I took the car to the tore shop where they checked the tire to find two holes and the tire filled with fix a flat. These tires are run flat tires with the foam run flat liner. These fix a flat ate the foam liner causing it to delaminate from the tire and ruin it. When I contacted Omar about this he denied it and everything short of told me to kick rocks. I didn't have an appointment, so the wait was about five hours, but I didn't mind at all. There are plenty of stores nearby, so I knocked out all my Thanksgiving shopping while my car was being taken care of. I ended up getting a great brand of tires, and for all four, I paid under $800. That's incredible considering other places quoted me well over $1,000 for the exact same set. My tires had definitely seen better days, so this price was a blessing. This shop isn't as chaotic or overcrowded as others I've visited, which I truly appreciate. The store is spotless, the staff is knowledgeable and honest, and--big bonus--the bathrooms are super clean. The whole place has a calm, organized vibe that makes you feel you're in good hands. Huge shoutout to Discount Tire Melrose Park. Ambiance? 100. Service? Even better. Highly recommended! The service center person Chris was a huge help on the phone and when I drove in he knew exactly who I was and knew the tires I needed. They didn't have four of the tires I needed in stock but he knew what tires would work best for me. The service and knowledgeable employees there can't be beat. While you're waiting they have a nice reception area to relax in. As well, there's no end f restaurants and stores or malls to walk to in the neighborhood.
