I went on Mother's Day, and I don't know what was wrong with the girl in the front but she had an attitude. I had no idea there was different types of pedicures and my technician told me about it, it was super nice, I liked that they have variety in their services. I just wish they had friendlier people up front, everyone was busy but I called earlier the day and they said it was walk ins only, I had to wait a little so I recommend scheduling appointments. I also love the bar, it's such a clever idea. I love the concept, it's something new. Never seen it before, so that's pretty cool! I would love to go again, with an appointment and hopefully next time I'll get greeted better! I would love to get asked if I want a drink at the start of my service not at the end. I've been coming to Tipsey's in Wellington since it relocated from their original place off 441. I've been to many salons over the years but find that Tipsey's is by far the best in their services, their personable personnel, and their clean and professional environment. I'm very fond of Stephanie who works their front desk a lot and nail technicians Kim and Tracey are the best in their field. It's a totally relaxing experience and my nails always look so good that I receive many compliments on them at work. Kim is the best at nails!! She so friendly and so sweet!!! I started with her with gel and and a pedi and accidentally cut me once and she apologize right away! I know she didn't means to it's happen and I have sensitive skin!! She talked me in to nexgen and omg I'm in love!!! I love the gel but this is better! She never disappoint me!! And her pedicure are the best!!! She gives the best pedi as well. Her massage are the best of the best I ask for extra all the time!! I've been going to Tipsy for over 2 years now, and I love it, however things have changed with the way they run the spa now and the manager there is very rude, unfriendly and non consistent. ( I believe his name was Chris ). There have been 2 times I arrived for a pedi and my appointment was given away with no explanation. Last time I ended up waiting for over 45mins even though I did schedule the appointment a week in advance ..I was very disappointed the way he handled my appointments. If there was an option for 6 stars, I would have chose that. I am a complete clean freak when it comes to my nails. I have left many places just because of sanitary issues. From the moment I sat in the pedicure chair I was instantly pleased. THANK GOD FOR THE PLASTIC LINER IN THE PEDICURE BOWL! So many places do not use these things. What a relief! When the technician sat down to start my service, her tools came from a packet that was sealed and you could tell her tools were clean. Let me begin by saying this is no reflection on my nail tech who does a fabulous job. As a long time regular customer (every two weeks), I am sad to say I will never be back. For the 4th time now the girls who book appointments messed up the time and my appointment was not in the computer. This time I asked to speak to the owner who could have cared less. He was disrespectful and offered nothing to make it right. He did not even say I am sorry. I walked out once again not being able to get the service I booked. Shameful lack of customer service! I went to Tipsy and had Patty do a partial highlight treatment on my hair. Patty was very awesome I loved her!! She was super sweet, funny, and I had an amazing time chatting with her while she was doing my hair. She's very generous and did a spectacular job with my hair. I've been to about 4 different salons and never had this great of an experience. The staff at Tipsy was very kind and friendly as well. Totally recommend coming here and asking for Patty! This salon is amazing! I have been coming here for a long time now and they have changed new owners and I must say she is doing a phenomenal job here. They updated the salon and the staff is full of great artists from hair to nails. Natalie the new owner is very friendly and makes u feel right at home. I recently went to visit a friend of mine and she recommended me to go to tipsys .I previously went to another salon to get highlights and they screwed it up. It was orange by the time I got home. I was very pleased with the turn out after Betty fixed it for me!! She was educated with her color formulation with Goldwell and used olaplex. I chose this salon after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp and I wasn't disappointed. Maria gave me the most thorough pedi I've ever had. Even though I have sore toes, she was gentle and got the job done! Imelda finished my mani and was also terrific. I also had my brows threaded- quick and almost painless! Tipsy's is my go-to place when I get my nails done. NexGen, Gel, and acrylic... never had a bad experience. Michael has done my nails multiple times and has done a fantastic job each time.
