Margarita taste like sour mix and ice. Didn't stay long enough to try the food. Only option with the margarita was to add a floater of grand marnier or cointreau for $2.00. Not sure why they have all the other tequilas in stock. Hostess brought 4 people to a table that was poorly wiped down. She took a dry paper towel from the table and wiped most of it off. The patrons finished cleaning their table. Condiments are left in racks on the tables. Mine had half of the tops on them and half were just kind of sitting on them. I order triple jalapeño, and when we get our food...THE JALAPENO'S ARE VINEGAR, CAN BASED!!!!! Nothing fresh about them. Wtf, advertise "fresh" means get a fresh jalapeño and grill that damn thing. Absolutely pissed...WAY too expensive to get canned egetables and the queso was pretty bad too. The tacos we ordered were bland and not the quality we got at previous visits. This food is by far amazing! Very flavorful without a lot of heat. All made from scratch and you can tell! We devoured everything. We had tipsy trio of chips, guacamole, queso and tipsy salsa. Cowboy Taco and chicken/shrimp fajitas. Excellent service! Staff wore masks and cleaned in between. Spaced out nicely. I'd give it 10 stars if i could! Oh btw, get the street corn off the cob. Awful! Horrible food, horrible customer service. I picked up a carry out on my home from work and got home to eat. My three tacos were poorly put together and I realized able half way through the chicken was still cold and raw. I called the restaurant prior to closing time and it rang for a while then the line hung up. This happened a few more times until finally a boy picked up and just said "hello" as if he were answering his own phone. I said hello back and he must have realized he was at work and laughed when he said "oh yeah, Tipsy Taco." I asked for a manager and he then said "if I can find one." I waited on hold for a bit until a girl (I believe her name was Bailey) came to the phone and I explained the situation and that I wanted a refund. She told me multiple times that they were short staffed and that the manager was out sick so she wasn't sure how or when I would get my money back. I asked when she would be calling me back to let me know how it would be resolved and she couldn't answer that either. I waited a few days and went to the store but they had a sign that they were closed between 10/9-10/11. So I am still without any response and no one is picking up the phone, hopefully they closed the place down because they can't seem to make a taco or manage any real customer service. read more

This place had a table of 11 to serve. Everyone ordered a few rounds of drinks and food and consistently had to remind the waitress to bring us our drinks and food. Some of us never got food after 2 and a half hours, we were charged full price for happy hour drinks, they then held up the last of us who were getting their checks fixed and falsely claimed our bills weren't paid and threatened to call the cops and charge us even more. They overcharged everyone for drinks, failed to bring food, and then held us for hostage over fake charges. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to be fired or this place needs to go out of business. Unacceptable behavior. read more

Chain restaurant that doesn't disappoint Observations: Ample parking, clean and organized appearance, casual family friendly, great for watching sports on their multiple TVs, well stocked bar with many drink specials and specialty cocktails, large menu to choose from, many a la carte items, friendly service, excellent food quality I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants but I'm glad I tried this one. First time here, we tried the guacamole appetizer which was fresh tasting and good portion with thin crisp chips. I selected the tamales as my entree and was not disappointed as they were delicious and not dry. They were served with a corn slaw on the side that was a perfect accompaniment. The red sangria was also very good. My partner had the bang bang shrimp tacos that were equally delicious (enough so that he had to try and duplicate them at home the next week). The second time we went I opted to try the pork street tacos which again were delicious. If you plan on eating more than 3-4 tacos in one sitting, it can get pricy!! ($3-$5 each) depending on which ones you order and chips/salsa are not free. We will certainly be back to try more items on the menu. If you're looking for good eats and food quality, then you'll find it's worth checking this place out. read more

After waiting fo about 15 minutes for someone to take my order, I finally grabbed a woman who I believe was the manager walking by and asked for my waitress so we could place our drink and food order. She said ok and walked away. No apology for us waiting so long, did not ask if she could take our drink order. Nothing! So happy Tipsy Taco landed in Clemson. I have been driving 40 minutes to the original in Greenville and now we have our own in Clemson...Yay!!! The chips and salsa were the only good food we had. The beef taco is just that, browned meat without seasoning. The Baja shrimp taco has smaller than cocktail shrimp. the chicken coop taco is suppose to have fried chicken on it but it had what appeared to be a breaded and baked previously frozen store brand chicken finger. Tipsy Taco was our go to place when here working the Oconee outage. The times that we went last year everything was perfect. The few times that we've been this year were alright. It wasn't the food, it was the servers. On two different occasions with two different servers, it took them forever to serve us. Idk maybe they were just having an eventful night. Me and my friend decided to take a 2nd chance on this place. Boy, did we regret that decision. The previous time we went we ordered overpriced $12 Nachos. The chips under the cheese and toppings were completely soggy; should have been served with a spoon. We also ordered overpriced $12 quesadillas that may have well be cooked by CookOut. Mediocre. This time around I ordered chicken enchiladas. I was told it would be topped with cheese. There was a sprig of cheese, seasonless chicken inside, and an almost cruel amount of tasteless horrible green salsa that smothered the entire container. Tipsy taco may look like a very friendly inviting environment from the outside but from the inside it is nothing to be reckoned with it. It took us 10 minutes to be seated and it wasn't even busy they were just utterly confused. When we asked to sit outside they sat us at an indoor table. when we finally reached our destination to the outdoors it's took us 10 minutes to receive our drinks. I told the waitress I wanted no beans or rice in my burrito and when my burrito came out it was just that. She had to send back my burrito and get a new one and it was dry and tasteless. I asked for some queso and five minutes later she came back in and asked if I wanted chips with it and when I said no it took for another five minutes to give me the queso, and my boritto was just sitting there getting cold and it just sat. Then my mom ordered steak fajitas and ran out of tortillas and it took her 10 minutes to bring out the tortillas then our dessert came out but she did not bring us any new silverware and she had to go in and get us more utensils which are plastic which we don't understand because it felt like we were camping out my mom said the fajita meat was a little tough and it wasn't cut in strips for the tortilla so she had to cut them into strips with a plastic knife and again she said I feel like I'm on a camp out trip. Three of us visiting the college from out of town had an excellent meal here, were seated quickly, and our server was friendly, helpful, attentive and prompt. Two of us had the chorizo quesadilla, one of us had three tacos - bang bang shrimp, chorizo, and luck o' the Irish (corned beef). We also shared the bean dip queso with chips as an appetizer. I've been here multiple times, and each time I've tried something different. I haven't been let down yet. The food is great, and the drinks are as well. I also have Celiac Disease, so I must stick with a strictly gluten free diet. This location is very accommodating to those with food allergies, and I've felt great after each visit. Any reviews being negative have likely never worked in the food industry, and specifically haven't worked at a newly opened restaurant where everyone is learning and rushes can be stressful on both the servers and the kitchen staff as a result. First time visit to Tipsy Taco, franchise of Main restaurant in Greenville. Surprised to find the inside larger than what appears from the parking lot. Nice bar with IPAs, margaritas and other mixed drinks. Inside has many large HD TVs with all kinds of sports channels. And one very large screen for Clemson games. We selected Chicken Quesadilla, Guacamole, Chips, Mahi Mahi taco and Chicken taco for lunch. All was delicious and ingredients fresh. Would prefer Whole Wheat or Multigrain for the taco shells but settled for Corn. We'll definitely come back again! I went to Tipsy Taco in Clemson last night, in my experience, the service was fast and attentive. The food was pretty good. I ordered the guacamole to start, and it came out quickly and tasted fresh and zesty. I ordered the Seoul City, Bang Bang Shrimp, Street Taco, Chorizo, and Kahuna Tuna Tacos. The Seoul City taco was probably my favorite, shaved steak with delicious Korean-inspired BBQ sauce, with radish and asian cucumbers. 10/10 would definitely recommend. The Bang Bang Shrimp and Chorizo tacos were also delicious. Great flavors and textures in those two. The Kahuna Tuna was pretty good, the spicy sauce was great with the smokiness of the tuna. I wish the tuna itself had a little more flavor, but it was good overall. Finally the Street Taco with beer-braised pork, onion, lime and cilantro was NOT very good. The pork had NO flavor and was absolutely drenched with grease. When I picked up the taco there was a puddle of grease underneath it as well and inside, absolutely disgusting and would not recommend at all.
