Couldn't get through to them - kept getting connected to someone in the Philippines or put on hold with no pick-up. When I finally got through, they said they had not record of the purchase. 2010 Subaru Forester SERVICE: new tires, brakes, rotors, struts PROS: (1) Work done in a reasonable amount of time CONS: (1) Relatively young and inexperienced workers. Interpersonal skills somewhat lacking. Did not inspire a lot of confidence. (2) Was recommended new tires (Nexen CP672) that should not have been recommended. Researched afterwards and found that reviews were unanimous in that these tires were not to be used in wintry conditions. I live in Vermont, so will try to survive the next two or three winters before replacing.   (3) Was not informed about waiting area (hidden behind row of tires). Instead, sat on dirty worker's chair outside of building. (4) Advertisement on counter says free check of battery, brake lines, belts, fluids, filters, and more. Upon inquiry, however, told that Tire Warehouse only checks battery. That's false advertising. Will try Brattleboro Tire next time. read more

I scheduled an appointment online and when I arrived the rude desk person basically said "Huh?". Then, I asked how much to mount and balance per tire, I was told $30 per tire with disposal. Then, when I told him I had my own tires to mount, he said it would be $208.00 to mount and balance 4 tires - without disposal. I immediately went to PETE'S TIRE BARN, right across the road, and got a price at $25.00 per tire! I immediately scheduled an appointment at Pete's for tomorrow. Simply put, If you're in the Brattleboro area and need tires mounted, DO NOT use tire warehouse, just go right across the street to clean and friendly and reasonably priced Pete's Tire Barn. Remember that was well over $200 to mount and balance 4 tires vs $100 at Pete's. read more

The online appointment system doesn't work. Don't use it! They won't be able to honor online appointments most days. They rarely answer the phone, so you have to drive in to make an appointment. The service is fine once you get it, but the wait may be long. They are always short staffed. read more

I had a really good experience here recently. The tire light on my wife's vehicle was coming on after we swapped over to the summer wheels/tires. Of course, the light came on about a week after the swap. (The swap was done by another facility.) We came in on a Saturday with no appointment. I headed inside and was told it would be a few minutes before they could look at the vehicle. Not bad considering there were a few folks in front of me. Long story short, we had a bad sensor. It was $50 to replace and from arrival to departure was 40 minutes. Not bad at all since we just stopped in on a whim. They removed the wheel, dismounted the tire, installed the new sensor remounted the tire, aired it up, remounted the wheel/tire and programmed the new sensor. The icing on the cake for this shade tree mechanic: They used a torque wrench to torque the lugs down. Most places hit it with the impact wrench until it's tight...then hit it again to ensure it's tight. I would come here again! read more

It was a very rainy Monday holiday and the warehouse was closing but a worker (wish I knew his name) ran out and tried to help my husband but trying to jump the battery. I went here today for snow tires. These guys were very helpful and professional. I am visiting Vermont until April and I'm from Mississippi, so needless to say, I was not prepared to drive in this snow. I called on Monday to inquire about snow tires, but the size I needed for my Buick Enclave were not in stock and had to be ordered. They ordered them on Monday and the tires were there today, Tuesday and I had them installed. They were quick and friendly. Ed, the guy at the register was amazing. I plan to return to The Tire warehouse in April to have my other tires placed back on my truck before I return back to Mississippi. Great job guys. I would recommend you all any day. I have always been treated really well here. Their tires are always fairly priced. And they take especially good care of their regular customers. This morning, I swapped the winter tires (already mounted on separate rims) onto my wife's car at home. One of the tires was completely flat; had a leak along the bead. So I knew it needed to be remounted and balanced. I called up TW, and Walter said they could squeeze me in because of the urgent nature of my wife needing the car for travel. And this despite their heavy workload with all the winter changeovers this time of year. They got me right in and taken care of quickly. Most surprising, they didn't charge me, even though I hadn't bought the tires and wheels there. "You're a regular, don't worry about it." I'm not promising that they would do that for every customer. But I feel it's indicative of their overall approach to business. read more

In Vermont to see fall colors, one wheel was low on air. Somehow, my tire stem had a stainless steel cap on it. My wheels are aluminum and electrolysis fused the two different metals together. Attempting to unscrew the cap meant the whole stem was coming out of the wheel. After a phone call. I decided to take a risk, drive one hour, and see if these guys could help me. WHEW! On a holiday weekend Saturday, these guys were open when most others were closed. They took off the wheel, got off the cap, checked for leaks, found none, put air in all 4 tires, and put the right kind of caps on. The owner wouldn't let me pay anything, but I gave the workers a tip to share. How much better can a place be!!! read more

My wife went in to change out snow tires for summer ones. She went to this business because they were taking customers on a first come first serve basis and she needed to have studded tires removed before starting on a long trip. Replacement tires were in opaque bags to avoid soiling the vehicle and so owner was unaware of that their tread wear was dangerously low. Tire Warehouse simply swapped tires without advising her of their condition. On the next day, she experienced a blowout on an Interstate highway in PA. Fortunately no injury or damage occurred; however, that was luck. This also caused considerable delay as tires needed to be replaced since all were worn. Mechanics involved all agreed that tire wear was quite obvious and this customer should have been advised of their dangerous condition. read more

I'm not overly impressed or disappointed, just feel ambivalent about the shop. The staff is responsive when I have an issue but I've been here three times in the two months I've had my new tires. The first time I had a valve stem issue which they fixed for free. The most recent time was to get my tires re-balanced. My problem is that I think these things are due to the care, or lack of, by the techs. Whether or not it's true, it doesn't make me want to recommend Tire Warehouse for new tires. The staff are all helpful and willing to correct the problems, but should there be this many problems with new tires? read more

Saved us! We were leaving Vermont en route to NY on a Sunday in driving rain and fog when we notice our tire was torn. AAA was no help nor was BMW. We found Tire Warehouse and they were open. Cheap tires. Cant avoid overhearing manager as he delivers a loud, unwarrantes and angry transphobic lecture to a customer at the front desk. "We are scientifically only born with two variations of sex chromosomes, XX, and XY." (This is a FALSE statement.) And he continued "So if I see a cross-dresser walking into the girls bathroom we have a serious issue." That sounds like a threat. Their bathroom is unisex anyway, splattered in pee, and with trash overflowing all over the floor. I pulled into my driveway yesterday morning to find air leaking out of my back tire aggressively. I was torn between sitting there and figuring things out or crawling over to the dealership where I got my car from. I decided to hit the highway and just crawl, the light hadn't come on yet so I figured I had time. I got to the roundabout almost 30 seconds away from the dealership I go to, then I had a sudden urge to just push forward and try another minute to head to tire warehouse. I got there at eight in the morning, they told me to pull right up and immediately started working on the car. I had been thinking about purchasing tires the past couple weeks anyways so I asked how much four Yokohama tires would be and if they even had time to do that today. They were more than willing to do it right away and ended up giving me a really great price on four Yokohama tires. They were extremely quick really great and nice and explained everything to me in thorough detail. I have no need to go anywhere else from now on they will be getting my business 100% from here on out. I highly recommend everyone in the area give them a try! read more
