Unfortunately, I was pressed for time as a l needed to drive my car across the country. I came across Craft Repair for welding. I spoke with Wayne and informed him of my situation. After two attempts to repair the rim, the tire seal broke and air quickly release from the tire in minutes while I was driving on a bride and on a major freeway. I was hoping I would get this resolved with the owner but he has yet to return my call after leaving a message and also after speaking to his parent. Naturally I jumped on Yelp to see what people had to say about this place and it was in between. I decided to stop by Friday afternoon to get a quote and see if I can get my brakes replaced. The woman at the desk directed me to the mechanic in the garage for a quote and since I didnt know exactly what needed to be done to the brakes I just asked for a quote on new pads and rotors for front and back. He calculated some things and came back with a quote, I asked if it could be done today but they were backed up. He told me to come the next day and to come around 7am to make sure I'd be one of the first ones helped since they open up at 7:15am. Saturday morning I show up at 7am and there were already 5 people in front of me. I didnt mind since it was a Saturday and I had nothing else planned. When i got to the counter I told the lady what I needed done and then I sat in the lobby waiting. I almost forgot to mention how huge this place is by the way. 20 garage spaces for mechanics to work on cars and almost all of them were being used so business is definitely booming. After waiting for about an hour one of the mechanics called me and told me that all I needed was my front brake pads replaced and my rotors resurfaced and my rear breaks were fine. I was so happy to hear that and so shocked he was so honest and didnt try to beat me in the head and make me get a bunch of unnecessary work done on my car. He then gave me the total of what everything would be after tax and I was like hell yea let's do it! The price was well under what I was expecting. From inside the lobby I can see the mechanic working on my car and i also saw when he finished and put the tires back. The car was lowered so I thought it was pretty much done. So the only reason why I gave a 4 and not a 5 is because I literally watched my car sit there for an hour after the service was complete and asked the person at the desk was my car done because its back on the ground. They said they were waiting for the paperwork from the mechanic. He eventually came around and everything was good to go. Im so glad my coworker put me on to this place and its less than 4 miles from my home! I will def be back here to service my car.

Wife and daughter took vehicle back for brakes to be checked on 12/23/24. Mileage at 86090 ( 17641 miles later). Received text indicating all 4 brakes needed pads and routers as well as flush. Total $1013.32. I said no and paid the roughly $70 fee for them doing the brake check. I then immediately took the vehicle to Hornsby Tire and Service on Jefferson Ave in Newport News VA. I asked them to check all 4 brakes. Upon checking I was told I needed rear pads and routers. They did the job. Summary. Readers can come to their own conclusion. I will not be doing business with Brake King.

If you drop your car off early and they get the tire/rim to Kraft before 1pm, then they guarantee same day service. I dropped my car off last minute around 1130am and I got my car back around 415pm... the whole service was about $180.

They keep the customer informed- I had an appointment today at 9:30 am. Prior to appointment, TJ called to inform me the part was not in yet and asked if I could come in at 10:30? I said no problem, I was happy just to get the call cause in the past they never would have done. They have new service advisors. These guys know how to manage the work so that it will not effect the quality of the service. They also give you a firm appointment and not excuses. I like that. Lastly the price is still very reasonable. Now keep in mind, they use aftermarket parts. So I don't recommend bring and car less than three years old here for major work, but for general maintenance I recommend. Give them a try! Happy Yelping
