My car wouldn't turn over. Everything was working great it's just my starter wasn't turning over when you would start it. So we had my car towed here to get fixed. We figured they did great with fixing my car a few months back when my brakes went out so we'd go there again. Well to say the least they put a new starter in but now the display in my car isn't working it's just a black screen. No radio, no gps no nothing. We told them about it and the guy came out and messed with the fuse box and said nothing they can do. I called them this morning and explained everything and the first thing that came out of this persons mouth was and I quote "It's not our fault". Now I don't know about anyone else but it was working fine when they got my car and now it's not working at all. read more

The worst service ever! I was there last 3 years for state inspection, tire rotation and oil change with my 3rd very old car. Last year they told me everything is OK but should clean head lights for next year inspection and I did it. I didn't drive this car more than 200 miles last year so nothing could change but they told me that 2 engine mount need to be replaced and rear shocks to pass inspection. To fix that they wanted close to $2000. Plus it was other things to fix and total would be about $3000? I told them to reject inspection. After 1 hr I went to pickup my car and they charge me for oil change and tire rotation and state inspection. When I came to car I noticed that they didn't touch tires! I new that because wheel cover plates were in same bad position to cover air access to tire and I strictly mention about that in front when I left car. So unreliable and not honest service! I have been coming to this quicklane for six years. The few times I'd gone elsewhere, the prices became unreasonable. I thought I had a good rapport with the folks working there. Thats slowly begun to change. 5 years ago, I attempted to have new brake pads put on because my stopping time had drastically changed. Lee (who was not a manager at the time) told me it'd be a waste of money as my pads were virtually new. From then on I felt I could trust them to be honest and upfront with me about the cost and upkeep of my car. The pandemic changed things there significantly. Many new faces-and a lot of the new folks didn't know what oil I used, or my car history, whatever right? They can learn. Well, I had my oil changed last Thursday Sept 22nd,2022. I was treated like an imbecile for asking for amsoil. By the same man, Lee, who is not the manager. So I go by their recommendation, and leave. It smells bad every time I start and stop my car. I looked under the hood today because there's oil all over my garage floor. There's oil EVERYWHERE. The oil cap is down under the engine. I'll take it in tomorrow and have them fix it, but after that? *Update * They cleaned it pretty thoroughly, and they seem serious about earning my trust back. I took my vehicle in to Quick Lane for "The Works" (oil change & tire rotation). About an hour after dropping it off, QL calls and says part of their free "50 point inspection" indicates that I need new rear brakes, not just brake pads but also rotors. My vehicle has 15,500 miles on it. Being a little skeptical, I decline and pick the vehicle up after the oil change/tire rotation. A couple of days later, I took it to Sprinkle & Williams Automotive, where I take all of my vehicles after the factory warranty expires, and ask them to check out the rear brakes, giving them the measurements that QL gave me, indicating that the pads and rotors needed to be replaced and if they were legitimate, to go ahead and replace them. 45 minutes after dropping it off, Sprinkle & Williams called me and tells me my vehicle is ready to be picked up and that I absolutely don't need new rear brakes and that they have no idea where QL came up with the measurements that they gave me. Take that for what it's worth but I'm done with Quick Lane now, even for simple routine work. read more

I have been going to Bowditch quick lane for years. In the beginning they were good but now they have gone down hill. I was there yesterday and the mechanic forgot to reset my change oil light. They fix the issue so I went to the manager to discuss to him that I will not be returning and that I'm don't being treated horrible there. The manager will be gone for a week which I understand we all need a break but have someone else look into the issue. When I got done discussing my issues I come to find my car unlock and window down. The funny thing is now that I have no idea when I need a new oil change. read more

Customer Service is terrible. Saturday is advertised as first come first serve. It is not. Individual taking cars ignores it and prioritizes however he wants. Cars arriving 30 mins after routinely go to front. Wasted 90 mins today, 4/22/22. read more

They gave us a decent price. They didn't have a whole bunch of hidden fees. They charged us less than they quoted us. They didn't lie to us and tell us we needed to have things done that were not necessary. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite clean. They open early. read more

I went to their location on J. Clyde Morris when my Ford Fusion began to make a creaking noise from the front-end. I read online that the problem might be a lower control arm bushing, so I told the service writer that may be the problem; but I asked to have it checked out. He told me I needed new struts and provided a written estimate of $1,100 (approximately) and then charged me for the diagnosis. I went to another shop (No Limit Auto) to get a second estimate. That shop estimated the work at $600. I had the work done, but the noise continued. The next day, I asked the second shop to investigate the noise and - without charging me - told me it was the lower control arm bushing (I probably should have asked them to give me THEIR diagnosis first, but I relied on Bowditch's and I probably needed new struts anyway). So, not only did Bowditch try to gouge me on the repair price, but they also failed to diagnosis the problem. I will never go there again and have passed along these sentiments to everyone I know. read more

This place has amazing service! They've earned themselves a customer for all repair needs in the future. I went to this shop to get an inspection, strictly based on their yelp reviews. The reviews couldn't be more accurate. They are unbelievably friendly and willing to help. Scott, their manager is exceptional. I came in expecting to pay for an inspection, but got one for free. He had a coupon for a free inspection that he just gave me. He didn't have too, he just did because they seem to have the customers best interest in mind. This type of service is hard to find. I own a business near the Bowditch Quicklane location on J. Clyde Morris Blvd. My company operates a fleet of 10 automobiles and keeping up with the maintenance is difficult. I thought Quicklane would be a good place to take the vehicles for oil changes since they are close and I took the name of the company to mean I could get the cars in and out quickly. I talked with a personable young lady named Venus who assured me they could get the cars done quickly but that it was the end of the month and they had a lot of cars in for State Inspection. She said she should be able to get them done within a couple of hours and I said that would be all right with me. I left the first car there with instructions to call me when it was completed. About 4 or 5 hours later I passed by and saw my car sitting outside the office and I stopped in and asked if it was ready. I was told it had been ready for a couple of hours. I asked why I was not called and was told that they had called repeatedly and gotten a busy signal. I have 4 lines and if a call come in on a busy line it will "roll over" to an open line. Getting a busy signal there is extremely unusual. Getting a busy signal repeatedly is almost impossible. They did get the second car done in about two to two and one-half hours. I told them I would drop off a third car just before they closed at 7:00 to have an oil change and a State Inspection and that I would pick it up on Saturday. They gave me an envelop for the keys. I took the third car there at 6:20 PM not expecting to need to use the Key Drop envelop but I found they were already closed. I completed the information on the envelop , checking a box next to "Change Engine Oil" and writing instructions to do the State Inspection and to call me if it needed repairs. Saturday afternoon about 2:20 PM they called and told me it was ready. I could not pick it up then and told them I would pick it up on Monday morning. When I got there the State Inspection had been done, it required no repairs, but they had not done the oil change. I dropped off the fourth car when I picked up the third one at about 9:30 Monday morning. All it needed was an oil change. At about 4:00 PM I called and asked to speak to Venus. I explained my experiences up to this point. She had excuses for everything. They had problems with their phones which gave them false busy signals. She had people call in sick today and they had not yet gotten to my car (after 61/2 hours). When I was in retail and got a call from a dissatisfied customer I did three things: 1. Apologize 2. Promise it would not happen again. 3. Asked what I could do to make it right for the customer. Venus did none of these. I believe they were doing their best. It is not good enough. read more

Do yourself a favor and just go to the Jiffy Lube. Quick is not part of the Quicklane experience. And definitely don't bother dropping your car off overnight. They do not check the key drop, and what should have been a quick, 1 hour job turns into two days of your car sitting in a parking lot, while you call repeatedly to check on it. Maybe they'll realize it's there at some point. read more

I am a car nut. No doubt about it. Taking my vehicles in for ANYTHING, even the required inspections makes me cringe. Shortly after moving to the area I came across this Quick Lane. It was just opening and under construction. I went it and Jerry made me feel right at home with inspections. The service writers are all so very nice. Just yesterday I went back in for some tire work, and Venus was also very helpful. I even got to speak with the technician doing the work and that really sealed the deal. I knew my vehicle was in good capable hands. Their prices have been really reasonable as well. It is all first-come, first-served and at times it seems they can get a little on the busy side, but I have found if you call ahead and see what sort of schedule they have it really helps gauge when to bring your vehicle in, especially if you are waiting on it. They have a really nice lounge area with coffee and other beverages for their guests. In my opinion, this place is as good as it gets for auto service. read more

This place was awesome. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The facility was very nice and clean. Excellent customer service. I went in to get my Honda re-inspected after going through the Honda dealership for an inspection. My battery was mysteriously missing the clamp to hold it down, so I failed the inspection at the Honda dealership. They told me they would have to order the battery hold down clamp and it would probably be in the next day. I was quoted $79 to replace the clamp. I paid Honda for my inspection and went right up the street to Auto Zone, paid less than $5 for a clamp, went over to Quick lane to get my car re-inspected, and get the clamp put on my battery. The service was quick, I paid $0.00 for the inspection, and for them to put the clamp on my battery. I am referring all my friends to Bowditch. I have always had great service when I go to them and I plan to continue bringing all my car needs to them read more
