Hannah!! Love love love when I can be serviced by Hannah. She is a great artist with great customer service who is very gentle and meticulous. Getting my nails done is a form of therapy and I appreciate the level of care all the ladies here. My pedicures are always done proper, regardless of who does them. If they have you wait they are honest about wait times, I am typically a walk-in but they always take care of me. It's hard to find a good shop, so I am glad I have found and have stayed with this one.

T and Na will always eat Get T for acrylic sets , get Naa for the best pedicure They are the best duo here The vibes they give are amazing so comfortable

SALON IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! T wasn't there for a couple of days so Daniel (new) did my nails. they are so cute ! I just got them done yesterday and I've already gotten so many compliments on them. any only complaint is that he works fast. which can also not be a bad thing. he also told me he has been doing nails for 10 years which is why he is fast.

Success was made finding this place ! Came in as a walk in early to when they had opened and let them know of what I wanted with my inspo pic. I was sat down and immediately the work began. It was just me and the workers there however a nice music played in the back as well as a tv screen with minimal chatter from them. Overall nice environment. I have already been asked where I got my nails done so thanks a ton and highly recommend! 45 min time spent and after tip and tax/fee(3.50) for using card it was $93

This was a nail salon I used to like going to and I loved their services. This was convenient as they had a big parking lot, located right next to the freeway. The last time I was here I received two coats of a sheer white color with Gel X ($60), which is exactly what I wanted and asked for! This place does great with designs, but I don't think I will be back. Every time I made an appt over the phone, I still had to wait another 30-45 minutes for someone when I got to the salon. It's unfortunate, since their services are pretty great.

Daniel is truly the master of French tips! Always sharp, flawless, and picture-perfect. He provides the absolute best, impeccable service fast, detailed, and consistently amazing. Hands down the best nail tech around!"

Update: 08/21/2024 So apparently this nail shop is under new management? Kim (former owner) no longer works here....and the tech who did my nails today did an average job?! He was way too eager to do my nails and they came out alright?! I'm not sure I'm coming back here, they have changed everything and I liked the old way better!! If Kim does get a salon of her own, I will be going because this nail shop has fallen off?! And I didn't like how Daniel was somewhat rude and being sarcastic....very unprofessional and unnecessary!!

Came in yesterday after work and was taken in right away. I should note, it was a Tuesday and 5:30pm therefore, that may be why it wasn't as busy. Right away I noticed the new sign outside (Tipsy Nails) I believe, so I figured that they were under new ownership . However, I've always liked their service and staff so I decided to give them a try. I was surprised to see some familiar faces and met Daniel and V. Daniel did my gel x nails and did exactly what I asked for! Love my new nail set and have already received compliments. V did a great job with my pedicure as well, loved the foot massage! The service was great and I was out of there within an hour. This will still be my go to nail salon!

Under new ownership. I been coming here for years but not anymore. Just got my nails done 3 days ago and they are already chipping. I got a gel manicure. After he applied the white he only applied one coat I had a feeling right there and then they weren't gonna last.

This my favorite set of nails done by T! She is super kind, fast , professional and really was tedious in the best way. I am so happy and can't wait to have more designs done in the future. She had great suggestions and ideas. I recommend her to anyone. She'd the one. The shop is nice, roomy and comfortable. I was greeted kindly by the staff who seemed also very attentive to their clients. I saw them all doing above and beyond to make their customers happy! Well done. This picture isn't the best. Definitely enjoyed my visit here , everything was super clean & all the ladies were so nice I got a gel pedi that came out just perfect ! It's been 3 days now since I got a pedicure here and my toe has been sore and swollen like this since I walked out. I leave on vacation today and I'm hoping this gets better. Very concerned with the service after experiencing this.Ii realized that I was actually cut with something during my pedicure as there is an open cut you can see on this photo. My nails look good but the filing isn't very even ! They finish poweder (dip) nails with a gel clear coat and I personally think that defeats the purpose of getting powder. They were fast but they let me leave with my hands all dry with glue alll over them. Pretty messy. I feel bad leaving this review bc they were nice and they are good priced and your 5th visit they give you 20$ they have pros and cons to their salon read more

I'm very picky with my nails and I always seem to end up at the wrong nail salons. But I found out about this place because my bestfriend comes here and her nails are always PERFECT so I came back in September and my nails came out sooooo prettty. I came back today and they never disappoint! I'm so obsessed you guys should definitely come get your nails done here. My first set lasted me over a month ! I called ahead to see if they were available, and I was able to come in right away Sunday morning at 10:20am for a pedicure. Kayden was my nail artist and he cleaned and pampered my nails just as I needed. The service took 40 minutes with regular polish and I was very pleased with my pedi. The salon was clean and even though it could use a few repairs on wall fixtures and small things, the salon spa chairs were in top shape and so comfy!! See ya'll soon! I'll be back. They're under new management & take their time. I hated other nail salons because they would remove my old acrylics with another nail and it would ruin my natural nail. They file & soak your acrylics off when you're getting a new set! Sandy did this set for me and she was light handed. I didn't feel any burning from filing! Def recommend if you need a new nail spot to try out. read more

Let me start off by saying... thanks to yelp I found this awesome nail shop!!! After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to give them a try. I am probably one of the most challenging client to please, since I am very picky on how I want my nails done. Let me just start off by saying I am 47 years old and I have been getting my nails done since I was 18... in all honesty for the 1st time in my life since I have been getting my nails done in so many different nail shop location, I have finally found the best nail shop where I can say with full confidence that I am completely satisfied. Every single time I have gotten my nails done , I leave so happy on how they come out. I also get a lot of compliments about my nails. The lady who does my nails, her name is Kim! She is so awesome!!!! She does a great job and does my nails exactly how I want it! From the color and the shape. She is so gently the whole process! Not to mention she's also quick!!! But yet takes the time to have conversations with me about life. I absolutely love that about her. She always ask how I'm doing in a very genuine way. She is as real as it gets. Now let me speak about the rest of the nail technicians there who does my pedicure! All of them are Great!!! They all do an awesome job! Not 1 person, but all of them!!! Too many to mention names You can ask for anyone, they will all do an awesome job I haven't tried anyone else with my manicure, but I have seen they all do a great job too while I'm there! So if you decide to try this place out! You will not be disappointed. This nail shop is definitely my go to nail shop! By the way! They all have great customer service as well! Which is a big plus to me, since I am also a business owner and know that it is very important to treat your clients/customers well! Everyone is very friendly!!! My cousin recommended this place for me over Valentine's Day weekend and I ended up stopping by for my birthday weekend. By fair my FAVORITE set of acrylics I've had. Everyone here is amazing!!! I've had really good work done here & the techs I've had are very sweet/nice but it's clear appointments aren't really respected/mean nothing. This passed Saturday I had a 12:00 pm appointment. I sat there over 15 minutes & was barely acknowledged when I stated I had a 12:00 appointment tor a full & pedicure upon entering & being asked what I needed. Initially, when I made my appointment the employee on the phone confirmed for 12 & that my pedicure would be started first. They sat 2 women down before me, who I believe were walk ins, & never addressed the situation. It was very disappointing. After 20 minutes I ended up leaving. I understand shops get busy but it is common courtesy to at least acknowledge a potential paying customer coming in. & what is the point of making an appointment if it isn't going to be honored. This was a very disappointing experience & I guess I'll have to stick to coming first thing Sunday mornings if I go back read more

I've been in LB for six years and have never found a spor for my nails. I've felt rushed, overstimulated and over promised. And then Covid hit and I haven't been all that eager to try again, and almost went back to my place in Garden Grove. But now I don't have to! My nails are so good, literally better than my inspiration image I Sandy. They are stunning. Beautiful, gorgeous. Sandy did SUCH a great job. And Kathy coming through with the most relaxing pedicure. The first woman who started on my nails was an older woman she didn't want me to get what I was getting she wanted me to do something more simple, so she just handed me off to someone else, she was clearly lazy af lol. The girl who ended up doing my nails was a girl named Nini she was sweet, but when I tried to get her to make my nails thinner she acted as if I was asking for too much. I understand my nail beds are bigger but I do my nails at home and I know how to do them without the apex and the cuticle area looking like chiclets, but I guess that's the difference between unlicensed nail techs and professional nail designers. The manager, he was very pleasant but I just wasn't feeling the vibe. The Asian community makes a large profit off of the black community, (liquor stores, nail shops, beauty supply stores, chicken shacks etc.) yet they have no respect for us whatsoever. If we decided to spend our money elsewhere they'd be screwed tremendously. All I'm saying is have some respect, be nice, and run your businesses right, because karma is a bitch. Absolutely one of the worst nail services I have received. I came in as a walk-in requesting a gel polish change on my natural nails, was told the wait would be 20 minutes which ended up being 40 minutes. The guy who did my nails did a lousy job shaping my nails. I had a few nails that weren't shaped straight. When he started painting my nails the gel polish was not the same color as the sample nail color swatch I had chosen. Instead of offering to remove the wrong color coats he added a coat of another gel color and the nail gel polish coats were lumpy and bumpy. Then they had nerve to tell me they charge $1.00 for debit/credit card form of payment. I told them it was illegal to mandate a surcharge to use a card. California Civil Code 1748.1 - No retailer in any sales, service, or lease transaction with a consumer may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit/debit card in lieu of payment by cash, check, or similar means. They insisted on the $1.00 fee and I refused to pay it. They suggested I pay cash which I didn't have on me. I asked where a Chase bank was nearby which they acted dumb to. I walked out the door and an Asian woman followed me outside telling me I couldn't leave. I told her I could and did. I found a Chase bank, went back to the salon, and paid them cash. I do not recommend this salon due to their illegal payment fee practices, a lack of skilled manicurists, disorganization, and lack of professionalism. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! read more

Not only was I overpriced but they had filed down my natural nail when shaping the acrylics so much I bled on my thumb! She said sorry but she the lady kept going so fast that she didn't care that I kept saying ouch! So now all my fingers hurt with whatever I do. Never going back. read more

I recently moved to Long Beach and have been shopping around at nail salons. I tried out Angel lashes a couple months ago and they were amazing but I wanted to keep looking around to see my options. This is definitely the spot to go to in Long Beach. The Technicians are amazing and very sweet. They took care of me today with my nails and I'll definitely continue to go back moving forward. Waxer was nice, but you could tell she didn't want to be there and that the early morning appointment was an inconvenience to her. Constant yawning and saying it's too early to be here. Lacks professionalism. I left with wax, baby powder, and still portions of my leg with hair on it (like literally missed my whole inner thigh and outer thigh). I walked out of the room and told her I still had wax on me and she just apologized and didn't take me back into the room to remove it. Wax all over the trash bins, floors dirty, and baseboards with who knows what all over. To add onto that, when it was time for me to turn over on my stomach, there was still wax on my leg which ripped the paper lining I was laying on & I could see old blood stains on the cloth under. At that moment, I seriously should have walked out and left. I still left a tip but needs serious improvement as I expected more from a service that has 4.8 stars on Yelp. Avoid if you value cleanliness, etiquette, and overall have high expectations. Will be returning back to my previous waxer.

There's a variety of services offered from skincare to what they're known for, hair removal via sugaring. All staff are trained and certified for all services they provide and are the sweetest. The lobby and treatment room seemed clean and welcoming, and the service for checking in and out was also pleasant. The service itself was unfortunately not great... I got a Brazilian and lower half legs. My sugarista was kind and a good conversationalist, but the technique was just not there. I've been getting sugared since 2018 and this was the most painful experience. It's typical for my legs to twitch as a reflex during the backs of my calves and ankles, but I'm pretty adapted to the sensation of a Brazilian. I was sadly near tears during this service. It also took a long time, but that is understandable for sugaristas who aren't the most experienced. Because of how the service was going, I casually asked her how long she's been sugaring, and I think she answered just under 2 years. During our conversation, I mentioned to her that I sugar my own underarms sometimes to save money/time, and I ended up giving HER tips... I hope my advice at least helped her, lol. For the amount of time it took, I at least expected to have minimal hairs left behind. But my entire "horseshoe" area was still full and I had multiple patches of 6-8 hairs on each leg. To be fair, before checking out, the staff did ask me if everything seemed good, but there were so many patches that I would've felt nit-picky pointing them all out. I ended up touching up the areas myself a few days later with homemade sugar wax; it was too many hairs to tweeze away individually. Overall, I don't regret my visit because I had a wedding that weekend and couldn't get an appointment with an independent sugarista on short notice (which is how I usually get sugared). But I wouldn't recommend it as a regular place to go, especially because the prices are about par for independent estheticians who usually have 5+ years of experience. I absolutely understand that newer estheticians have to work somewhere and practice in order to reach that level of expertise, but maybe the business should have reduced prices for services with the less experienced sugaristas like hair salons do for stylists with different levels of experience.

My face was sun damaged with slight hyperpigmentation including a few of what I called pimples the before and after of my face is absolutely something to see. I went in with slight sun damage on my skin and left with soft supple skin an even skin tone flawless blemish and hair free afterwards I'm shiny and have to keep the creams on overnight without washing my face. I washed my face the next day and my skin looks amazing I applied a tiny amount of SPF 30 Sunscreen to my face and skin and start my day. One of my granddaughters asked to have her nails done as a birthday present from her grandfather and I. She chose Angel Nail Salon. Since I have not been to a nail salon since before the pandemic I was immediately impressed with the sanitation practices that I saw in place. This salon is extremely clean and well maintained. The ladies are very kind and professional. I was amazingly impressed by the way they were able to accommodate my granddaughters request for specific details. I chose a traditional set. These talented ladies were able to go from a demure style for me, to what I call "fancy" with no problem for my granddaughter. When it comes to needing "self care" this is a wonderful place to come.
