I've purchased tires twice before my last visit. They are amazing! I missed going there since I moved to northern california a few years ago. I had some business in LA coming up and waited to get my tires, brakes and tune up done here. They went way above expectations in every way. I got the best quality brakes, tires and other parts for the best price imaginable. They walked me through every step of the way explaining what needed to be done and showing me the used parts they replaced while teaching quite a lot about the mechanics of my car. I felt like they treated me like part of their family. Everyone here was super friendly, caring and genuine about their work and cost to repair. I don't care if I do have to drive down 7 hours, but I'll always be coming back to Tires by Stan! Oh and I almost forgot, since the last time I was here, they expanded and remodeled. Now they offer nearly every service your car may need, and their waiting area is very fancy and comfy. Go there!!

I was driving along Sepulveda after picking up RX for my parents, and I noticed my tired when from 35 psi to 15 psi so quickly. I panicked and automatically turned into the nearest tire store I could see. I was greeted by a kind gentleman named Alex. He said the wait would be awhile since he had 4 cars ahead of me. However, I didn't even wait that long. He took my car in and patched it up. Service was quick and amazing. He was so attentive and kind. The waiting area smells so fresh, cute race car decor, and is super clean. Check-in to receive $5 off on flat tire repair was another plus. Thank you so much!

I called a number of places on the Westside and in the Valley. Stan's had the best prices and just about the highest rating for tire installation and alignment. They were also the easiest to deal with on the phone. When I had the work done they were very efficient and very friendly. You can tell that the staff likes working here! I will be back for sure Definitely worth driving to the Valley to go to Stan's. read more

Love this place! Not the first time I've had a tired replaced here, but this morning they didn't replace it, they patched it! As a grey-haired old lady, I am SO grateful that they removed the spare, patched my tire and sent me on my way. $20 later, I am a VERY happy customer! Driving in L.A. being what it is, I'm sure I'll need another tire in the not very distant future, and I'll be back art Stan's Tires for sure!!!! read more

Usually buy my tires in south la or other parts of Los Angeles since I always find better pricing but this place has the best deals hands down(in the greater valley area). Called and got a great quote off the bat. Passed by five other tire shops trying to get a better quote but they only managed to nearly match or sightly beat their prices by offering me cheap inferior tires. Got myself Two tires installed, balanced, and aligned all for $200.00. Amazing deal.!!!! Definitely recommending you guys to everyone. :) Btw, they're friendly, organized, provide excellent service and pricing. Recommend this spot. read more

I was about to go to a holiday party Saturday evening when I found I had a flat tire. Clearly, a screw was the culprit. I managed to get the spare on & still go out. I had a service package, but they weren't open til Monday. So, I made an appt online for after work. Well, turned out my tire was too worn out to be repaired. The service rep recommended a more popular size set of new tires to get a better deal since a couple other tires were not far off from needing to be replaced. Having spent nearly a grand in maintenance already, I wasn't up for a snap decision on new tires. I like to shop around, too. Thankfully, a friend had recommended Stan & I still had his business card. He answered the phone which was nice and told me to come on by before 5:30pm. I went straight over & thankfully, didn't even have to wait! Elmer guided me right into an open stall, and answered my questions on tires. Jose came over, too, then went to see what they had in stock. They were very accomodating, and had a good used tire. Stan give me a great deal, so now I've got a little more time to decide on which new tires to get. Thanks a bunch, Stan! I'll be in touch again. read more

I went to this tire shop since they had the best deals advertised in the valley. Stan "the man" gave me a great deal on 4 tires, installed and balanced within 1/2 hour. The guys who works for him are nice and efficient. One guy removes the tires as the other installs it on the rim and balances it. They work simultaneously to get the job done...no messing around! Stan is a straight shooter....no bs kinda guy! I'll definitely come back to this place. I recomment this place highly. This tire shop ROCKS! read more

I really recommend Tire and Wheels by Stan. The customer service is so friendly and kind. As soon as I pulled up I'm greeted and they make sure to let me know they haven't forgotten about me and checking with me every 5 minutes which is very reassuring and wonderful. The owner Stan is a great man who wants to get you the best offer on tires and service over all. I really appreciate kindness these days because it is so hard to find. They put on a spare so that I could drive while they ordered the new tires and had them in the next morning to get them on. Overall great business that I will always support. On several occasions he's helped my wife & I with tire 'challenges' and no matter how busy he is ( & he is!!) he's always been able to squeeze us in & take care of things. I went in to Stan's today and i was a little lite on cash, Since they didn't have my tire model used he was able to work with me and sold me 2 new tires for a great price! I'm very pleased with his fairness and wonderful service. The 2 gentleman who did the labor where very good and super nice! Now I see why Stan has a successful business for over 50 years!! The only place I'll go to for any of my tire needs! I got a nail in my tire, and after being told by a chain auto repair store that the tire couldn't be patched and I'd need to replace all four of my tires for $400+ (!!) I called Stan and he told me to come over. My tire was patched and I was on my way within ten minutes. Everyone was very kind and friendly, and the work was done quickly! My tires DO need to be replaced soon because the treads are very worn down, and when I do I'll be going right back to Stan! It's so hard to find someone who's both kind and trustworthy (someone else, like the chain I originally went too, would have tried to get me to do something expensive and unnecessary, instead of the easiest and cheapest solution), but Stan is both! read more

The BEST tire place EVER! Not only did Stan and his staff provide me with great pricing for a tire replacement, but they also gave excellent customer service! I especially liked how Stan invited me and my puppies in his office and we were able to have a little bit of small talk about animals and the opportunity that my husband and I have in moving out of state. Went out to find a nail in my tire. Found this place on google. They greeted me and asked what happened then got right to work. Really really friendly staff. They offered me water as it was really hot outside. They provide affordable used tires which is an excellent option. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Went here with a broken lug I couldn't remove my tire. I thought they would charge me extra but he didn't in fact he took off the lug. They put a patch on the tire and charged me $20 then Stan himself gave me $6 out of his pocket abs said lunch on me. Very nice very professional. I recommend anyone in the area in need of a tire to stop by. read more

Tires by Stan is one of the best ( if not the best) places in Los Angeles area. Came here to replace a tire for a mustang and they gave me an awesome deal. Used tire ( that looked brand new ) for $30 including installation and balancing. Those guys are very professional and pleasure to work with. They work hard. I'm very happy with their service. When I went to pay Stan gave me $5 back ( for breakfast ) lol. Going to come back and get my brakes done as well. Thank you. read more

All 4 tires on my 2019 Audi were in need of replacement. Called Tires by Stan to see if they had used tires (lease ending within year). Moe took my info and called me back within 10 minutes to confirm they had the required tires in stock. Drove down same day and team changed out tires in 20 minutes. Tires had 50%+ life left in them and were a fraction of the price of buying new. Great service - would highly recommend them for your tire needs read more

I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

I called about ten places before deciding where to go and I hate to say that I based my decision entirely on one guy being nice... but that's mostly what I did. When I dropped my car off I met Arthur (owner?)... same. Can we get back to my car? My car (2019 Audi Q5) suddenly lost a lot of power while I was driving home (but still 30 miles away) so I was able to get it back home but had no clue as to why it was kind of doggin' it and I couldn't go more that 50 mph on freeway and between warning lights and the general understanding of how much car repair costs, I figured this could be $300 to $2000. Matt tells me they want to do a "smoke test"... $150 so I'm thinking, OK, smoke test then $1,000 to repair whatever issue they find. Nope. Smoke test showed a part adjacent to the turbocharger was loose so they tightened it up. Who gets out of a car repair shop for $150? Anyway... this isn't a HUGE shop with 8 bay and 12 mechanics but it's your reliable corner mechanic that has nice people, transparent communications and a clean shop. And it's the only place I'm going for the foreseeable future.

Horrible experience! Do NOT go to Stan. I don't know where he came where it's acceptable to treat your customers the way he did but this is ridiculous. He told me it was $50 for a used tire, which is a bit pricey but whatever, I agreed. He showed me a very nice tire that he was going to put on and I felt like alright, it's worth 50. THE MOMENT I stepped away from the car to take a phone call is where everything changed. He put the tire that he showed me aside and installed a different one. A completely erased tire. Useless inside and out. When I confronted him he told me that's the original tire he showed me. After arguing with the r*tard for nearly an hour he agreed to put the original tire he showed me on. Took his sweet time too. After wasting about 2 hours of my time it's time to ring me up, he had the NERVE to tell me my total is $110! According to his logic, he's charging me for the labor! He has the nerve to charge me for labor for installing the destroyed tire. After haggling back and forth I threw $50 at him and drove away. I will NEVER go back there again. I recently had an exceptional experience with this company, and I want to highlight their outstanding service, especially in the realm of tires and rims. From the owner's unwavering dedication to the friendly voices answering the phones to the highly skilled service team - they genuinely impressed me. Allow me to share a personal experience: my wife's car had a flat tire on a Friday close to 6 pm, and we were set to drive out of town that night. I called them, and Avo, the owner, personally answered even though they were already closed. He insisted I bring the car in, and he would wait. I took it there, and although they didn't have the exact brand, Avo promptly replaced it with a good used tire, getting us back on the road over the weekend. The quality of their work on my tires and rims was outstanding, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend them for all your automotive needs. Being in LA it is very easy to get taken advantage of when it comes to your vehicle. I mean let's be honest we are in our vehicles more than our own house/apartments( most of us at least). Well I have to give a super high five to the wonderful gentlemen at Stan's! Not only were they so wonderfully helpful and sweet, but put on a tire fast and efficiently! Stan has Passed away July 2025 :( he was a dear friend and I was a happy customer for over 25 yrs. He gave the best deals, used tires $20-40 and he was alway. Stan died from stage 4 cancer. He is a leader in the industry. I stopped by 3 other places al everyone knew he had passed. Looks like Lopez and sons has good deals $50 used 18" they're on sepulveda. I'm once again pleased with Tires by Stan. I bought a used tire from them and less than a week later I ran over a bent steel bar that penetrated my tire. which was unrepairable since the steel bar ended up sticking out through the side of the tire. So with that being discovered, I'd figure I would have to pay for another used tire. But Stan was so awesome, he just gave me another tire and told me not to worry about it. I of course tipped the guy who helped me out and I was well on my way! Thanks Stan! read more

Awesome place they got me in and out very quickly and the prices are super awesome This is not a commercialized place it's very hidden but the gentlemen here knew exactly what do . I came in with a spare tire on my Honda Crosstour and at first just needed one tire after finding out one tire will be $35 .. I opted to get 2 front tires amazing deal two tires for $70 and they were open on a Sunday. Love this place I will be going back for two more tires.. read more

You can tell all these reviews are fake. Stan is nothing more than a thieve and a liar. Took my car there for a new tire ended up with a dent on my rim. Then he started screaming at me saying I already had a dent. When you can clearly see the car was bought straight from the dealer no more than a week ago. I should have gone to pep boys or something. WORST WORST WORST. Stan Is amazing his employees unprofessional lazy pricks I hate the service they provide one of the employees scratched my rim came to me and said " hey sir if we scratch your rim we're not responsible" LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS ? Nice place. Guys are very welcoming and very professional. Got flat tire and by the time I got to this shop walls of this tire were completely destroyed. I felt horrible! I was not ready to spend 150-160 bucks. Luckily they had the necessary size in used tires section and I end up paying just $40 for everything !!! 30 min in and out!!! Very happy!!!
