I dropped it off in the morning and received a call that it passed inspection but recommendations for the next year. Great immediate service on a summer Friday afternoon. Heading out on a 300-mile trip to meet up with family and one tire kept losing air; a nail in the tire that caused a rip. (Thanks to the PA turnpike for always being under construction.) We need a new tire; they cautioned it would take @ 2 hours since they were full and a little short staffed. No problem! We SO appreciated that they could help us. And we enjoyed a leisurely meal at the nearby First Watch. read more

Kenny really helped me out! Called in after noticing an unusual screw in my tire late one afternoon. Long story short, Kenny was able to help me get my tire patched on extremely short notice and even stayed after hours to make sure the tire was patched correctly. He even showed me the process to make sure everything was as transparent as possible. Customer comes first attitude for sure, dude was running the place by himself and not breakin a sweat. They've been friendly each time; as a young woman, I particularly appreciate that I feel respected by the men behind the counter, not "talked down to" like at some other auto shops. Great service that care about people. I came with an issue with tires on my car rental they were very professional even though they were busy. They tried to find me the best solution for me not to pay money for rental. It turned out one of the issues was that I had a faulty pressure-valve which they replaced and put air in so I could at least drive some. read more

I brought my car with 6100 miles on it for an inspection. The asst. manager must've read it as 61,000 miles as he told me all my shocks were shot and needed to be replaced. Since it was still under warranty, I brought it to my dealer, who found nothing wrong with them. read more

This place tried to scam me out of $1600. I went here for a state inspection. Was told that I had a hole in my exhaust and the whole system needed replacing. Fine... However, you can get a repacement exhaust system for a 2006 Mazda for less than $200. I told them I would pick up my car and have my husband look over it and discuss with him. When I picked up the car, I asked several specific questions about the "hole". Multiple employees answered my questions. Meanwhile, the inspection report said everything passed ...including emissions. Shortly after I left, I got a call from Tires Plus saying there was a "miscommunication". It wasn't actually a hole, rather a broken hanger (which is much cheaper/no problem to fix) . I can only imagine that if I had agreed to the repairs right away that they would have charged me $1600 for no reason . I do not trust this location's employees. I will never return to this business or any Tires Plus. read more

I got a nail in my tire and was a few miles away from Tires Plus. A friend of mine recommended that I go there. They were very kind and helpful even though I ended up getting my tire replaced elsewhere due to a warranty issue. The folks there waited while I called around to see if I had warranty coverage at my dealership and offered to pump up my tire to allow me to safely drive the few miles to get there. They did not charge me a penny but treated me as if I had spent $1,000 there. Will go back in the future and will recommend to others. read more

They will lie straight to your face and tell you that you are in danger if you drive without getting the recommended repairs there. I used to trust the guys here, but after getting my car inspected with my mechanic, and having an oil change appt. at Tires Plus, and then visiting my mechanic again, he assured me that I am safe to drive on my break pads until my next inspection. If you have a Tires Plus credit card they think its no big deal to put money on it. read more

Should be called Tires Negative. Had a screw in a tire and wanted it plugged. They tried to convince me that the tire could not be passed and since the car was all wheel drive I needed to replace all tires. Thankfully I checked back with the dealer before moving on and was able get the tire plugged for only $20 at the dealer instead. read more

Very bad in time management, they say a job will take one hour and ends up taking longer, they say they have lug nuts in store but then they say they are waiting for it to arrive. They don't stick to their word at all. Horrible service. read more

I have used Tires Plus since the company took over Avelino. I am a retired mechanic. I understand repairs, what it takes to do repair and replacing of parts for repairs and service. I trust this Tires Plus. The one thing that people dislike & dispute about repair & services is the cost/price for the service. Remember people that the service being done is on your vehicle! Just because you just had it to the repair shop does not mean service was done to your whole vehicle. I have had 4 different auto's to this location. 2 used cars & 2 after the manufacturer's warranty stopped. This place is fair, informative, knowledgeable and Honest! I have had service done on my 04' TrailBlazer a handful of times in the last 6 months. I knew what the problem was before taking the SUV to them.( again I am a retired mechanic). Problem fIx properly and in a timely manner. The main issues were ignition. Ignition can be a hard issue to figure out even with computer help. 6 ignition coils and a cam timing sensor. 2 coils were replaced at different times, then I had the same problem again, very frustrating as 2 of the 6 have been replaced, but I know that 4 have not been. I think to myself here we go again. I stop by ( because I was having lunch down the street) to find out how things are going with my SUV and I am told it is a "no charge". That the coil replaced in October went Bad and under warranty. Again, I knew that it was a coil but didn't know what one. That is Honesty. Fair. Trustworthy. Give TiresPlus a try. Classic case of mechanics trying to swindle out your money. Be wary. Take to another mechanic for a second opinion. They failed one of my cars for inspection for literally NO reason. Secondly you shouldn't send mechanics home just because it's a slow day. People come in for emergencies so you should be prepared for the unexpected. Finally, I tried to use a coupon after my transaction processed and they wouldn't allow it. Will never be coming back here. There are plenty of more customer friendly shops in the area. read more

My bf, while visiting his grandmom, noticed a screw in the tires on two different occasions. He brought his car to this place because this was the only place open at the first time. But the second time he brought in because he had such great experience the first time. I had taken the car for inspection and oil change and I was given a big bill saying there is an oil leak that needs to be fixed to get state inspection passed. Spent more than $1000 fixing the leak and recommended services, took the car home, noticed the same oil leak. Took the car back (within a week from original service date), now they say that the oil is leaking from another spot and it needs to be fixed and gave another estimate. When asked why it wasn't diagnosed before, I was told they cannot diagnose all those issues, in fact, the manager further stated that even fixing it second time may not resolve oil leak and they cannot confirm at all that it would ever fix oil leak. I am surprised to hear such a service guarantee that we take money to fix the problem but take it easy it may not resolve the problem so you have to keep paying us so we can keep explore and fix. wow. read more

I have never made a public review of any product or service in almost 20 years of purchasing based on online reviews. However, I feel compelled to let The public know how bad my experience was at the Exton Tires plus. I have serviced five of my cars there in the last 10 years and always had a good experience until new management took over. I had a brake job done on my BMW and they damaged my wheel sensors. When I picked up the car my dashboard was flashing with multiple errors. They told me they could not understand why it happened and asked me to go to the BMW dealer to find out what the problem was. I did this and they refused to pay for the service even though they agreed to. They never fix the problem that they caused and denied it was their fault. I cannot believe they randomly chose me to abuse, so this must be happening to other patrons as well. read more

My family went in for an oil change on my wife's car and to check a check engine light on my car. We were going to have my wife's car's oil changed and pick up my car later. We kept getting calls stating they found more and more issues with my wife's car and kept raising the price. Me, my pregnant wife, and our two small children were stuck wandering around the shopping center with nowhere to go. After five hours we were told my car had not even been looked at yet. After we complained the manager magically appeared and stated my car had just been looked at and all 8 cylinders in the engine would need to be replaced for $1300. They kept offering us package deals when we said we didn't have enough money and were told three times over a few hours that the mechanic was "in the home stretch" of finishing my wife's car. Ultimately my car was jerry-rigged because they said they couldn't fix it and my wife's car was still not fixed. We got my car back after six hours of my whole family waiting. Her car was not completed until just before the shop closed. We were unable to pick it up until the next day. We paid their inflated bill they got from high pressure sales and scare tactics. We will NEVER use any Tires Plus ever again. Update: Yesterday I was told to bring my wife's car in today to run the diagnostic in order to get the inspection sticker. I showed up today as instructed and got turned away because there was nobody to confirm the inspection. Meaning I was lied to yesterday and that I will now have to rearrange my schedule in order to come in a fourth time. Tires Plus thinks this is all a big joke. read more

I went here 8/19/16 to have 4 new tires and alignment done on 2011 sportage which is still under the 100.000 warranty with dealer. Upon my return Bob told me that there was a problem with my tire key lock? He showed me the key and I could cleary see that one of the locks was broken off in the key. He then told me my options: (a) pay $4.00-$5.00 per tire to have them put on regular lug nut. (b) to to the dealership. Honestly, I can't remember what option C was because I was still stuck on him stating that I would have to pay. At this point I called my husband and handed Bob the phone. All I can hear is Bob stating that the incident was due to "normal wear and tear" that they did nothing wrong nor did they break anything. After speaking back to my husband (who at this point was beyond his boiling point) I informed Bob that I did not want an alignment and to just put the new tires on and off to the dealership I went. I mean really I get it was a $20.00 fix but is should not have to come out of my pocket. **** After dearlership saw the key they confirmed what my husand said that Tire plus had over torqued the lock. Dearership installed for free: lock gave me the key and put caps on the tires since Tire plus did not do this**** Hey Tire Plus this is what REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE LOOKS LIKE. WOMEN BEWARE because i don't think they would have tried to sell this story to a man. read more

Another classic case of mechanics trying to swindle you! Failed one of my cars for inspection saying the brakes and rotors needed replacement front and back for a total of $765 and then tried the old "you need brake fluid as well" for $80. Well I took the car to Pancoast automotive in Paoli and they pulled the brakes and rotors on the front and back and...I only needed front brake pads! In fact my rear breaks were nearly brand new! My inspection and brake pads was only $230 at Pancoast. DO NOT GO TO EXTON TIRES PLUS UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO TEL THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR CAR. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS-PATHETIC! read more

it used to be my go to place. My last two visits were not good and will never go again. Back in August I had my car in for State inspection, they could not find anything wrong so they tell me my motor mounts are bad, Really????. Pay up or it fails...What choice did I have. Completely took advantage of me being it was the end of the month. Today I go in for an oil change, they hand me a handful of fluff, tell me I need a cabin air filter, my car has mice. A costumer sitting in the waiting room over heard what the service advisor told me and he said he was told his car had mice too. Avoid this place!!!! read more

With each oil change, inspection, or repair the customer service has been excellent. I have been taking my two cars to Tiresplus at other locations for years and this one lately. Last week I took my van there as the steering was hard to rotate. The guy at the reception acted very suspicious from the moment I stepped in. They came up with the diagnosis that both the pump and rack and pinion were leaking. He said it takes 6 plus hours for replacement and another hour for alignment after. I never used to suspect or take second opinion and said OK go ahead. He offered me to drop off at my home or that he would pay if I needed a rental car at enterprise which was next door. I said I could walk back home which was just 2 miles. The bill was $1650. Other Tires plus locations used to give me 20- 25 % off by using whatever coupons and deals were applicable and I never had to even ask. When I went back to pick up the car in the evening, this guy gave me $80 less. I told him that they used to give me much more off. He says - " Will you be happy if I give another $20?". I said I was not begging but they always had something substantial , especially for services costing more than a few hundreds. He and his manager who both are new ( to me at least, I have not seen them before) acted like they are allowed to get as much money as possible in one day and not to worry about repeat business or how to treat customers etc. I have seen all kinds of people in my life and am not shocked or anything but this experience made me ask around and to my surprise I came to know that they have over charged me significantly. I only googled and found that there are reputed mechanics who would have done the same job for a fraction of how much tirsplus charged( even Honda authorized showroom ). I don't know if they have been doing this to me for all these years, I wouldn't let this rob my sleep but it is quite possible that they have been. Well.. it is what it is.. read more

I had my brakes fixed here .. they were going to charge me for a service I did not need.. good thing I thought the price sounded high .. called my husband and he called them and found out they were charging me for an extra 100 dollar service.. figuring I was a woman and would not know what i needed or did not!!! Also I am in real estate and had a meeting.. the computer system was down.. had to wait at least 15 minutes for them to try to charge my card.. kept asking if I could just give them my number.. they said no.. finally that is what they did and I was 10 minutes late for a meeting! I had my struts and tires replaced here last year. For about 8 months it felt ok, but after that when car goes over even a small bump or crack it feels like there is no suspension. I took it back to get it checked after 10 months, but they told everything looks good in suspension. I had my brakes and rotors replaced, got all new tires, got all four struts replaced in total of around 2500$ spent on this car in this tiresplus. After all that money spent, my car brake is bad, and my suspension is totally screwed up. Riding my car feels like I am riding an old horse drawn carriage with no suspension. It is now in really bad shape than it was when it needed to be fixed. I have stopped going to tiresplus after this and I tell my friends of my experience to keep them away. I do not expect anything better to come out of this review, just in case some one reads it, know that this store is ripping off people. But they are not going to stop, I see it to be crowded most of the time. read more
