I would NEVER walk into this salon again. The condition of my nails leaving are absolutely unacceptable. The lack of upkeep over the years shows. Even if owners changed or whatever the case; everything from the chairs to the polish in the containers was just needing to be replaced. Came in for a gel pedicure. The guy just seemed irritated. Rushed. Rushed. Rushed. I really like getting my cuticles done and cleaned up. Barely touched them. My skin was buffed more than my actual nail. It was a laughable situation. If you are crunched on time and need a quick job done; This might be your jam. This is like the NASCAR 500 for nails. HORRIBLE!!!!! Terrible experience. Literally go ANYWHERE else. Used a dirty cotton ball on my hands!????? A coworker came by and left their dirty cotton ball with. Right orange polish by me and he turned and tried to use it. I pulled my hand away and he tried to pull me back and I had to say that is not mine! And he said oh sorry and that's all and proceeded to just leave it right next to me. The whole place is dirty. First, I got a pedicure. The massage was rubbing some lotion on wayyyy too aggressively. I got the one with the scrub because I'm a runner and I always opt for them to do the scrub for my heels and big toes (high impact areas). He did that for a second and rinsed it off. Immediately. I stupidly chose the more expensive one with it it said it had a calming herbal bath. NONEXISTENT. Tepid water not hot, nothing added to it. He quickly put the nail polish on and did a horrible job. Added the little sandals they have then told me to get up to go somewhere else and walked away. Did not help me pick up any of my things, and didn't take the toe spacers out before putting the sandals on so they clearly slipped down and I would have been more worried if he hadn't done the worst job in the universe. Then the manicure was worse. He just pulled out the gel stuff when I clearly said no gel twelve times at the beginning. I had to say no no no gel. He used the Emory board to file my nails, he asked if I wanted them round and I said yes but then he made them all oddly shaped and horrible looking and he was incredibly rough by using the Emory board over the top of my nail like you do when getting ready for gel nails. I had to tell him again no gel! and the scraping took twice I flinched because he was bearing down on them. Then he pulled out the normal nail polish but I had two broken nails so I had asked for them to look evenly sized. And I had to say hey can you cut them to make them even? And the he did a horrible quick job of it and filed horribly . The. Slapped some lotion on like way to much and asked me to wash it off after 30 seconds. He kept missing fingers and I had to remind him he hadn't done them all, he kept trying to just jump to the other hand. Then he did them so fast and left marks and chips in the nails and when I asked him to fix one of the more visible chips he slopped some more nail polish on and it got on my finger too. Just a horrible job and he never helped me take the pedicure shoes off. Horrible horrible horrible DO NOT GO HERE IT WILL MAKE YOU MORE STRESSED IT IS HORRIBLE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! read more

Considering how nice the other businesses in the building were, it was shocking to see such a dusty, dirty, raggedy salon. And they don't use freshly sanitized tools. But I stayed anyway because I needed a pedicure. 2. The service was ok. The girl who did my pedicure was nice enough, she did an ok job with the pedicure part. 3. I have no words to say about my polish. I went in for a pedicure around noon on Sunday. I got a GEL PEDICURE. The photo attached to my review is after work on Monday. There's only one reason I pay extra for gel, my nails will grow out faster than it will take the polish to chip. In conclusion, you should take a hard pass on this place. There's about 5-10 other nail salons within a mile or 2 from here that do a way better job, and they're way cleaner and won't leave you with a sense of regret for giving them your businesses. read more

My experience was less than ok. The place and my nail technician did not seem clean. The plexiglass shields between the nail technician and the customer were pretty dirty. I saw the nail technician pick up an unwrapped instrument to cut my cuticles so I asked if it was sterile. With that he reached down and took a sealed package which appeared to be sterile of the same instruments and used that to work on my nails. So I guess he was going to use an unstable instrument on my nail? I was concerned because recently I had in the fungal infection right after having a manicure elsewhere. With that I just had him do the minimum: just file and paint my nails. The nail drying equipment attached to the station did not work. It seems like others may have been having a better experience. But you only get one chance to make a good impression. I won't be back and I don't recommend that you take a chance either. read more

I decided to give this a go after not having the best experience a few years ago because I was in the area & thought maybe it would be better with someone else, & I definitely regret it. It took literally two hours for a simple dip manicure, literally everything was wrong and not what I asked, I've truly never been more frustrated with spending my money. To start, now it might seem minuscule but I always get bubble bath which is literally the most popular color, anytime I walk into any salon you can say the color and they immediately know. So she says they don't have it and I say okay any sheer light pink & I show her sheer, she talks with her coworkers & they say it'll look pretty much the same. Ends up being a solid baby pink, no sheer in sight. Frustrating when you ask for something and it's wrong. She chopped my thumb nails off & proceeded to say the nail beds were long, but never have I ever had all my nails sticking significantly off the finger and the thumbs no nail off the finger. Showed her round almond, ended up with thick round bubbles. Asked her to fix multiple times so it ended up being better but still not what I showed her. For 2 hours to have not a color even close, and butchered nails I'd never go back. Was open on Sunday when a lot of places were closed. Wish it was closed! From the moment we walked in the fumes were so overpowering. They didn't care. Nail polish was scattered and a mess to find a color. One person started then another woman took over which was weird. Music was loud and awful. The woman wouldn't cut my cuticles or the sides of my toe because it had some redness because I stubbed it. After polish I had to point out the awful polish job. Then to go pay they didn't say they don't let you put the tip on your card and when I didn't have cash they didn't care. Oh well, no tip? Luckily my boyfriend had cash and gave a tip along with his tip for his pedi which was awful. No one cared about any sort of spa or relaxation experience and very unhappy overall. Really AVOID! I went to a Tiosy in Ft Lauderdale about 6 years ago and LOVED the concept of spa, elegance, sip of wine, glamour, etc... None of that is here except maybe for the wine being drunk by the obviously drunk women sitting next to me who was promptly served AGAIN when she asked for "another". The salon was generally unkept, full view of the open closet with the overloaded washing machine and dryer, messy hand washing station, stuff lying around everywhere. The nail technicians were decked out in various forms of t shirts, belly shirts, ripped jeans, sweat pants. All of them were on their phones (speakers on) and everyone's manicures and pedicures seemed like a rush job. Don't fall for the extended time pedicures that are 2x the price. If I could give a higher rating I would. This Tipsy location was my first one I've been to and I'm very pleased. The receptionist greeted me as soon as I walk in sweet bubbly personality. I did a nexgen false set. I have SUPER thin nails. I leave my sets 2-3 weeks, I took them off yesterday no problem little damage to my nails love that. Usually would take me hours from other businesses. Prices for everything here is good. Also for convenience it's in a very high traffic area in boynton which is great for business when I was there it was busy I had an appointment still was immediately taken care of! Unlike other nail salons I've been to. Was messy maybe need some help and one employee was eating (which is okay) I feel like a lot of customers think it's not but some people can't work without snacking or water let's make this normal. So instead of looking at them mind your business ladies!! Im getting the vibe that no one wants to work anymore because of covid everything is back opened up everyone is still adjusting to this (covid-19) panorama I can understand they work hard here overall can't complain too much. Not to mention that they will push THE DIP on you, telling you that it is so much healthier , looks better and lasts longer. Let me tell you, none of those are true!!!! THE DIP is a very unsanitary process of nail enhancement, it is a glue resin polish that is painted onto the nail and then dipped into THE SAME powder that many other fingers have been in, how is this "healthier" ??? If you must go there, I would recommend getting acrylics with Annie or Selena, they are both very sweet and professional. Went there for a regular manicure. The next day it was already chipping. I contacted the salon the day after and was told there was nothing they could do per their policy. After leaving my review I was immideatley contacted by the owner, Vincent. He invited me back in to fix my nails and apologized for my experience. I'm very picky and don't like anybody coloring my hair but I came across SABRINA ARAGON who's the hairstyle genius. She colored my hair AND conditioned it. I'm so happy with my results! I've given this nail salon approximately 10 chances, and not one single time have I been satisfied. And trust me, I'm pretty easy to please. Before you wonder I keep returning to this place...it's because I live super close to it. However, This is the last time I visit this nail salon. I say that as I'm getting a pedicure. Every pedicure I have received here left me with nail polish all over my skin (the sides and past the nail ). Looks like a child did my nails. I've asked for different nail techs each time, however, it's seems most of them work carelessly. The massages are subpar. It's not worth getting the top tier pedicures they offer that I would usually get elsewhere. Here, I get the most basic pedicure offered because it's just not worth it. Lastly, they BARELY touch your feet with the pumice scrub. I have to go home and do it myself. They are just lazy. My gel manicures don't last past a week either . The only good thing about this place is that they offer wine and champagne. Other than that, this place is just not worth it. It has three stars for a reason. The quality of service is awful. Absolutely the WORST Salon I've been to. I've been loyal to liquid gel under nail polish for months now. It makes my color last and keeps my nails strong. While visiting Boynton from north FL, I spent the $30 to have my liquid gel filled and within LESS THAN 24-HOURS the gel began chipping. Once my nails looked like the photos by day 4, I tried to give the business an opportunity to make it right but calling them and explaining that everything broke and I wasn't doing anything strenuous (nails broke while sleeping and folding a tee shirt!!) My run around with them was absolutely insane. Day 1 that I made the report with them, a nice girl apologized and said they will make it right by taking care of my next liquid gel fill when I'm back in town. I asked for an email confirming their offer which never came. The following morning (today), I received a call from the nail tech using the complete excuse that it's because they only filled the bottom area, they are not responsible for it breaking and they can only apply the $30 I spent as credit if I drive 3 hours South to have them fixed. WHAT?!! First of all, I saw the gel be used on my ENTIRE nail, as normal. Second, I'm not driving 3 hours South to fix this mess! Attempting to move on, I asked for a simple $30 credit on whatever my next service is. If they can't do gel, I'll get a pedicure. No problem, right? Wrong!! The nail tech was arguing with me directly and via the receptionist saying if I choose something else, I will have to pay 50% of that service. WHAT?!!! The first service was trash!! I attempted to give them a chance to make it right and instead I get no email confirmation and 2 calls the next day from them to argue with me?!! What is this place?!! People, do yourself a huge favor and find somewhere else. Apparently there is another Tipsy Salon in town with completely different owners. I mistakenly called them first to report what happened and they were a lot more customer service driven and helpful until they realized I had gone to the salon they sold to new ownership..
