I removed my wheels from my ride, took them to Tire Bros. The only thing I was needing was all…read morethem balanced. After they completed the balancing I was loading them up and one of the guys said he used brakes parts cleaner to remove the old foam tape that held on the old weights. I said ok, got home and started unloading them. I got out some wheel cleaner and got their finger and hand prints of them. On the last one, the back rim I could not remove the brake parts cleaner haze/etch. I loaded that one back up and returned to Tire Bros, one of the employees came out and said what is the problem. I told him I tried every cleaner I had was not removing it. So, he got some kind of spray and a dirty shop rag. He started spraying and wiping the rim, I noticed right away that it was eating the powder coat off. The wheel was sitting on the tailgate of my truck in sun, I could see where he was wiping it was getting a dull look to it. He looked at the area of the rag he was using and it had paint on it. I then put my finger on that area and it was very tacky. I told him and he put his rubber gloved fingers on the area and went to pull back and the glove snapped back and almost degloved him. He said let me work on this to clean it better, I will give you a call when it is complete. Later that day, the Manager/Owner called and said he was going to run the wheel to Cleveland to get cleaned and buffed. I picked it up a few days later, I was not happy with it. We came to a point where he told me to get a quote to get re-powder coated, and he would take care of it. So, about 6-7 weeks later I returned with a quote. When I walked in he now told he would only pay $100.00 of it. I was not taking the amount he was offering. So, he then said he would pay half, this was not what he said in the start of all the of BS. I told him if your not paying it 100%, I'm not even going to take it. I, then said you have all free advertisement you have coming to your sorry business practices. Shame on you not being a man of your word. Take it from me, give another tire shop your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the scenario: Driving along, about seventy in a fifty, because, hey. Nice day, I'm on vacation, the family is singing along with the radio and we are blessedly beyond cell range. Whammo. I hit a chunk of steel in the road. Huh. We drive along, nothing seems wrong. Later, I see that the tire is going flat. I drop off the girls, head back to the gas station and add some air. Anyplace nearby that could fix a tire, asks me. "Sure, take a left, first right, go two point nine miles, he's on the right. BEST place around." Go outside, add some air, yet another stranger adds, "Did you understand how to get there? It's kinda in the middle of nowhere." Oh, and I thought I already WAS in that location. "I won't take my truck anywhere else in Ohio. BEST prices." So, two referrals. I wander down some county road, past farms, hills, dales, hollers... There can't be a business this far back in the sticks... Hey. Wait. There's a bunch of cars. "Primitive." "Rustic." "Homespun." All these would be too fine, in their description. "Musty," perhaps. "Unpaved," certainly. "I'm sure glad my wife isn't here to see this," naturally. But the folks are nice, they put me about sixth on the list of repairs, and I take a seat in the waiting room. Two hours later, the mechanic comes out. "We couldn't save that tire, so we put on a used tire. There's no charge." Ass sphincter says what? No, really what do I owe you? "Nothing. We just put a used tire on there. Holy familial inbreeding. Now THAT is unusual. Guy from out of town, probably never see him again, and you toss him a comp? Now, I can die a happy man. I set an appointment as I heard it was the fastest way to get in and out and it took about 30 minuets from the time I got there till I was done. Very friendly people. The only downside is trying to call them to set an appointment. You can't get through on the phone at least I couldn't. Tires are of good quality and no problems with them.

This may be a little unconventional review. The work done on my wife's van was so bad I ended up…read moregetting fired from my place of employment less than 2 months later after trying to rectify. Needed front blower motor, front and rear pads and rotors, ac looked at, check engine light looked at and fix the door lock actuator that failed. Tech recommended an oil filter housing, power steering, brake flushes, cabin filter and alignment. The main technician is older and can't bend to do certain jobs. making my wife's vehicle the job of his understudy. I did not want that person to do anything with the door lock actuator due to inexperience. Ryan Scott , General Manager, assured me ( after I had talked with Mr Andrew Brown about this exact thing) this was no big deal and we will get it taken care of. I asked to not do it but he said no we will get it done. I said no. Took shop truck home due to vehicle being in pieces. Finished next day 40 minutes past closing. Found out driving home I had no heat or coolant and overheated. I turned around and parked van, texted Tyler Ousley and Ryan Scott about the overheating and the middle door not working. It was my day off and got a messege maybe 45 minutes into the morning saying vehicle was fixed. I was out so picked up after hours and was not in fact OK but had already spent 3 entire days at shop. This was March. I had many, many conversations with Mr Scott saying the van is messed up. Now the right side sliding door no longer stow and go seat work, right middle heated seat inop right middle. window inop . missing plastic panel on floor next to sliding door. some vents now do not work in the back section. And to top it off the brakes squeal when stopping. Most likely front. ac was never checked as requested cel was never checked as requested. Almost like it was just ripped and torn apart with malice. Mr Scott said just bring it in no worries. Well March turned to April. Then suddenly Tech is sick/hurt/jury duty/ vacation. Then Mr Scott went on vacation. I start to get really annoyed but then May hits, I ask again . I also ask for a raise and a promotion to Mr Douglas Smeltzer. I worked with Mike Mcsorely for 15 years at Pepboys. I previously was a goodyear employee from 2005 to 2008. Instead got fired. and spent 2200 in an area that will cost more than that to fix what Goodyear ( not ase) technician broke. I have receipts, pictures and texts. I would like my wife's vehicle fixed at a dealership and be refunded for this horrible situation. And I won't even go into the 3rd party private info of mine being shared between Richland County Sherriffs Dept and my place of employment. I was interviewing for a job at sheriff's office amd for some reason they felt it OK to share my personal emails to my work. and then my work firing me. Parked car for two months and then drove it to NC. Upon inspecting a clunking noise when I slowed over bumps, discovered front caliper had one bolt missing and the second was half loose. Contacted manager, to report work quality and was told they would get back to me. No response! Called back, voice mail, no response. Disappointed.
