Irvin and Linda are incredible innkeepers who genuinely care about every guest's experience. We stayed in the "Patriot" room, and it was a beautiful room with Americana decor. The room was so comfortable, from the temperature to the bed. The home cooked breakfast in the morning was a real treat. We are in the kitchen and visited with Irvin and Linda, and we truly felt like we were home. I cannot rave enough about the Fairview Inn! This was our first bed and breakfast experience, and it has changed our minds about automatically booking a hotel. Highly recommend!

We were located in the back of the hotel so we experienced no noise from the highway. The bed was comfy and the television has a ton of channels. Breakfast thing morning was fine. They have scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and the other usual hotel breakfast suspects. This hotel also has a pool and gym. There is plenty of parking and there's a gas station with plenty of snacks and drinks within walking distance.

The free breakfast was fairly typical (waffles, bagels, sausage, eggs, toast, yogurt, etc) and the breakfast area was clean. The pool was warm (which is our preference) but there weren't any towels out (we had to stop by the front desk). While there isn't a lot off of that particular exit if you drive 8 minutes to the next exit there are plenty of places to eat and shop.

Plenty of parking spaces and well lit up. We can still smell the paint and new carpet. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30am. Food was plenty and yummy. Debbie had the breakfast area very clean, organized and well stocked! All the staff are friendly and they are working very hard to make sure we feel welcome. The check in process was very simple and fast. Definitely worth staying here again.

The fourth floor and…read moreour room smelled like marijuana which not only is illegal but very difficult to get rid of the smell. When we called the front desk to let them know it smelled like a Willie Nelson concert they said there were no more rooms available and they can drop off spray. The spray was industrial strength and not supposed to be used by humans, kids, or pets and 8 feet away from food...so basically not anywhere in the room. Then all of the channels on the television this morning weren't working. Very frustrating experience. Otherwise bed was nice, spacious room with the regular Holiday Inn breakfast.
