I have been in many other places and they always do the new set with the gel X but here, when I came back for the second time, Ann suggested me to fill my nails and saved me some money. So happy with the result!!

Discovered this nail salon in Long Beach and decided to get my nails done for Christmas. My nail tech was Ann and she was really patient and nice. I got an ombre dipping powder set that turned out beautifully. The price was very reasonable, I also got a $5 discount for a full set which was great. The overall experience was very pleasant and I would definitely come back!

My first time going and I will definitely be back! The massage was the best part! I walked in with a chipped toe nail, and needed a fill bad, I left with my nails and toes looking fresh as new and my fill ended up looking like a whole new set! Ann changed my shape and it came out great, plus she has gel x which I will be trying soon! Definitely recommend, her work is great, prices are great, and overall hospitality was terrific!! If you're looking for a new nail salon, Lisa's is the way to go !

I highly recommend this place! Great customer service & everyone is soo nice! The work is 10/10! I love it. I always tell my friends about it. Every time I show the inspo picture they nail it! Sometimes I combine 2 inspo pictures & it comes out better than what I imagined. I love getting my pedicures here too, the hot rocks are my favorite! I've attached a few pics of the ones I've gotten, there's too many to upload lol. read more

Ana and Kate were amazing! Mine and my sisters first time coming here and we were greeted with amazing sweet hospitality! We got classic French tip gel pedicures but the service was far more great. They cut and shaped our nails very straight and very clean. The French tip came out soo pretty! And the price was GREAT! This will become our new spot! Super clean and hygienic place as well! read more

I went for my first time and it was empty no one was in there and they wasn't doing nothing . Mind you it's like 3ish . The lady who does my nails is so impatient, heavy handed , and not efficient. One she cut my hand twice , needs to treat people hands nice when doing them . She will never get a dime out of me and I'm not recommending no one to this place I don't even do reviews but when I do it's people like them that makes me write it . Do better as a company I'm sure them 3.5 stars is a lie cause nope and I'm from Long Beach . Lisa nails experience 0/10. Vibe it was none . Quality decent . Discovered this nail salon in Long Beach and decided to get my nails done for Christmas. My nail tech was Ann and she was really patient and nice. Lisa's nails doesn't deserve any stars. I don't know what she'd smoked that morning, but I had went in to get a nail color change for $9 & she tried to charge me $24 stating that I had got a nail fill as well when I'm sitting right there wide awake watching her every move. She's a fake, thief & liar. read more

I did not like how they treated my friend, she was cut twice during her pedicure. There was no sympathy the lady doing her nails just laughed. She kept putting alcohol on the cut when it was clearly burning my friend. The lady I had did a great job. But in the end when it came to asking for a possible discount for my friend becuase the lady cut her twice, was rough with her, and was laughing. We were just given a stamp card and she discounted my friend $2. I just felt that for her experience she had getting cut , hurt, and not leaving happy there should have been more sympathy for the mistake by her employee. read more

Horrible !!! Just went to get polish change and pedicure . She told me $28 Wtf ??? So $8 to paint my nails . And she did a HORRIBLE JOB. The pedicure was just as bad . She didn't do the massage , or put the oil and lotion on my feet afterwards. Kept messing up the polish , cut me . Then when I complain , the sorry ass lady start talking in her fucking language. How r u talking shit and u messed up ???? AND THE SALON IS DIRTY ASF !!! NEVER GOING BACK . So upset I wasted my time and money . read more

Customer service was good . I went. For gel manicure and pedicure and eyebrow and lip wax the wax on 4/22 she did a good job on my wax but on 4/23 my nails started to chip was suppose to be 20% off on gel mani and pedi but was charged full price . I will not be returning paid 72 $ for poor nails and thats including the 3$ charge for using my card read more

I can't say enough about the new owner of this salon. Ann is a true artist! I have been seeing Ann for six years now. My daughter introduced me to her and all I can say is she does beautiful work! She always makes suggestions as to what she feels is in your best interest. Her attention to detail is amazing. And to top it off she is a wonderful and caring person. Since she has taken over this salon I travel 30 miles to see her that's how good she is! Make an appointment, you won't be sorry! read more

I usually don't do this but , this time I was mad I went it was empty when they started doing my manicure and pedicure it started to get full asked the lady for gel on my toe to find out when I was about to leave they weren't gel I got gel X they had no shape they were clumpy. I asked multiple times to file them and will respond with "I'll shape them when I'm done painting them I'm so disappointed this were my birthday nails . read more

I don't know how this place has 5 stars. I went in for a fill and they left my nails sitting in acetone for an hour. The skin on my fingers has been completely burned off and is peeling. They were very understaffed and took other clients that had shown up after me and started to service them instead. Then when she filled my nails she cut the cuticle on my thumb. My nails have been completely destroyed. I'm never going back here again. Wish I could put a zero instead of a one it was that horrible. read more

One day later & this is the results. I went in around 5:15, I should've known when I opened up almost every color I like & it was dry as the desert. Finally I settled on this color because it was like new. There were 2 people inside 1 getting her nails done & 1 getting a pedicure by 2 separate people so the 3rd lady comes over to do my manicure... I Swear to you it took her almost an hr to do a simple Manicure that came out like you see in the pic..the next lady comes over around 6:05 to do my pedicure & by 6:20 she was done & they were rushing me out ...I asked what time they close, she said 7 or 730 but it's Halloween we pass out candy..so you care more about passing out candy than having a returning customer? She messed up my big toe & started speaking in her language when I said I wasn't leaving until she fixed it(she was mad at me for her mistake) tried to fix it by polishing over it but I'm not one of them that will except that. Also this place looks as if hasn't had a deep cleaning since they opened which is another reason I should of just left & then some man that came to pick them up grabbed the file she was using on me & started using it on himself & then put it back for her to use it on me...I made sure she didn't touch me with that file...this place needs a visit from the health department...enter at your own risk....disgusting...that 1 star is for the nice lady who took an hr to do my manicure...her attitude was sweet..the others not so much..smh how they got 3 1/2 stars is beyond me....TERRIBLE read more

Worst nail shop EVER. I was HOSPITALIZED because they are so unsanitary!!!The SUPPOSED manager did my nails with the VERY SAME materials she used on her prior customer and she skipped MULTIPLE steps only to charge me 45$ for a design I NEVER asked for and I left with CRUST on each of my nails! I was hospitalized 4 days later for THREE DAYS because I had caught a nail infection that made me lose the sense of touch in my finger that eventually spread all the way up my arm to the point where I could NOT USE MY ARM. I almost died because I was allergic to most of the medication to handle the infection this SUPPOSED MANAGER GAVE ME! My finger and arm have not been the same SINCE! i am pretty picky when it comes to my nails, as are most females. i was scared to try a new nail place but gave this a shot. they are located in a very small shopping center. they themselves are a small shop about 3-4 stations for nails and 3-4 stations for pedi's. my nails came out really nice and i have very little to complain about so i just wont lol. i'll just post my pic and show you how they turned out! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! My wife used to come here a lot but then Mary started acting dumb and even though my wife was here first the minute someone else would walk in and forget about my wife and focus on someone else like wth ?!?! It's first come first serve and they talk crap about you in thier language it honestly took 2 1/2 hours just to do a freakin manicure‍ this place is trash Mary you honestly need to do your job right read more

I think it was called Moda at one time but noticed the name was different now. I walked in and was surprised with how small the salon was. From the outside, it gives the illusion that it's bigger. I think 4 or 5 massage pedicure chairs and 2 manicure stations. Everyone was getting pedicures. I asked for a fill and was seated right away. My tech started with the usual routine. I felt like she was just trying to get me over and done with. We finally get to the color. I was choosing between red and a pink and told her I wasn't sure which one. And then she just went off. She just decided to give me a pail pink color with a design that I didn't ask for. But you know what...I'm not mad about it!!! Check out the pics of my nails. Reasons why I'm giving this place a 20/10: - Was seated at 12:30pm and was done at 12:58pm. Under 30 minutes?! Unheard of. The reason she was working fast is because she's just that good. - The filing down that she was doing gave my nails a thin and smooth look. I headed over to Instagram to check out her work and was ready to book my June appointments. -quick back story, I have been a "picker" my whole life , my mom thought I bit my nails but I would just pick the side and rip them off (eek). As I got older I would get acrylics to prevent me from picking them. Well a couple of years ago I had the worst acrylic experience of my life and my nail beds were ruined! It took a couple of years to get them back to "normal" (still a picker!) so the beginning of this year I decided I wanted to finally try and get my natural nails to grow out - found my previous girl, who was pretty far from me but well worth it, but with her distance and multiple price increases since January, it was just not in my budget as I love to be able to give a decent tip as well. So I kindly messaged her and told her how much I would miss her and went on my search and booked with Zu as I like to have my appointments ready every 3 weeks. Well Anxiety hit a week after my last appointment and I pulled off all the gel and picked my nails short (crying face). Since I already booked with Zu for summer frenchies I went back to see if I could edit my appointment but didn't find how and she was already booked for almost the whole month of June so I just left it and waited until my appt yesterday 6/9. At my appointment I was greeted kindly and since she was running a bit behind I interrupted her appt (so sorry!) and asked if I could pay with card or tap. In case I had to run to the bank (I know I should have researched this previously) she took Venmo or Zelle which I have so I sat and waited my turn. Not long after she was done and called me in. Welcomed me, offered a snack (I am a snacker but, anxiety, and I declined). Immediately Zu was very kind started getting conversation, had me choose my colors, let me discuss my short nails situation and showed her a different inspo and she said we can do that instead if I want. She put on a show, that I need to continue watching because I can't wait 3 weeks to find out what happens! Lol Anyway Long Story Short (hehe) she nailed the inspo pic on these tiny nails and I absolutely LOVE them! I cannot wait to continue my journey with her to grow out my nails again and I look forward to staying a client a very long time ! Super Bonus, she is only like 5-8 minutes away from me with amazing prices! AND she does pedicures! I no longer have to go to 2 separate salons to get a mani and pedi!! Thank you Zu! Her technique became noticeably messier, and she repeatedly nipped my cuticles, which was both uncomfortable and frustrating. The biggest issue came when I asked for the flower design I originally requested. I understand that detailed flowers can be difficult to draw on nails, and I do not fault her for struggling with it. However, I do take issue with being charged for a design that I ultimately did not receive. I even told her to stop attempting the flower, but she continued trying anyway. Customers should not have to pay for a design that was never completed successfully, regardless of the products used during the attempt. That said, I will give credit where it's due. The salon itself has a very friendly and elegant atmosphere, and the staff members were welcoming and provided good customer service overall. I just wish the actual service had matched the experience and pricing.

I've been coming here for almost a year now and I love it ! I used to go to bright star nail down the street and absolutely hated my nails and their service. Which is how I found Lisa's nails and spa. I called as soon as I left the pervious nail salon, she said I can come in and get them fixed ASAP. Ann and her husband do such an amazing job! They also recently hired another nail tech. Pedicures include hot stones and a massage or every service, which is included in the price. If you tell them you don't like how something came out, they will immediately fix the problem. Every time I come to Lisa, I am pampered and refreshed from the pedicure to a simple nail fix. This is the perfect place for my "me time" and I can't wait until my next appointment.
