. This place was a good stop when it opened but now: much narrower…read morerange of products, higher prices, many of them par to the pricy Von's. In fact, even before prices skyrocketed at all grocery stores, many of the offerings at GO were quite expensive, not "outlet" prices. I've learned that when something is really expensive, they don't show the price on the shelf. So I don't bother with those items. In addition to bare or sparse shelves, I have found expired products on shelves and in freezers. I can imagine the tariffs are playing a big part in this, but not all. I stop in about every 4-6 months now, to see if they remain downhill. If I do decide to buy a bag of nuts or seltzers, the line is often quite long, and they don't get an employee to the register until a sizeable line has formed. Same for opening a second register. The line has to get very long before they take that major step. GO has a high tolerance for customers waiting to give their money to GO. In that case, I leave my item behind and leave. The employees are nice, they don't appear to be responsible for the bad retailing at this GO.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe that one star review: the service we received was very…read moredisappointing. From the moment we entered, as Hispanics we felt as though we were being closely watched and followed throughout the store in a way that made us uncomfortable. We had no large bags or items with us--just a wallet--yet we were treated with a level of suspicion that did not seem warranted. At the same time, another customer (take a gander) in the store, who had a large backpack, which looked like it could fit an arsenal was able to shop freely without the same level of attention. The contrast in how we were treated was noticeable and concerning. Prior to visiting, I had already spoken with someone about purchasing a higher-priced item. However, due to the way we were treated during our visit, my husband and I decided not to move forward with the purchase. Instead, we chose to leave and spend our money elsewhere. We ended up going to a nearby business (Ss donuts) where we experienced welcoming and respectful service, which only highlighted the difference. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should feel uncomfortable or singled out while simply trying to shop.

They have stuff like pots/pans, Tupperware containers, car seats, car detailing products, electronics and much more. The products will change so there could be something new each time you visit. Fun fact, when you spend a certain dollar amount, there are products discounted even further you can choose from by the register. And the staff are all super friendly.

As someone always looking for deals, Camarillo discount center hits the spot in bargains…read more This is a small store that has a model where you pay for items based on prices depending on the day of the week. Ten dollars is the price for Fridays, $8 on Saturdays, $5 on Sundays, $4 on Mondays and so on until you get to products that are worth $1 on Thursdays. New items are brought in on Fridays, a variety of items from games to photo frames to vitamins and supplements, steamers, calendars, knick knacks, and more. I've encountered items that I had no idea what it was and also found myself holding an x-rated item after I read the description to figure out what it was. . So yeah, they have loads of items and half the fun is just figuring out what you're looking at. Items behind the display case behind the cashier are more expensive as are the pictures on the wall. No "bin" really has any particular order to it. You'll have to dig through stuff here. You might want to bring gloves, but it's not really dirty so much as finding your way through a treasure trove of items. Some products I found online and compared to the price online doesn't seem like a great deal, but I have found and bought some random objects that were very useful on a day when the price is low. If you're curious, like a good deal, and don't mind burrowing into who knows what in items, then you should check this place out!
