I had an amazing service at this location. Definitely recommend location. The service manager Patrick was kind and helpful.

This morning I followed my wife to the Tires Plus at 1801 U.S. Hwy 1 in Fort Pierce. My wife works about 2 miles from this shop and figured she would take her car there for an oil change, feeling confident in that it would be done before she had to leave for her second job around 2 p.m. When I pull into the parking lot, my wife was walking to her car and she appeared upset. When I asked what happened, she stated that the person who spoke to her about her car was very rude, and that he hardly made any eye contact, simply stating that he could not guarantee when her oil change would be completed. We took my wife's car to a Valvoline shop just 2 miles down the road and her oil change took all of about 15 minutes Before following my wife to Valvoline, I stepped inside the office to let the person know that I didn't appreciate the way my wife says he spoke to her and despite not being present when he spoke to my wife, I can understand why she got upset. The gentleman, a mid-aged man with a Jamaican accent was fiddlling with a stapler when I entered and didn't so much as greet me. He looked up only when I stated that I didn't appreciate his demeanor when speaking to my wife. His reaction was a curt "what are you talking about?" I repeated what I said and reminded him of having given a good rating when I dealt with him several months ago and informed him that I would be submitting this review to corporate office. I suggest your manager(?) - I believe that's who spoke to both me and my wife - get a refresher course in customer service and just plain good manners when addressing someone. It's not what you say but how you say it. P.S - My wife and I both have the service plain for oil changes, tire rotation and roadside hazard plan and have never encountered this type of behavior from the staff at the SLW location. I've been to this Ft. Pierce location many times. Never a problem. Prices seem to be less expensive than other shops. This place is very busy so sometimes does take a while even for an oil change and tire rotation. Usually an hour and a half. There's no communication on the status of you car until it's finished. The waiting area has uncomfortable chairs a tv and coffee. Taco Bell is across the street so I always go there for a bite. I've bought many a tire there, alignments, ac work, batteries. They let you know if anything is concerning and tell you the cost. They'll print out prices on all maintenance you need and or repairs. Never pushy salesmen, always have been honest with me so I go there. read more

I requested an APPOINTMENT FOR 1 pm today, was 7 minutes late. When I arrived they looked at mi plate, did there paper work than had me waiting for 1 hour. When I asked if I can just reschedule they told me to grab mi keys which I went int the shop for them.. to mi surprise every one was eating in what appeared to be a room. Very unprofessional, why schedule an appointment if they are under break hours or busy it's not like I was 30 minutes late. They also claimed they were behind.. which if they were behind doesn't make sense why every one was eating. Very bad service don't recommend. read more

Got a flat tire on the Turnpike - on a Saturday - special tires - didn't know what to do. We called around and were referred to Tires Plus.. called them and they were super helpful - gave them the tire info and they carried them! We were able to make it to them and in a couple hours we were back on the road. Can't thank them enough .. for being helpful, for having the tire we needed and for being open! (until 4 on Saturdays!) I had my tires rotated two weeks ago and told the service manager that I bought new tires and can they install them, he said yes. When I arrived to my appointment, they said no. The tires are too big. When I was there getting my tires rotated two weeks ago, I double checked with the mechanic that rotated my tires and even he said yes make the appointment. When I arrived to my appointment, the same mechanic said the tires are too big. They would have installed them if I bought the tires at their location, but since I brought my own tires, now they say no can do. When I made the appointment, I told them it would be installation only and they would be the same tires that are already on my truck. After 10 minutes of waiting in the lobby, no sales representatives to greet myself or the other woman, an employee peeked his head in and mentioned he needed to eat first and that he would be with us shortly. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I also requested that my tires be filled to 45 PSI. ** Counter attendant who I placed my order with didn't respect my time or tell me it would be 2 hours for an oil change until after I had filled out all the information. That was frustrating, had I been informed, I would have scheduled an appointment to return another day and gone to my boat on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. ** Horrible communication meaning NONE between mechanic and Service counter. ** Counter attendant asked me how my conversation with mechanic turned out? I said I've been here for over two hours and no one had said a word to me or asked for any input regarding my vehicle??? ** Oh he said "your tires were not rotated because of tread depth" I said had someone informed me of that situation; I would have purchased 4 new tires on the spot and had them installed. This is my wife's Land Rover and she needs to be safe. ** Then Service attendant stated after going out to the garage and back, that he "tried calling manager and assistant manager but "could not reach any of them" and then stated a couple of my lug nuts are rounded??? That is a first for me, I've never heard that before in all the vehicles I have owned over 45 years of driving. ** That was when I was informed "my tires were not rotated for that reason." ** I paid my bill and walked out and asked the mechanic if my tire tread was unsafe, he measured and showed me the gauge was green, then showed me yellow then red. I have plenty of tire life, I asked if they could be rotated? He responded "yes, of course" I was not happy, but didn't say anything. Everyone was more concerned about leaving for the day than customer service, that was obvious!!! **My CD player was changed to rap crap radio station I don't ever listen too. When I started my vehicle it was offensive and loud. **Now i look at my stereo and it's got black oil or grease on my the knob and stereo push buttons. After I got home, I pulled out my tire gauge and measured my tire pressure and they were not filled to the 45PSI I had requested. I drove to a gas station filled them myself! I thought Tires Plus a good place to have my tires rotated, pressure set and feel confident my wife is safe. I was told different things by the service counter than the technician. In summary, I have lost trust in Tires Plus for several reasons. The fact I had to go inflate my tires from 37, 34, 36, 38 to 45 PSI at a gas station after paying 116.04 leaves me feeling deceived having paid for a service that was not performed! The lack of communication regarding lug nuts and or tire tread depth was an easy sale that was blown. I would have paid for both gladly, yet no one at Tires Plus made any effort to communicate with me??? On the Internet, a sale is merely a mouse click away. When standing in a brick and mortar business not to have communication not only cost you multiple sales, but now I have no reason to have confidence or trust in Tires Plus! The name itself represents tires and mine were not rotated or properly adjusted as requested on my invoice to 45PSI. I would reiterate that this was an overall very unpleasant experience. read more
