Finding a good and trustworthy auto shop is always tricky. After doing some research, I took my car here and was thankful for such a quick appointment. Making an appointment was fast and easy and customer service was great up to this point. So far so good. I made my appointment for 8am for a diagnostic and was told i could expect to hear something back around noon. After not hearing anything, I called close to 1pm and was told my car was next for service. When 4pm came around and I didn't hear anything I called again only to find out my car still wasn't looked at. At this point I was told to expect my car to be kept overnight but only because I asked about it. I was pretty frustrated considering I had an early appointment, all I needed was a diagnostic and for the simple fact I had to call for all updates not to mention having to now coordinate a ride home. I called again first thing in the morning and was then told I would have answers around 9. I was convinced then that my car wasn't looked at, at all the day prior. I did get a call shortly after 9 and I was apologized to and did get the answers I needed on my car. When I picked up my car, they were super apologetic and assured me this was not the normal way they conducted business. Because of the inconvenience, I was not charged for the diagnostic. While I was thankful, I was really disappointed with my whole experience. I understand things happen but good communication makes all the difference. Maybe my case was really just a one off, but this trip made me want to take my business elsewhere. read more

I recently had preventive maintenance done on my car at this shop. After paying over 2k for work to be done I drove the car for one day and the service engine light came on. This repair ended up costing me $500 more . After driving my car for about a two weeks the engine light came on again and when I investigated what the problem was, it turned out to be faulty workmanship. The owner agreed that it was faulty work but found a way to up charge the repair to $450. I could go into detail about the repairs but just know that this shop is not honest, does not stand behind their work and will overcharge you for doing rework caused by poor workmanship. read more

In April we had a transmission fluid flush done per the recommendation of Auto Pros on our 1998 Ford Explorer. In May we began noticing engine shaking and by June the car was stalling out and cutting off at stop lights. We took the truck to another shop, and were informed that not only should you not do a flush (but instead drain the fluid and refill) on an older vehicle, but Auto Pros had overfilled the transmission fluid by two liters, causing more problems for us. My husband and I have both used Auto Pros for our two older vehicles in the past, and we have always enjoyed working with Darrin and team. I'm giving 3 stars as a cumulative rate of all our experiences here - to include our less than stellar experience with the transmission flush, which cost us more money and headache than it should've. We won't return, but I'd recommend doing your own research on any suggestion they give before moving forward. read more

Be aware of this shop. Im not saying they are scammers but they are not honest and their work is average at best. I had my timing belt replaced with cam seal, crank seal, oil seal and water pump due to oil leak on passenger side of my 98 camry. Making the long story short there was oil leak on same side again after the work. I told guy name Terry that its leaking oil again on same area. So i brought the car back to the shop so they can recheck their workmanship. Next day, I called Terry for followup, and he said the oil leak is from head gasket and will cost $900 labor to fix it. I told him there is no way its head gasket and asked him to recheck the area where their performed work (Basically take the timing belt cover off and check if there is oil leaking). He insist of rechecking because he was 100% sure its coming head gasket. He said dont bother to fix it and drive the car as is. I told him okay that is fine I picked the car back up and took it to another shop. The mechanic from second shop took the timing belt cover off and he saw oil leak from cam seal. Now im getting the cam seal redone using additional money for the labor. This work was originally done by Auto Pros. How do you mess up installing cam seals?!? That tells you where their mechanics workmanship and knowledge is.... I put my review on this shop on google as well. I feel people need to know the true review of their service. ------------------Update---------------------- Been driving for almost two weeks now and the car is oil leak free and getting about 29 mpg! No head gasket changed. According to the second shop, he don't believe cam seal was replaced. He stated the seal looked like it was original seal. But all good. No more leak and good to go. I'm pretty confident with my mechanical knowledge and I'm wondering how many people who took their cars to this shop and them telling customers who may not be mechanically savy to replace something that may not be the main issue and charge them for the work..... FYI.... This is my honest true experience and I don't recommend them. I will not be taking my car there again and I'm sure any of my friends and family members will either. read more
