I thought maybe I'd messed up my alignment and I called JB Auto. They were well aware of this kind of issue and assured me that washing it well at the car wash would fix everything. After trying a quick wash, I was still seeing the shaking steering wheel, so I called to setup an appointment. They told me to try it again and be more thorough with my cleaning and it did indeed clear everything up. I post this just to point out the honesty and decency that they displayed. She went in on her own- and is older, so seemingly naive, right? DAN told her it was in the sidewall and that she needed FOUR new tires (not just two for the front). Her tires weren't old at all. She ordered them for arrival and told me what had transpired. Well, I just knew that screw was not in the sidewall. It was nowhere NEAR! So I asked her to go to Tire Warehouse, where they confirmed as much, and patched it for nothing. Pretty sure they refused to charge her. She canceled the tires Dan ordered, which turned out to be poor quality anyhow. What a disappointing experience. Shame on you, Dan!!

Interpersonal skills somewhat lacking. Did not inspire a lot of confidence. (2) Was recommended new tires (Nexen CP672) that should not have been recommended. Researched afterwards and found that reviews were unanimous in that these tires were not to be used in wintry conditions. I live in Vermont, so will try to survive the next two or three winters before replacing.   (3) Was not informed about waiting area (hidden behind row of tires). Instead, sat on dirty worker's chair outside of building. (4) Advertisement on counter says free check of battery, brake lines, belts, fluids, filters, and more. Upon inquiry, however, told that Tire Warehouse only checks battery. That's false advertising. Will try Brattleboro Tire next time.
