He made the statement of 'I'll be with you in just a moment' - while barely glancing up - as I approached the line, but didn't say a word afterwards - but was quick to chat it up with people that were in line after me. I took it back to the dealer but they could not find or fix the issue. So I took it to Auto Pros and they very quickly discovered the issue and fixed it. The new battery from auto zone was not programed to the vehicle once they replaced the battery and programmed it no more dead battery issues. The dealer charged me for a new alternator when it was something as simple as a battery not being programmed to the car. Auto Zone did provide a refund. They ran a free diagnostic and it came back as I needed new spark plugs. I let them know that at Firestone and the man I spoke with said, " That's not helpful because it could be a bigger issue." That's really good service, and it's nice that he thought to do that even while his boss was not there to see that. I don't know if they still offer this, but when I first starting using Leading Edge Auto last year, they offered a warranty through TechNet (which I did use once.) Definitely my mechanic of choice.
