I never write reviews, but... They have professional equipment only, I repeat, only equipment! I had a damaged 1 front wheel (worn tread). I came to buy a new pair of tires ahead and do the balancing. They put the new tires back and the old ones forward. And now the good rubber that was in the back (but turned out to be in front) needs to be replaced. Thanks for adding problems for the money. read more

With my tires shredded down below the safe point, we did some research and made an appointment to have two tires replaced on sweet Irene. We showed up a half-hour earlier than our appointment and the place was pretty packed. Luckily I followed hubby in the other car so we could run some errands while waiting. We drove away and were told the car would be ready around 3:30-4 (two to 2 1/2 hours later). Around 2 the phone rings and its Tire Kingdom, stating they couldn't find the wheel lock. This is common, as it isn't the first time I've had this situation happen. VW makes sure no one can run away with your wheels! I love that! Being that we knew they just brought the car in at 2, we decided to head back down at 3:45 so we'd be close when they called. We ended up driving away with Irene and her new shoes at 4:30, which isn't too bad. They do add the one-year alignment program and roadside assistance to your bill, so make sure to double check before paying if this is something you wish to not have and pay for. Other than that, everyone that worked there was super friendly, helpful and professional. The prices are reasonable and run about what everyone else charges in the area. The good thing about tire kingdom is that they have locations all around the country. So, if you travel and have an issue, there should be one nearby (whether it's a Tire Kingdom or an affiliate that can help you). read more

Took my car in for a free brake check cause I've owned my vehicle for 4 month and I didn't know when my break pads were last replaced. They came back with a bid for $1300+. I told them to give me my car back. They tried to back up and say well maybe u don't need this. Brought it down to $900. I repeat, "I'd like my car back please". They tell me it's already taken apart and try to pressure me into having it done that day. I say no. Brought my car somewhere else today. New bid $600. DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS!!! I was on a business trip and picked up a screw in my tire. I stopped at this location to get it patched so I could drive home safely and without worry. My appointment was at 9:30 and 45 minutes later they (chick with long hair) tell me that they can't fix my tire because my tread is too low. They said "its illegal for us to patch it. You need new tires and I have two quotes for you". Meanwhile, I had my car at the dealer three months ago and they said I'll need tires soon but not right away. I left and went to Franks family car care in the same plaza and they patched my tire right then and didn't even charge me. I needed help and tire kingdom tried to take advantage of me. Shame on them! Don't trust them and don't go there. I did't want want to give them a star but had to in order to submit my review. read more

Very disappointed with their service. We have used Tire kingdom off an on for several years. This last time when my husband took one of our vehicles for an oil change and alignment Several things went wrong. When we picked up our mercedes s550.- the battery died. We where told we had a bad battery, yet we never had any issues. When my husband checked the oil- it was clean. The oil filter- it was never changed. When that was addressed, they did admit that it was a human mistake and someone forgot to change it. Their is damage to our bumper, yet we are told that it was documented and it was their, even though I can not get the documentation. When someone called me (my guess is the regional manager Mike) he was very abrupt and told me that no insurance claim can be opened cause everything is documented although, interestingly when my husband pointed it out to the store manager he asked if we wanted to open a claim. When I told them that alignment was not done properly- again I was told that it was done properly, which makes us as customers wrong at anything that gets pointed out. Yes, they did knock off the price for the filter, but the feeling that you get is : they do not care about your vehicle or the service they provide. As a customer you are wrong and their only concern is to cover their employees mistakes at your cost. read more

Was referred by my property manager when I told her that I was concerned about a low tire pressure warning on my rental; the guys were very nice - they checked each tire carefully for nails, put air in as needed and it all checked out great! No charge for it - so I'm writing this review - great place and I'd come back to buy tires from them for sure! Highly recommend them! read more

Had a flat this morning. Bummer. Of course I knew it was about time for new tires, but it's always a pain when the tire decides instead of me. Stopped in at WalMart and they didn't have the correct tires. I spied Tire Kingdom as I was heading for another location. Stopped in, they were very busy. That's usually good sign, right? It took about 10 mins to be able to belly up to the counter. Bill, behind the counter was very helpful. Gave me a mini tutorial on tires. I made a selection, price was fair, about in the middle of what I had seen online. I'm giving them a three because of the under staffing at the front desk. The wait to get the tires mounted was also a little excessive. But, like I said they were busy and all the bays were full. Service was good, not stellar, but solid. Waiting chairs were hard folding chairs. More comfort for the 1.5 hour wait would have been much appreciated. I would do business here again, but not committed to them if I find someplace better. read more

I bought 4 new tires at Tire Kingdom off 41 in Port Charlotte. The one closer to North Port. Seems like I waited a long time. The back tires did nothing but slow leak and had to put air in them every month or so. I don't much. Finally I got tired of this and made an appointment. I told them my rims are aluminum and when I was up north they sealed them. They told me that they shouldn't have to do this. Okay so I brought them in and just asked them to take them off and seal them. But they told me that they would need to look at the rims etc. before doing this?? appointment at 2;00pm. get there at 1:50pm and wait. said they would know the problem roughly 15 minutes. around 2:55pm I decided to walk outside and make a cell phone call. There's my car sitting in the same spot? I asked the manager what was up? were busy! I asked him why did I make an appointment several days in advance then? I just asked for my car fob and left. Don't go here the frustration is not worth it! I never was impressed with the ride of the tires I bought from them. read more

Came in by appt for oil change and tire rotation. Had researched proper oil for my 2016 Nissan beforehand and found that basic oil was ok for vehicle. But, then was told by that car needed considerably higher priced synthetic oil and car would not run properly without it. Found this to be completely false according to Nissan dealership in area. When asked about this later same day , the dishonest upselling liar behind counter said oil was what I had asked for. Then, to complete this farse, they would not rotate tires because tread was supposedly too low. I was told that I would need 4 new tires when turning leased car in or face steep charges from dealer. Considering this was my 6th lease from Nissan, the smell of this bull.... was evident. Shady, lying, underhanded crooks. read more

Made an appointment for a tire running low on air wasn"t sure if I had a nail or screw or what was going on. Waited 30 minutes for the vehicle to get looked at, well past my appointment time. Then they came in to ask were the key lock was, which I had completely forgotten about, told them it was in the center concil. They came back to tell me it was the wrong one and didn't fit. After an unpleasant conversation with the guy at the counter and him basicly calling me a liar as the key was last used when they replaced my tires almost two years ago, I agreed to come back again the next day to have the lug nuts replaced and the tire repaired. After arriving home I checked the concil which did in fact have the lock right there where I stated it was. Went back the next day waited an hour had it "repaired" at no cost! Awesome I thought until two days later when the tire was yet again low. I have used them for both my vehicles for a few years now but will not return again nor recommend them again. read more
