I have always found these guys to be straight with me on the work that was needed to be done. They will, as all places will try to up sale you, because that is their job. But if you tell them no thanks, they are good with that and will do the work you asked them to do. Best to get all your tires from them just for the lifetime repairs. read more

I brought my flat tire for them to fix. The manager was RUDELY telling me to go back outside to get one of the guys in the shop to look at my flat tire. First of all, it should be his job to tell his technicians to help me. By the way, there was NO CUSTOMER at the counter except me. I WILL NEVER come back to this shop again. Why am I spending my hard earn money at the place where they treat their customer with ZERO respect? We customer are the reason they have their job. He should be fired. read more

I was looking for utility trailer tires and called to learn that Tread Quarters had several in stock at their shop. The price was less expensive than two other competitors who actually had to order the tires. The service men were very helpful and mounted my tires promptly. I will never go to this place again, nor do I recommend it to others. It's possible that other local places are better but this one in Yorktown/Grafton is the pitts. The tires are overpriced. The single person working in the bay left twice to go down the road for snacks so the person behind the desk was the only one there. (I heard them talking... first he was hungry and then thirsty.) I waited for hours just to have 2 new tires put on. Once I got home I found out that the alignment they pressured me into was not necessary. While I was there, another customer was screaming mad because they had used something on his car he had specifically told them NOT to use. No manager on site... when they called he was not available to talk with this angry man. What a circus! read more

DO NOT GO THERE, they were horrible. I went in for a simple brake pad replacement and they did not properly drain my brake fluid which damaged my ABS sensor which cost 1200 alone to replace plus all the other work to correct the issue of not properly draining brake fluid. Then they put lifetime brakes on my car which did not last even 3 years and are currently refusing to honor this and the corporate office is of no help. The director of customer service stated that all warranty are approved by her and if she doesn't want to honor it that is her decision so if I annoy her she will deny the warranty even though it is a valid claim to use the warranty. They told me I need my brake fluid flushed for over $300. I called Firestone and Graftex and both said the price shouldn't be more than $79. Just saying the prices at tread quarters are ridiculous and they make you feel like you absolutely have to get it done there right away. Go for a second opinion! read more

First and foremost, DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. The service was to put two tires on. My first contact with the shop was the day the tires arrived. I called ahead and asked the manager if they had time to put my tires on in the next hour. They confirmed but when I arrived they informed me it would be a 3 hour wait. The manager refused to acknowledge any fault. Strike one. I made an appointment for another day. Arrived at the set time. Ensured that they wouldn't be using an impact gun or a torque stick to impact the wheels on, the shop manager confirmed that. It took 20 minutes before they pulled the car in. Whats the point of making appointments if you're not going to stick to the time? After about 45 minutes I wandered out to check the progress to see my car with the hood opened on the lift, no other service was authorized. Strike two. After an hour and twenty minutes waiting for two tires to be put on I went back out to see what might be taking so long. At which point I saw the service person impacting on all the lugnuts. People, this is bad. On alloy wheels, this should never happen and will leave you stuck on the side of the road and can damage your wheels. Now, keep in mind I already asked and was ensured they don't do this. After a chat with the shop manager I was told that this was their process and they don't do it any other way, completely counter to what I was told at the beginning. In short the employees of this location are inept and are led by rude, incompetent management that also lies to your face. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE! EDIT They also failed to properly inflate the tires. Spec is 33, one tire was at 29 and the other was at 35. read more
