My tire size is hard to find in any store. Typically I will have to call somewhere, they'll order them, and I'll have to make an appointment. I was in a pickle and needed a new tire ASAP, and Tire Warehouse in Fitchburg had four of the exact tires I was looking for. So if you drive a sportier car and need tires, they may be able to help. On Wednesday, March 5, I had a flat, and AAA said my spare had a slow leak, so I went to Tire Warehouse immediately. I had been there several times before and received good service. I was astonished that there was trash all over the place, both inside and out - not a good omen. They did not have the tire size I needed, so ordered one for me. I gave them both my home and cell# since I had to drive a friend to an md appointment at noon the following day - hoping to get the new tire before I left. I received no call all day on either phone, nor text. On Friday, I went there again. My friend had to enter the work space to get someone to help me, and he just went back and nothing happened. Again my friend entered the work space, and finally, someone came out to the customer area. He said they had my tire, but were short-handed, and couldn't put it on just then. I patiently left the wheel with them, asking them to call me when they had it ready to put on my car. Again, no contact all day long. Sunday after church, I arrived for the 3rd time. As I headed toward the entrance, 3 men came out of the work door and asked what I needed - 3! I had a sense that they really didn't want me entering into the business area. (but I could be wrong) I explained that they had ordered a tire for me, were unable to put it on Friday, and I had left the wheel with them. The spokesperson looked panicked, saying "We have your wheel?" I felt pretty panicked as well. No one had put my name on it, nor created a work order for it. He was able to find it, and then asked. "Now, what do you want me to do?" (as if that wasn't obvious) I told him I wanted him to put it on my car and then check the spare for the leak. When I told him I hadn't paid for the new tire yet, he said that he couldn't help me because he "didn't have the codes," by which I believe he meant he couldn't process my payment. By the way, the sign said "Open." I was out of grace and told him to put my tire in my hatch and to keep the tire that they had ordered. I drove away. I have never experienced such bad service and such ridiculous behavior in my life. read more

So with new management I decided to give this place a try again, since they have a location in both the city where I live and the city where I work, in case I have a problem with a tire. That was a major mistake. They have constant turnover of inexperienced staff. One entered my tire rotation as a flat repair which it was not and they aren't responding on fixing this, which voids my warranty. Speaking of the warranty, they sold me a plan never disclosing to me I needed to buy a second plan to actually get them to handle any warranty issues as well as any road hazards. The tires they sold me are supposed to be good for 60,000 miles but after 15,000 miles and regular rotations (the manager acknowledges the wear is even) they are over half gone and they won't handle a warranty claim for me when the time comes, I must deal with Goodyear myself. So no service on the junk tires they sold me and they won't fix their error on listing a tire rotation as a flat repair so I can't handle it myself. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more

The store manager at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would recommend steering clear from this location before they offer a "complimentary alignment" for your vehicle resulting in not being able to steer correctly again. Great place and service. Pulled up with a slow leak on a very cold Sunday morning, someone came out immediately and asked what was wrong. I explained that I has a slow leak, they were working on the car before I even got inside to start paperwork. All employees were extremely friendly, work was covered under warranty. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and I brought it in without and appointment and was helped immediately by the manager on duty. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and managed to get me in and out with a fixed tire in 10 minutes, and didn't even charge me for the service!!! They offer online appointment scheduling and hours on Saturday. Neither are true. I arrived for my 3 pm appointment to find they were closed. The posted hours say they're open until 6. No one was on call to answer the phone when I called to ask if they were returning. If they can't be trusted to honor hours and appointments, I can imagine what they do with their tire warranties. Awful service! Broke a lug nut, never apologized, and had to send us to Leominster to get another one where we had to wait hours to get it put on. Rude people who don't understand that the money they support their families with comes from other hardworking individuals whose time is just as valuable as theirs--at something like $100 per hour! First off, the tires were filthy! After they switched over my snows to my all-seasons, my wheels had tire glue all over them! You're telling me that you can't wipe it off with a cloth and a little rubbing alcohol before the customer comes back? Second, they left a sizeable chip in the clear coat on my front right wheel! Are you ******* kidding me?! So, I paid $80 for Tire Warehouse to damage one of my new alloy wheels. Great! I'm also certain that they've cross-threaded and over tightened my lugs too. The people working there know the basics of how to switch over tires and wheels, and THAT'S ABOUT IT! The place is filthy and the people are unfriendly. So, great! I saved some money on my tires getting switched over. However, that money that I saved, and more out of my own pocket, will have to go to refinishing the wheel that these ***** ruined! Had tires shipped here from tire rack and was called and notified they had arrived asked if they had time to mount and balance, guy I spoke with said yes told him ill be down bout hr mad it down wasn't any cars being worked out guys were just sitting outside smoking, walked in and from the start already knew it was gonna be a hassle by why guy asked what I wanted told him I had tore delivered and already asked for mount and balance he tells me to pull my car into spot 2 which I had already did do to what I'd assume to be personal vehicles taking all the parking spots for their weren't any customers cars being worked on more customers in store but then right off the rip he says prices changed what they had told me online to mount tires weren't the price I then asked why didn't he say that on the phone now I came down with my son in his car seat 2 extra wheels in a 4 door sedan from 2 towns over just to be upped on prices, told guy ill just take them even though I can't even take them cause they won't fit with my kid in the car so leaves me in a tight spot and feel like i have no choice but to get the tires mounted I didn't feel safe leaving with my son and wires showing from the tires so I agree to the $107. price i was told from the original $82. And he keept pushing and pushing to show me the screen after I had agreed to his price up whats it gonna be he said its gonna be 107 but I can do it for 103.. if that makes any sense but then I said its whatever I have no choice now not like I can just take my tires and go i got my kid in the car and i already said I'm pay cash in hand counting out the 107 and he just looks at me and says you can take your tires and go... Just terrible. Rude and incompetent. They add in road hazard insurance without asking, sold me 6 year old tires, left off the valve caps, poorly balanced, and no nitrogen which they didn't mention. Lastly they scratched my wheels installing the tires and filled one at 30psi and one at 45psi. The only positive was the short wait. Now I know why. read more

First time in 20 years i had a problem with tire warehouse,untill today,I went in saturday to have tires mounted and was told i needed an appointmeny. Understandable.So i make appointment for monday at 4 pm to have tires mounted and balanced. So i get there at 3:45 to be considerate ,The manager said give me keys so i did i sat and watch him take 5 other people in front of me without appointment so i went outside and take a break from sitting for over an hour and the manager comes out with keys to a car that just got there and gave me a dirty look and when he pulled up in front of where i was standing he gave me another look thats when i asked for my keys he said what you dont want to wait i took the keys and left. never had a problem before.never going back. read more

The customer service at this establishment was atrocious. Both my boyfriend and I encountered the same man who was condescending and dismissive. When I called on the phone to ask a question about their price comparison policy he had the nerve to try and dumb down the tire talk by relating tires to pies. In the middle of a snow storm I called we needed 2 new tires . I had to wait for a few hours , but I got my tires . The gentleman @ the desk was so helpful knowledgeable about his job . These poor men are out in the cold and snow putting on ur tires under a carport type bay . I was enticed by their tire prices, but the Manager John's customer service is really lacking. Aside from having to wait multiple times while he answered and made phone calls- one minute he was telling me it was ok to have a tire pressure light on during inspection, and the next he is telling me I NEED to fix it because as of next year I won't pass inspection. They still had a fee for tire recycling on my invoice even though I kept the old tires, and John argued with me for a good five minutes that he gave me a "discount" that was more than enough to cover that fee (my bill was as quoted- more even- WHAT discount?!). He STILL has not refunded me the fee, he told me to come back tomorrow to have the lug nuts tightened and he would give me money then. I'm also now seeing an $80 charge for a tire protection plan- I WAS NOT GIVEN AN OPTION TO DECLINE. All that being said, the employee who actually did the labor was very nice and recommended I keep the old tires for summer use because they were still pretty good. read more
