I scheduled a tire rotation appointment online with Tire Kingdom and arrived on time for my appointment. When I got there, the associate told me they could not perform the tire rotation because my truck was "lifted." I explained multiple times that my truck is not lifted and is completely stock height, but he continued insisting it was against company policy for them to work on lifted trucks. I then asked him to show me where this policy was posted. He said he would check and went to the back room. When he came back, he admitted he could not find any posting, but still claimed it was company policy and refused to service my vehicle. Despite explaining again that the truck is standard height, the manager on duty still refused to accept it for a simple tire rotation. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. The staff member was rude and unable to explain or show the policy he kept referencing. Overall, it seemed like they simply did not want to do the work. Very poor customer service and a disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I needed five new tires for my 5th wheel Rv. I called around different tire dealers and all but tire kingdom told me that I should go to a Rv dealer. Dan @tire kingdom said they could do the installation of the tires outside since my Rv could not get in the building. That experience went so well that I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for my GMC Sierra pickup truck too. Tim @tire kingdom was very accommodating with my needs and time schedule. He also suggested that they should also do a transmission flush and fluid change. All in all I'm very pleased with the customer service and the work of the technicians. I will definitely continue to use them for future routine maintenance. And highly recommend them to others. I went to Tire Kingdom to fix a slow leak on my wife's BMW. In 15 minutes they gave us a picture showing the source of the leak (a small brad had punctured the tire). They explained how the patch would be applied and in 15 minutes the job was done. I went to pay the billl and it was NO CHARGE. I'm a customer for life. These guys are great! read more

Requested tire rotation. No charge as tire rotations covered under purchase. When I picked up car I was told their mechanic inspected my car and found my radiator was leaking as was my AC system. They would charge ~$2300 to repair them. I have a 2011 Toyota Camry with 96K mile. Venice Toyota changed my radiator fluid 3 months ago and sad was everything was fine. I monitored my fluids and found no loss of radiator fluid and no problem with AC after 4 weeks. I've always has my tires rotated there and never had was told a mechanic inspected my car. This may be a new thing as Tire Kingdom was bought by another company. Beware of their repair recommendations. read more

I was told my scheduled oil change would be completed in a hour when I handed them my keys at 10:00am on 1/31/2023. When I came back from a 45 minute walk, I was impressed, for a short moment;) to see my car back in the spot I parked with the plastic seat cover on it. I went inside to pay, and possible get a quote for tires as my car has 35,000 miles on it. " Wow! You were fast!" "NO, we didn't even get to it yet!!!" I have one day off a week to get stuff done! I took my keys and left! Last time, I had an appointment here they said I was an hour late. No, Showed them my appointment confirmation email. They blamed it on their computer system! DONE here! I made an appointment over the phone and had to secure the appointment with $25 over the phone. Which I thought was ridiculous. I get there and they tell me 90 minutes tops it's been over 3 hours and then they ask me to come back in a couple days for the alignment, I'm like are you kidding. NO, I'm not coming back in 2 days, do it now, so that was another 30 minutes. There was another gentleman that waited over 5 hours and the employee was rude to them. My guy was at-least apologetic to me. I think they try to book too many appointments and can't handle the workload. read more

I had bought tires from them a few months back. I started having a problem with my passenger side wheel. I spoke to the manager Matt and he said no problem we will take a look at it. Matt advised me a half hour later that the tire had a defect in it and he was going to replace it for free. I found Matt to be a very honest person, he could have just said that the tire was no good and you need to purchase another one. I will tell all my friends and neighbors to go there. Tire Kingdom Venice at 41 and 776 is now under new ownership and the customer service is terrible. Back in March 2023, I bought tires for my car. Customer service was great at the time. I purchased the road hazard warranty for the tires. In February this year, I had a nail in my tire that was unrepairable. Both mileage and time since tire purchase fell within the warranty stipulations. They (now under new ownership) did everything they could to avoid honoring the warranty. And this was after scheduling an appointment to replace the tire under warranty and arriving only to be told I have no appointment when I showed up. After having a negotiation that should have never been happening about honoring the warranty, they finally agreed to a reasonable price followed by telling me my car could never be serviced there again. I've never seen anything quite this slimy and nasty before. If I can save even one person from having this kind of bad experience, it's worth it. read more

Highly recommend! Made an appointment with Marc at the East Venice Ave location. My Wrangler needed a new battery and was told it would take about an hour. 20 minutes later received a call from Marc that one of the technicians had a few minutes and replaced my battery in between jobs! I bought my tires here a few years ago. When purchased I bought the extended warranty which included road hazard, and rotation and balancing. I booked my appointment online (today), and the booked appointment reflected no charge as expected. I was going to have the alignment checked, and pay as needed for that. I showed up for the appointment, and after a bit their rep informed me that it would cost over $130 for the rotation, balance check, and alignment check. I reminded him that I had already paid for this when I bought the tires. He told me that Mavis does not honor what was purchased prior to their take over. He said Tire Kingdom just added it on, and I didn't pay for it. Big lie ! Garbage move by Mavis. I have bought a ton of tires there. No more. If I am going to pay twice I'll find somewhere a bit better. In the past I had to take work back, but at least they were honest. The manager I dealt with in the past is not longer there. As former mechanic I cannot state enough how disappointed I am with this store. I bought a car at auction and had it brought to another mechanic for repairs. She diagnosed and fixed a few problems but one. The one was a severe shaking on the car from the front left area of the car. I brought the car to TK and I was quoted $1300 to fix the shaking from the front end. I knew this had to be horsesh!t because of the mechanic I brought it to beforehand went thru the car well. So I called TK back and had them do a 19.95 tire rotation from back to front. Guess what, it worked and had only minor shaking. Problem wasn't motor and transmission mounts and a bad wheel bearings. It was simply a wheel that had hit a curb and was out of round. 2000 miles later the car is here in Minnesota. I told a dinner party that night about the averted ripoff and all the guests have put Tire Kingdom on thier do not go to list. read more

The appointment for getting four tires was 12:00! I'm on time, write up goes fast and was very professional. I was scheduled as a "wait for the car" customer which, based on what I was told, mine is a dedicate time slot to prevent delays. Oh, well that didn't go well. The first tire was put on the rim at 2:40pm. That's right, two hours and forth minutes to get to the first tire. What was odd was the tires came off the car very quickly. And they sat. And sat! And sat! In the meantime, no contact with the service writer unless I approached him. There was no "sorry about the delay. This shows a massive disrespect for the time of the customer. It's a nice shop, very clean and comfortable. But with theses kind of delays I won't be back. read more

I called with a "nail in the tire" issue on Thursday and tried to look for a last minute appointment. I was informed that they were fully booked out for the next few days but I could come in as a "drop in" the next day and they would try to squeeze us between scheduled appointments. We arrived at 8:30 and left the car there. We received a call a little after 10 letting us know the tire had been repaired.. Perfect timing AND the cost was $10 less than I was quoted ($21 and change was the total). We were 100% satisfied and we have no problem returning. Scheduled an appointment for 10am. Asked how long it would and was told 30- 40 minutes. I said, wow that's fast. She said we have 4 guys working today. I walked over to Wawa & sat outside for an hour watching my car not move. Went in the waiting room & sat for another 10 minutes before asking about the status of my car. The woman said I was next. I reminded her my appointment was for 10am. She left & came back telling me the car before mine took longer than anticipated. I asked for my keys back & she said the guy is going to get your car right now. Instead of admitting they forgot my car, they lied. No way were they getting my business now . Got in my car & called the store to complain. Told her they didn't even offer an apology and she said "ok". Still no apology offered. Told her they lost a customer and she Saud "ok". Still no apology offered.... and she's the manager. Terrible customer service. I've been a customer of this location for several years, bought my tires from them, but will not go back. Made an appointment a week in advance for their on line special oil change. Appointment was confirmed which I printed a copy of. Arrived day and time of my appointment and was told they had no record of it in their system. I showed them my printed copy of confirmation. They said if I wanted to hang around for three hours I could get my oil change. I told them that that was unacceptable since I had a confirmed appointment and had adjusted my own schedule around that. Also who knows if they would even get to it in 3 hours. They offered little apology or said at the very least they would reschedule me another day at a discount for the mixup. I left very displeased and went to a nearby competitor with no problem. When I posted this on my community website their were others who had similar issues with them. I will not return to this business. read more

Venice Strong! Our area was just put to the test by Hurricane Ian. A week later and many are still without power. People are picking up the pieces (physically picking up the pieces) of their torn up homes. Debris is everywhere and causing plenty of tire issues. I took a metal screw nail to my tire last night. Dropped off my car this morning. Tire Kingdom patched it up for me. When I went to pick it up this evening, I was told their machines were down and to not worry about the bill. My wife took her car in for routine maintenance including tire rotation and alignment. When she got it back it had a new noise in the front passenger side. When she took it back to Tire Kingdom they said the noise was because she needed new brakes. Interesting that the noise only started after their work and they didn't mention anything about brakes when they had it initially. We will get it looked and if needed fixed elsewhere.
