I wish I could rate this place a zero stars. Please save your money, save your time, and save your convenience. It's not worth it. This place does not make their wrongs - right. I've had 2 blown outs on two different tires within a 7 days span. MIND YOU IM PREGNANT. I wish I was joking. The owner blamed it on a "curb check" both times, which is insane. I've been driving for over 10 years, never experienced a popped tire, but all of a sudden I became a terrible driver over night. They just don't want to not take accountability, so they are shifting blame on me. It's annoying and they told me if I want the second one changed I need to pay for it....... so much for 30 day warranty. read more

I'm planning on purchasing a new vehicle and trading my current vehicle in. Unfortunately, I noticed yesterday that my from tire was terribly balding! Since I haven't found a new vehicle yet, I still have to drive my current one- and I don't want to spend almost $300 on 2 new tires!! So, I was advised by a nice guy at Discount Tire to look for used tires. Honestly, getting used tires seems kind of weird, but when I called Tire Dawgs, they were very upfront and helpful, even providing different tire options and how old the tires were. These guys are fab! Hobbled there after calling around for a used tire to match my current one, which they miraculously had. When I got there, after looking at it quickly, they suggested that I could patch it instead for only $20. They could have charged more for a used tire, but they didn't. That's integrity. I called them and got a price on two tires. 235 85 r16G rated. $90 installed. They claimed that they had it in stock. After removing the wheels at home from my motorhome in the heat. And carting it all the way across town. I get there and they tell me they don't have the tires in stock. Then I speak to another individual, who claims they do have it in stock but the tires are $270. Then I speak to the manager who claims they don't have the tires in stock but have to order them in later today. Then they quoted me a price for two brand new tires even more than what discount tire around the corner from my house was going to charge me. Not to mention they were E rated tires.Which would not meet my RVs weight needs. I should mention this is the second time this same issue has happened with this place. They will never see my business again nor any of my associates. And I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. False advertising and bait and switch is not OK in the world we live in today. read more

Two weeks after getting two of my tires replaced, I ran over a nail or something while I was driving and one of my new tires went flat. Back in 2009 I bought tires from here after my brothers friend recommendation. The tires were reasonably priced but short lived. The warranty is only 30days and unfortunately the tires didn't last 30 days. The front passenger tire developed a "bump" within 2 weeks which luckily I was able to get off the freeway before it tore apart. I went to the shop and since I had the receipt, they replaced it. Being that the other tires on the truck, I had concerns about the others. They told me that they would not do anything about the others unless they had similar issues. Two days later on the way to a job in Verado, on I-10 my co-worker and I head a constant loud sound. The scary thing is I was traveling about 70mph with semi trucks all around. In the matter of 3 seconds noise went to an explosion sound and at that moment I passed the bridge over cottonwood lane. Once the vehicle stopped, I was able to check the vehicle and see that my bed side panel is gone and the only parts that remained of the tire were the rings on the wheel hub. I contacted Tire Dawgs and the only thing they told me was that if I brought them the tire, and the receipt that they would replace it, just that tire. As for the other vehicle damage, I was told I am on my own. I went to a different tire place at baseline and 7th st and had all the tires replaced with something with a real warranty, by a reputable company that backs up what they sell and doesn't have just a 30 day warranty. The only reason that this review isn't a 1 star is that it was a while ago and since they moved and are still around I'm hoping that they are better than they use to be.. Be careful when you get something here. Make sure you don't need it for the long term. read more

Needed a tire(1) since I been a customer for many years.. The price for a used tire changed 3 times. I was told was the best tire for the price. The tire had a nail that was repaired. After I paid the lower rate the owner was questioning me how much did you pay for the tire. Went from 41.00 to 37.00.. He was angry making a real issue. I offered to pay the 41.00 of which he did not answer or want to accept. I have referred many friends and neighbors with praise. I will never go back...many tire shops much closer to my home. As I was leaving heard one of 3 men one being the owner calling me a nut case. Simply amazing. Mike Staggs, the President was so easy to work with. Got some awesome tires at an insane price. Also, I ran over some road debris on the way home (the day the tires were installed) and I got a large piece of metal embedded in the tire. Tire did not deflate, so I drove it back to Tire Dawgs the next day. Mike's crew removed the piece of metal and patched the tire ... BUT here is the cool part. Mike ordered me a replacement tire which arrived the next day and they did a tire swap out - AT NO CHARGE. This is my new "go to" place for tires. It should be yours too. I called ahead to check stock and made my way over, the receptionist was very kind in pointing me in the right direction when pulling in, and I was greeted right away by the mechanic. I didn't even tell them I was in a hurry or attempted to rush them, and they still had me in and out within 20 minutes at a reasonable price!
