No thank you so we left we took it to Minneola auto ! They did an oil change and they fixed her tire They just patched it up they said No new tires needed! went out of their way to have my car looked at right away considering being very busy and noticed I had a slow leak due to a cracked rim which they unfortunately couldn't do anything as a tire shop to fix it but tried their hardest to seal the rim and give me great advice and on a plan to still make it home with no replacement rim. I want to thank Tom who sealed my rim temporarily and showed me where I can buy a cheap tit'd compressor to make it home Safety on a slow leak. Not exactly the place I wanted to be at 445PM on a Saturday after spending all day at softball tournaments in the brutal sun. BUT such is life and these guys were a lifesaver. Tire blew out a few miles away from the fields and I couldn't drop off the car bc it had all the equipment needed for my daughter's tournament (travel parents know what I mean lol). Today's games ended at 415 and I figured that I would have time to stop and fix a tire on my way home. Didny relize Tire Plus closed at 5:00 and I was that crazy person that showed up at last minute but they helped me. Unfortunately I ended up having to buy two tires because my other one was about to blow out but the customer service was absolutely amazing they were so patient. Tires plus of clermont probably one of the most unprofessional auto shops I have ever been too. First off, I wish the sales team and store manager at Tires Plus clermont were more friendly towards women. I have NEVER been so disrespected, and spoken down too for simply knowing what services I've had previously done to my car. The store manager Ponch Torres, was very condescending and spoke down to me as if i was a child and didnt know anything about my vehicle. He tried to make me payfull price for my Lifetime alignment, which I've already paid for and when I have the invoices showing the parts are under warranty, he still wanted to charge me full price for the services. I was shamed for "not keeping my car at one location" , when they constantly cancel or not confirm my appointments i have made previously. I contacted firestone in town since they are in partner with them for some services, and was able to get more invoices to prove i have paid for correct service before that have the warranties for both locations. Even with the firestone employee on the phone telling Ponch that he has the invoices to send he didnt want to update my account to include any of the correct information. Once I dropped of my vehicle at 815 this morning and then returned around 1030 my vehicle has still not been serviced or even put on the racks. I was informed by a sales representative that they do not go in order by appointments (as I had a 9am appointment) and I asked why my car hasn't been serviced yet as they are now servicing vehicles that have had no appointments or had later appointments. I was told that it depends on what services are being done, depends on what order they go in. I was getting a alignment and an oil change. Once I asked why my car is being serviced after a walk in requesting the same services that came after me, my car was instantly next and being put on the rack to be worked on. They dis comp my oil change without any explanation which I do appreciate, but when I asked for a receipt or invoice they didn't want to print one off for me. I would just about recommend ANY OTHER PLACE to go to instead of these people at this location. Beware. read more

Let me start off by saying I've used several Tires plus stores for my tire needs and never have I been dealt with in this manner. I made a phone call to this location around 12 noon on (5/30/2020) and spoke with a gentleman who answered the phone. I asked if they had enough time to plug/patch a tire that I have a nail in, I was responded with a yes as long as I arrived by 5pm. I live approximately 30 minutes away from this store. I left my residence and drove to this location. When I walked into the store I was greeted by a male and was asked what I needed help with. I told him and he asked if the wheel/tire was off the car or if the car was here, I responded by telling him that I had removed the wheel and tire and it was in my trunk. He smiled and said great, take it out and put in at the entrance of the bay closest to the right. I did that, walked back in the store and told him where it was. He asked if I was going to wait or come back and pick it up, I said that I'll wait since it's a quick and easy repair, he said ok and walked away. One and a half hour passes by and nothing. So I walk up to the counter and ask the gentleman how much longer, he looks at me chuckled and said, you're going to have to wait till 5pm. I walked away calmly and went outside to look at the hours of operation and saw that 5pm is when they close. I immediately went back inside and said ok, you guys have my number right? He answered yes. I said ok, can I get a courtesy call when it's done because I live 30 min away, you told me to be here at 5pm but that's when you close. He looked at me and said: No, I'm telling you to be here at 5pm so by here by 5pm Unprofessional response and treatment, I'll never go to this tires plus location ever again. Bob is great. Pretty much the entire staff is awesome; at least everyone I've interacted with. My family and I are new to the area. We just moved here from South Orlando. The first time I came here I just needed air in one tire. The mechanic was so polite, great attitude great smile. He offered to check all my tires. So awesome. The second time at this shop was due to a more serious issue. My car had a bad leak but Bob and his staff made sure to do everything they could to get it fixed. Unfortunately I had to leave my car overnight because the part wasn't available however Bob made sure to follow up and keep me updated. Overall, they were very professional. They didn't try to sell me on all these things and freak me out about all the things wrong with my car. They did share concerns and inform me of some things but didn't make it a now or never type issue. This will be my new go to shop for all my maintenance needs. read more

My husband and I were traveling from Ocala Fl to Port St Lucy Fl on Florida turnpike the check tire pressure indicator light came on we got it the turnpike and tired to find a place that could fix it. We saw tires plus in Clermon on E Hwy 50. Mined Rahim came out to check the tire well it had a nail in it plus another hole. You could actually hear the air coming out of the tire. It was 10 minutes till five on Saturday, May 14, 2022 and the store closes at five this gentleman and another employee stayed late and made sure that I had safe tires on my car so I could continue driving to Port St. Lucie with my husband for a concert that we wanted to see very badly. Terrible service. All I needed was two new tires. I have been here over 2 and a half hrs and I'm still waiting! What is really bad is that they are servicing other people that came in after I did. The staff is slow, checking their phones, chatting with sales reps, but no one seems to know how to change a tire. I'm now watching two workers having a conversation at my car but no one is changing a tire. Avoid this place. Unless you have no life and enjoy sitting in a waiting area for over 2 1/2 hours. If I could give this place a zero I would've. I went in to have 2 tires replaced. And the AC checked. The guy said they'd be done in 2 hours. I came back in two hours to find out that my vehicle was not ready because they forgot to do the ac check. They guy said I should bring it back another day because it would take 2 hours. I told him to do it and I'd wait. I then asked the gentleman which tires they replaced because one of my tires had a slow leak. They did not replace the tire with the slow leak which is why I came in in the first plAce. Then he tells me I don't have a slow leak because he "didn't see one" I went on to tell him that I have to put air in the tire every couple of days. Long story short. I ended up with 2 new tires that they put in the front. And told me to "be careful turning corners". I read the new tires should go in the back but I'm no mechanic. I don't feel safe driving my vehicle and now have to make another appointment to go get the tire that actually needed fixing fixed. On a brighter note they did do the ac check and explain what was wrong. They never offered to make an appt for repair and did not explain the quoted price. The guy told me I had a leak somewhere and he replaced the connector for no charge. I don't even know if he really did it or just said he did. I never saw the old part or the new part. This place is awful. They have no regards for your time or safety. read more

As a woman you want service with honest people, this is what I found here. I herd my brakes but they said I didn't need to replace them yet. They did a full inspection of my car and found only a AC belt needed replacing. I was shown the frayed belt that was obviously on its last leg and in need of replacement. This is my first experience here. Had a flat tire and asked them to evaluate a repair or replace the tire(s). They have 30K mileage on them. After checking the tires, the advisor told me they could repair the flat and have about 6K miles life left or replace the tires. I chose to fix the flat right now. They had the opportunity to 'convince' me to buy new tires, but gave me options. No high pressure, just facts. I was very happy with the outcome. Was in and out in an hour with a serviceable tire and a written estimate for replacing the tires down the road. They even put the spare back in the well under the cargo area. I can recommend Tires Plus, Clermont, FL. I believe they treated me in an honest and professional way. I'll be back when the time comes to buy new tires. Would be 5 stars, except they don't have the ability to fill the tires with nitrogen. I have 3 nitrogen filled and 1 air filled tire. Probably not the end of the world. Bottom line, they had a timely appointment, performed the work quickly and treated me fairly. read more
