About two months ago, My wife and her sister brought in their jeeps to swap around some Wheels and tires. My wife's Jeep is a 2026 gladiator brand new. Her sister's was a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. My wife brought in her own wheels and tires to be put on. And take the new wheels and tires and put them on the 2023. Note, my wife's off old rims wheels and tires have never been off of her other Jeep. Other than being installed by Tire Rack. This is when red flags started to appear. At the beginning of isolation one of the techs had advised my wife that they did not have the correct wheel sockets in order to remove her lug nuts. That was the first red flag. The second one was when everything was said and done. The service writer had brought up that one of her center caps were broken after the fact. I am not going to explain that part. I will just say that after speaking with the manager He did make it right and order a new one and replaced it. The situation that put the nail in the coffin was. And I should have caught this sooner but I didn't. When they went to balance her wheels and tires. The tech had put the weights on the enter part of rim, on the outside lip of the wheels. Where Tire Rack had put the weights on the center part of the wheels. For one, these wheels are solid black wheels and was in perfect Condition. Tire Rack had balanced and mounted these wheels and tires and yes, we've had them for three years. I will say it was pretty shocking that my wife kept these from having any scratches or damages on the wheels. She actually make sure that there was nothing wrong with them And kept him very clean. I am very disappointed and truly, I don't know if I can even bring myself to even trust in this place ever again. Just wanted to add a new other note. After posting this on google. This review received a response back from a Joe from discount tire. With a link to speak with them. I've just got to say that link does not even work. It's a joke as much as they are. They're just trying to show to the public that they're willing to correct the issue. But in reality, their link doesn't even work. There for they're not truly wanting to fix the issue either. Took our car in because we had a spare tire on from running over a blade or something. We didn't bring the popped tire but it's the same as the rest of them but we got told we had to bring it to put a cap over it or something. Went back home, got it, came back. They told us we had to order two new tires (not put a cap on) and it would be three hours. Great. Went back home, came back when we got the call they were ready and they say it'll be about an hour. Went around town and came back an hour later and it hadn't even been worked on yet. Have to wait another 45 minutes here. Do not recommend. Only good thing is that the people who work here are nice. read more

Yesterday on 1/21/26 I bought and had installed 4 new Continental Terrain Contact H/T 265 70 R16 tires. I LOVE them, super quiet, soft ride, deep tread , excellent on dry roads and in rain . These are equal if not better than the 3 sets of Michelin Defenders MS2 or LTX MS I had in the past. I drive a 2013 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner Dbl Cab Long Bed . Response to discount tire's response . If you read my whole review here you would see your claims department denied the claim and will not repair the damages your company caused. I recently visited discount tire in Mt.Dora for a tire rebalancing service. Wesley, the manager, was friendly and efficient, getting me in and out quickly. He even sold me a tire protection package for tires I didn't purchase from them, which I appreciated. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered damage to my wheels and lug nuts the next day. All four wheels had scratches, likely caused by a pry bar used to remove the center caps. The center caps were also scratched and crushed, and the lug nuts appeared rounded off. I contacted the store on Christmas Eve, documenting the issue, and followed up with Wesley on January 4th. Unfortunately, Wesley denied responsibility for some of the scratches, citing that they weren't deep enough to expose the aluminum that they couldn't have done that then. I found this explanation unsatisfactory, as my wheels were not scratched prior to the service. I guess we'll see if they'll take care of that issue . Moreover, Wesley claimed to have discussed the lug nut issue with me on the day of the service, which was not true. I would have remembered such a conversation, especially since I had just installed brand-new lug nuts the week before. Wesley attributed the lug nut problem to a known issue with Fords, even brand-new ones. While I acknowledge that worn-out lug nuts can be a problem, I know mine were new as I put them on myself the week before ,it's unacceptable to dismiss my concerns and refuse to replace the lug nuts they damaged. I offered to bring in used lug nuts to demonstrate that a 21mm socket fits perfectly on my old ones,but Wesley laughed and reiterated that it's a known problem. I find it disturbing that he would lie to me about discussing the lug nut issue previously which my wife was there and said the same thing there was no interaction with him after the sale. While the initial service was satisfactory, the subsequent handling of my concerns was disappointing. I hope that Discount tires will take steps to address these issues and provide better customer service in the future. Their claims department just emailed me back saying they are not responsible for the damaged to my vehicle which is not true at all. This companies corporate customer service is just as bad as their employees. read more

While I wish this trip didn't cost me nearly 700.00,I have to say for a Saturday late afternoon with the place fairly crowded,they were so well staffed (and stocked!)I was able to get what I needed.2 specialty tires that usually have to be ordered (by any tire shop),they were able to get me in and out in under 2 hours!Treated me like I was the only one in the place.these folks run that place really efficiently.Even though there were about 15 people waiting,the waiting room was clean,comfortable and social distanced seating. I purchased a set of tires 8 months ago had them rotate my tires in late December and purchased expensive wipers at same time. We haven't had rain in 2023 with fire ban in place and 7 inches behind in rain fall. Now this week we've receiving rain and the wipers completely fell apart. I went to the store and the first guy looked and said yes I will replace them, let me tell my manager. He came in and was so rude hubris person and said there are 4 month old, so it's my fault. I've never in my life have seen wipers disintegrate in use 3 times!! I will never buy anything from them again after using them for over 20 years. A tire story. Needed two front tires on the Cadillac Escalade went to Tire Kingdom, they wanted $614 out the door but initially quoted me $249 a tire but with added installation and fees total was going to be $614. I asked about veteran discount was told yes but can't tell the percentage until they totaled the ticket after payment. Told them take it off the lift and I'll pick up. Took it to Discount tires and Mr. Snow came out looked at tires and confirmed they were separating it that is a manufacturer defect, got me a pro-rated discount walked out with a total for two tires of $188. Needless to say, never will I go to Tire Kingdom again, yes to Mr. Snow at Discount tires. Refreshing to have an honest employee who regards customer service as a priority. Tire Kingdom should of told me it was a manufacturer defect and applied the credit. read more

Super service. I had a flat tire due to a stone embedded in my tire. Took the tire to Firestone on Sunday and they told me they could not repair it. So I waited until Monday and took it to Discount Tire where Ryan had my tire repaired and back on the vehicle in no time at all. Best of all they do not charge for this service. I purchased 4 new tires for my Honda Civic right before Hurricane Ian. I have always bought low cost tires in the past (usually from Tire Kingdom ) and have never had an issue before with this car (have owned for 5 years) or my last Honda Accord that I had for 12 years. OR any car before that. I immediately noticed that it feels windy out when driving on the highway. It took me several weeks before I was able to go back and have the tires checked. I was told that they would rebalance them but "if it doesn't improve you should consider an upgrade." I then spoke with the "manager", Marshall, who insisted that this is normal business practice "and that for forty dollars, ma'am, you can upgrade to a better tire". And " why do you think that if you buy a mobile home versus a house that you have to evacuate?" WHAT? I find this to be a ridiculous approach to a business transaction. This man was condescending and not interested at all in having a satisfied customer. If I just spent $400 on a new set of tires why should I have to upgrade? This indicates that the product is subpar to begin with. They supposedly "rebalanced" my tires and "put more air in". There is approximately 10% improvement. In any case, a very upsetting experience and I will never return to this branch and certainly will deter peers from shopping here. Poor salesmanship all around. This business is more concerned with "getting you in and out in an hour" than selling you a product that is satisfactory. YUK. PS. I also bought windshield wipers on my first visit that broke a few days after the hurricane. I had to go back to get a new set and was told that "two different sizes had been installed.". BUYERS BEWARE. (Especially women.) Wish I had never made this mistake. read more

I took my truck in to get new tires and 4 days later I was doing 50mph down the road and the studs broke off and almost flipped my truck because they over tightened the lug nuts. So way to go guys. This is an operation focused on SELLING Tires At Any Cost. I brought in a very expensive car to exchange the orig. Alloy Wheels for another set of OEM Chrome that had tires with tons of tread on them. They 'warned' me "they might be damaged on dismounting as they were 'dated' 2018" ( a bit strange) but, seeing all new tire mounting equipment I wasn't too worried. I should have been. They deliberately (?) damaged two of the tires dismounting with a pry bar and I HAD to buy 2 brand new ones. Over $1100...and worst yet, they were manufacture DATED '2018' !! This was in 2020.
