We got ham and swiss croissants they were good. Very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a cool spot to hang out with some friends to enjoy your coffee. The only thing I would recommend is that they get better cups and lids. Reason why is because our iced coffee spilled everywhere and every sip of coffee it would spill out. I had to change my drink to a different cup when I got home. Over all the coffee was really great!

Spacious area and great atmosphere. I ordered the matcha latte both visits but had a chance to try the horchata cold brew and blended vanilla latte. All the drinks were extremely delicious! Service was extremely well and the staff were very kind. I noticed they also offer thrifty ice cream by the scoop. Then on the opposite side of the coffee shop there is a bar in one room and pool table in another! Hope you enjoy just as must as I did.

    Loved the Cold Brew Horchata!

Service is great and family oriented. We live around the corner, it's nice to have a little spot to walk to and not worry about driving. Depends on what weekend you come, they always have entertainment going on. The flat bread pizza is one of our favorites.

Tucked away in the town of piru you'll find this cute coffee shop that also double as a bar on the weekends. I stopped by to grab a hot chai for my drive home. It's very bright and colorful inside, a small menu but they have a variety of different coffee combos to try. I got the chai with almond milk, it was a bit different then what I am used to but the flavors were all there. Service was great, really friendly staff and they get your drink right out to you. **will be back to try out the bar soon!

Super cute spot Great service Affordable prices The coffee is delicious, smooth and robust!! High quality coffee !! The food and pastries are not all that good! Pastries were very stale and dry , not fresh at all :(

Tucked away in a quite, quaint place of Piru where you wouldn't expect to find a place cute place like this. The coffee was great, big flavor not over powering the espresso. The Cariño latte has a rare to find cardamom in it, absolutely loved it. Cubano is a contender for first place with Cariño argumentative with the hubs since cardamom is an acquired taste. Both recommended However, the food receives mixed reviews. While the breakfast burrito is praised for its appearance and portion size, the use of American cheese and cold eggs are noted as drawbacks.. I ended up just taking out the eggs from the burrito leaving behind the tortilla that had the cheese and eating the eggs with the salsa that comes as a side. Wasn't upset, just forgot to ask before ordering. Overall, Corazon de Piru is highly recommended for its excellent coffee, delightful pastries, and inviting ambiance. It's a great spot to relax and unwind, whether for your morning caffeine fix, a sweet treat, or a casual meet-up with friends, or just passing through.

What a wonderful find in piru - historic old building redone as a homey coffee shop - coffees pastries sandwiches ... spacious comfortable vibe. 3 mins off the 126 - take the turnoff and check it out - You'll thank me later.

Stopped by this coffee shop in Piru (the city where I went to elementary school), this area sure has changed drastically in the last couple decades! It was lovely to see the modern coffee restaurant with pictures and murals that celebrate the heritage/local culture of Piru and its neighboring cities. The staff were very friendly and sweet! I tried the Vanilla Bean Blended coffee with oat milk , it was delightfully rich and had amazing flavor. Would definitely return for another cup and to try some of their food items!

the seasonal pumpkin blended drink and horchata cold brew were both so good! the ambiance of the space is also so aesthetic and celebrates Latinx culture in the most beautiful way!

    Beautiful Ofrenda.

Our server, Ana, and the operations manager, Rick, have provided wonderful service and truly made us feel valued and taken care of. The sous chef, Fabian, even came out to check on us and see how our food was. Seriously, 10/10 service. It cannot be overstated. Now, to the food. We got the shrimp and grits, biscuit and jam, and short rib hash. The biscuit and jam are both homemade. The biscuit is HUGE, buttery, and the perfect balance of fluffy and flaky. The jam is a mixed berry: strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. Silky texture and very delicious! The shrimp and grits are some of the best I've ever had. I'm from the south and am usually quite picky on my shrimp and grits. Such a wonderful, rich flavor. I will say the grits are a very creamy texture, as they are made with heavy cream and cheese. So, not your typical grits, BUT they are so freaking delicious. The short rib hash is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It's made with sweet potatoes. So yummy! We added an over easy egg to ours, which elevated it even more. The mimosas are made with freshly squeezed local oranges and only $10. Speaking of fresh ingredients, we saw the cooks and servers go back and forth several times to grab fresh produce from a nearby location. I also saw a little herb garden, and Ana told me they pick fresh oranges from a local grove nearby. The portions are huge, the price is a steal and you are seriously missing out if you have not been! P.S. Huge shout out to the local kitty, Catalina (Cat), who was just the sweetest and (almost) made me a cat person
