There's a waiting area if you want to wait for your car, but we dropped off, and they called when they were ready for us to pick up. You pay a small deposit with the booking, then you review the estimate at the time of your appointment, then pay when the services have been completed. All in all, convenient and upfront. Costco has better prices for tires, but the scheduling can take weeks, not great unless you are a very organized person. read more

This place tried to upsell me hard. I came in with a spare on and my original tire in the trunk. The employee didn't inspect anything properly, he didn't inflate the tire, didn't check the rim, didn't measure tread depth. Instead, he took pictures of my plate, zoomed in on random spots on the tire, and claimed I needed four new tires because my car is AWD. He quoted me $1000 without doing any real work. On top of that, he seemed confused, couldn't remember his own desk, and struggled to write down basic information. I left immediately. Definitely not a place I trust. Went into yesterday at 6 pm for a tire change and they were able to get my tire ordered and changed by 2pm today. Jay was incredible helpful and made it easy and quick for us to get in and out with quality service. He also was kind enough to work with me on pricing; finding a quality tire for a great price. As a woman, I usually have a super hard time with places like these. However, I have almost always taken my vehicle for routine repairs and fixes to tire kingdom (not necessarily this one, but any that are near me). Earlier this week while driving to St. Petersburg, my car started acting up and driving oddly so I made the decision to get off the interstate and have someone look at it. I got to this shop about an hour prior to close and was extremely stressed out. It was just my dog and I in the car. I explained initially what was going on with the car. The first gentlemen had just advised me their technician just left and the car could stay overnight for someone to look at the following morning. Me, already overwhelmed, returned back to my vehicle and about had a breakdown in my car. About 5 minutes later, the sweetest woman/angel ever by the name of Ida came to my window to check on me. She had an off the clock tech take a look at my car and do a mini test drive in the parking lot to discover I was most likely having transmission issues. The car was not drivable and I was at this point waiting for my ride to come get me. Ida did not hesitate to help grab my dog and my belongings from the trunk and find a place inside for me to relax until my ride got there. The following day they checked the car out fully and again confirmed this was a transmission issue they would not be able to fix. They did not even charge me the price for the diagnostic check and provided a number for a tow truck service as well. This easily was the best experience I have ever had from an auto shop. Wait time on the phone was a little long but we're talking minutes. Quoted a tire patch at about $37 on the phone, was a few bucks more. No complaints. I went around 10am. Wasn't too crazy busy there to my surprise. They could probably use someone else helping the lady with customers since she was stuck on the phone. Eventually a man came to assist me and another customer. The overall interaction with the staff wasn't warm or cozy but it's really not an issue. They get you in and out! One of my lug nuts was severely damaged by a competing firm during a tire rotation and I was concerned that it would pose a problem the next time I changed my tires or had a flat. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION!! This place does not care about you. Not the front desk guys, not the mechanics and not the corporate people. It's a shame too because I've had good experiences at other locations. However, time and time again, I am shocked at how they drop the ball, over charge, or are unprofessional. I had a shake in my wheel.. thought I might need an alignment (covered with my past tire purchases).. they originally told me I have 9 mm on front brakes and 4 mm left on back breaks and that they shouldn't need to be changed. Then called me back saying my back breaks need to be replaced.. 600.00 later and my wheel shook as soon as I picked it up. Manager says.. oh well, we need to shave the rotors and a break flush for 300+ more dollars.. I'm like let me get a second opinion. I take it to my other place (that doesn't have a payment plan.. only reason I did the breaks there) and the guy told me that back breaks are not the recommended fix for a shake wheel and they probably knew that! Now I call the corporate office and the woman on the phone can't be bothered.. NO THANKS! I don't mind paying to keep my property in good shape but this was just a scam from the get. Terrible service. I went in for a free tire rotation to maintain the vehicle and Tire Kingdom warranty on my new tires purchased at my local Bradenton TK location. Tampa TK technicians over torqued my OEM lug nuts cracking ALL of the OEM lugs and cross threading two studs, I left with studs without nuts and cheap incorrect and incomplete lug nut set they found in their shop to replace my lugs they broke. They need proper training. The salespeople tried telling me the heat from the ''Tampa Sun' causes the lugs to heat up and crack - SERIOUSLY?!?! Wanted to share my experience with Store #010 (Henderson). I understand that this might have been an isolated case but based on previous experience I do not believe this to be the case. This store is literally blocks from my house. I drive much further for tire service just to avoid having to go to this store based on previous experiences here. It's been years since I've been to this store but ventured back because of convenience and because I was in a time crunch.... This store literally lost the keys to my car... I was sitting in lobby waiting for my car to be done only to find out that they had not started working on it because they could not move it because the keys could not be located. At one point half of the shop was looking for the keys... ...but they, at that point, had still NOT told me about the missing keys. I overheard an employee say something about missing keys and it took me, asking them, to find out that the missing keys were in fact those of my car. I waited for close to an hour before I decided to leave because I had other commitments, I needed to tend to... ...now without a car. I needed to take an Uber home that evening (October 11), then an Uber to work the next day.... ...and then take time out of my day to get back to the shop, the next day, via Uber, when they finally located my keys... Keeping the customer's keys safe would seem, to me, as the most basic aspect of keeping a shop like this open. If a customer can't expect at least this level of BASIC service, then what sort of expectation might one have about much more complicated work being done to a car? I would not bring my car back to this store for even a windshield washer fluid top-off... They offered me a $50 dollar discount for all my trouble, on a $400 ticket.... It honestly felt degrading and at that point I didn't even have the energy or patience to continue to engage with them. I just wanted my car back and the opportunity to get out of there... In conclusion, 10 out of 10 would not recommend this store. Customer service (their corporate number) was not much better so, in my mind, this is clearly a sign of bigger issues at the corporate level.... Buyer beware... read more

Worst place ever.. I went in for a allinment rotation and balance and after driving away the car still pulling on one side and no rotation nor balance was done.. I returned to the shop and told him that the vehicle still pulling on the side..he responded saying that he has to recheck allinment and they didn t do tire rotation because I didn t ask!! This place is horrible and has no customer service. I called and scheduled an appointment and was given pricing. I thought it was a good price so I went at my scheduled time. The guy at the counter said they would not be able to get to my car but I could schedule for the next day. Not sure what the point is to have an appointment if they don't keep it. I went over the pricing with him and his price was several hundred more. I told him what I was quoted and he responded that the person on the phone didn't know what she was talking about. He was demeaning and rude and happy to throw his coworker under the bus. Two red flags on this location. I use Yelp a lot but never post reviews. I feel the need to in these scenarios. 1.) This Tire Kingdom location recommended I replace my oil pan and provided the $500 estimate. I told them I'll do the replacement when my car needs an oil change. Fast forward to needing an oil change, I take their estimate to get the oil pan replaced. They call me back and emphatically stated I don't need an oil pan replacement and need my radiator replaced for $700. I reluctantly believed them. "My mechanic worked on cars 15 years and doesn't recommend an oil pan replacement" is what Tire Kindgom advised. Fast forward 3 weeks from Tire Kingdom telling new I don't need a new oil pan....looks like my oil pan needs to be replaced. See picture. 2.) (same service date as above issue) My car needed the front light reflector replaced. Tire Kingdom said they ordered the part and I placed a $50 deposit. $200+ for parts and labor is my estimate. 7 business days pass by without a call the part arrived. I take my car to A and A auto collision, the owner quotes me $60 for labor and told me to buy the part online so he doesn't have to mark the part up. I call Tire Kingdom and confirm they never even ordered my part. Highly recommend taking your business to Tires Plus on Kennedy or S. Dale Mabry. read more

The service from the people who work here is great. I made an online appointment to avoiding waiting. I just wanted a synthetic oil change. My appointment time was at 10am. It's 11am & they just pulled my car into the shop. I would advise they help their customers who have appointments prior to people walking in, or schedule accordingly or not let someone make an appointment if they aren't able to be taken at that time.
