Been putting off a front flat for much too long. Don't know about you but we're still for the most part sheltering in place, and going inside a service shop is not high on my list. David from Tire Brigade brings the tires and labor to you. He was able to assess my other tire and determine the size from photos. He replaced both of my front tires in about 45 minutes. He's so friendly and his assistant Molly (see below) is a sweetheart. I will definitely continue to use this service even when it's completely safe to get out about again. Yesterday, I had a low air light on my car. I assumed that it was the sudden change in weather that made the tire slacken up a little. Well, this morning, I had another low air light, and it turns out that I ran over a screw. Yeah, me. I work until 5, and couldn't find a tire company that would have been open by the time I got there. I ended up calling Tire Brigade--he came to me while I was working, and changed the tire, very quickly. This guy was fantastic. He replaced the tire, and checked the air pressure in the other tires. He was friendly, courteous, and I will call Tire Brigade again, if needed. I can't give a higher recommendation than that. read more

I stumbled upon David on line while looking for a replacement tire due to my unfortunate luck of running over a screw. I called David and he was very responsive and very friendly. He had the tire in stock that I was actually looking for. He scheduled to come to my house within 48 hours which was not a problem for my timeframe and replaced the tire in my driveway while I sat inside my home in the air-conditioning! I can't say enough about how impressed and pleasantly surprised I was with this type of concierge tire service. I will definitely use David for future tire needs. I will start with the good. The owner is extremely affable and seems very knowledgeable. I would have been happy to give him five stars, recommend him for our club and would have happily recommended him for use at my work where there is a fleet, had he actually installed my tires. I called him on a Monday and spoke with him, he was great and offered me a choice between Thursday and Friday of that week, I chose Thursday as I could get that day off but as with any job I needed a couple days notice. I called him on Wednesday to verify and was told he did not have a slot for me, he offered me a spot for the Friday that I was now working a double shift on, or the next week when I had no availability. This is why I called him on Monday and it was his responsibility to write me in. We had an agreement and an appointment. I left the time up to him. It stands to reason that he had a spot for me for Thursday on our call Monday and subsequently gave my spot to someone else that came after our call, that is unacceptable. I had to find another place last minute which I did thankfully and drive there to wait, which was the reason I tried this out in the first place. I am sure he is very capable but unfortunately I can't rate him on that. I can only rate him on my experience which was poor and caused inconvenience. I have warned off the club and won't recommend him at work, sad really, I thought I was going to be using him regularly. read more

Wanted to leave for work and found I'd run over a screw the previous day. Tire was flat as can be. Worse yet, stupid tire place had used one bolt that was too long, so I couldn't remove flat and put on spare. Figured I was in for a tow truck charge to put the spare on and a trip to the stupid tire place to get the tire plugged and ask why they would stupidly use the wrong bolt (it is at 3/8" too long...really obvious once "hub cap" is off). Found Tire Brigade online. David took the call, told me he was at a job and gave me an estimate of cost and when he'd be done. Called when he was on his way. Fixed the flat. Exactly the charge estimated (less than tow truck). Put the hub cap back on and offered to put my spare back in. Highly recommended. read more

I can't speak highly enough of David and his magnificent mobile Tire Brigade. It was the most unfortunate of circumstances under which I needed to contact this business: my wife and I blew out a tire while on vacation at Disney in a car with tires that are difficult to find in stock. We hopped on Tire Rack and ordered a new set on two day delivery to a recommended installer, which happed to be none other than the Tire Brigade. I was in contact with David ahead of the order, and was fortunate to have them installed by him first thing the morning after their arrival. His professional attitude and his passion for what he does made him a pleasure to work with. He took the time to double and triple check the tires match before unpacking everything, explained tire care to me in a way nobody has ever taken the time to do, and explain the markings and tire manufacturers date stamps to me (something I'll be paying more attention to in the future). I now have four new tires to safely get my wife and I back home to Texas thanks to David! I wish I had a local tire professional like him back home in Houston. read more

Tire Brigade saved my life. Not really but anyone with a car knows that car trouble is the absolute WORST. I exploded my tire and bent my rim, and my spare looked suspect. Calling around to all the tire shops in the area and no one carries rims in stock like that, and my best advice is to go to the junk yard myself and find one and bring it to a tire shop. My friend finds Tire Brigade on Yelp, I call and give David (the super friendly and helpful owner) absolutely no useful information, he tells me to TEXT him (I will always choose the text/chat option when available because... youth) pictures of the tire and rim so he can see what he can find. He texts me less than an hour later that he has a rim (no one had rims) and gives me a reasonable quote that includes all parts, labor, installation onsite at my house, and taxes. (Anyone who owns a car will also understand what a big deal it is for the first price you were initially quoted to still be the amount that is printed out for you at the end, and that happened!) We set up the appointment (VIA TEXT) for the same day, and I get a text when he is 40 minutes out. He shows up, changes out the tire, fits the new rim and tire right there in his lil tire bus, all the while giving me tips for tire shopping (All the straight men in my family and not a single one wanted to tell me to check the date on new tires? Smh) and explaining the pieces and why he chose what and all that, balances and fills my OTHER tires (and tells me how I've had my hub caps on wrong--thanks again @ straights), replaces one of the lil plastic caps on one of my other tires, fills up my SPARE, and even helps me put the spare back into my trunk (jigsaw puzzle-style). And none of those things added a cent to the price estimate I received before the appointment. I paid with a VISA via a reader on his phone, he gave me printed, SMS text, and email copies of my receipt, and like that my problem was already solved only a few hours after I made the lucky decision to call Tire Brigade. It was SO convenient; David took care of everything in hunting down a rim and tire and all that, and did in no time what i worried would be a week-long saga. He also told me he can travel wherever, job sites and offices included, and do tire work without you present at agreed upon times and such. All of this to say, I def recommend. read more

I bought some new rims from Tire Rack and had them drop shipped to David and his mobile wonder truck. Lickety-split, the Scottish brogue of the man himself was on my cell and within 72 hours he was at my workplace putting those rims on (and tightening all the nuts by hand to avoid stripping).
