What I expected to be a routine oil change and tire pressure sensor replacement turned into rim damage and being sent home in an unsafe condition. I'm not a huge car or truck expert, but the shop looked decent from the street and the front desk staff were polite and able to squeeze me in on a Friday at 1 pm, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. When I returned to pick up my truck, I was told they had trouble removing my keyed locking lug nut and that it "snapped" during removal. I was then informed they didn't have a replacement lug that fit and that I would be fine driving home with only 5 out of 6 lug nuts. I was assured it was safe. Trying to stay calm and reasonable, I paid and went back to my truck. That's when I actually saw the damage. To remove the broken lug, they had completely bored it out, severely damaging the rim in the process. This was not minor scuffing--it was clear, permanent damage to my wheel. I sat in my truck for a moment because something didn't feel right. I turned it off, went back inside, and asked to see the broken lug nut. They handed it to me. When I explained that I was upset about the damage to my rim, I was brushed off and told I "won't see it," it "won't rust," and that I should just find replacement lugs online. No apology. No acknowledgment. No attempt to make it right. The entire interaction made it feel like, "Good luck--this is your problem now." What bothers me most is that I was never notified or asked for approval before they drilled out a lug nut and damaged my rim. That is someone's property, and the decision to cause visible damage should never be made without the customer's consent. While the oil change and tire sensor install were completed, I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and responsible for damage I did not cause. I've attached photos showing the rim damage, and I also noticed light scratching around other lug holes as well. I know I don't have "brand new" rims or lugs, but it's all I have. I wanted to like this place, but I don't feel I was taken care of or treated the way a customer should be. This was my first and will be my only visit. read more

Josh and his crew are absolutely amazing. I've been going there since I moved here in 2017 and he's the only one I trust with my vehicles. I had my ac motor blower go out and even though my car was giving the crew issues they were very patient and the cost of the repairs was not bad at all. My experience started with the front desk guy telling me I was late it's was 1:09 pm my appointment was at 1:00pm and I had been standing there waiting for at least 4-5 mins. So I was 5 mins late and my first impression of this place was this bearded man lecturing me on time even as I had just waited for him to even come to the front desk the irony was insane. His customer service did not make the best first impression. I would give his customer service a 3. The actual tire rotation & oil change was great. I was there maybe 20-30 mins. They were clean, quick, and professional. I would definitely come back and use their services. I would give the actual oil change and time a 5 star. read more

Total Tire Darwin is the only shop I will even think about taking my car to. I tried a few others before I came across this shop and was not impressed.These guys figured out the mis fire my car had, replaced a hub super quick and are doing my brakes as we speak. Very bad experience today. the man at the counter was rude, condescending and just a plain bully. He had a terrible attitude. He would not answer a simple question and seemed to challenge me as if he wanted a fight to start. I simply asked what he had done to charge my daughter such a high diagnostic fee after she told him she could not afford the excessively high price he quoted her for the job due to the upcoming holidays. the diagnostic fee was excessive considering how little effort it takes. but rather than answer, he barked at me "I don't work for free. do you work for free?" she was prepared to pay him something for the diagnosis. but he was obviously taking advantage of her because she was a young girl. as we left i told him that she had been a regular and loyal customer, but his response was "what was that?" as if he wanted to make an issue out of it. well, he got his excessive fee, but he lost a good customer, and a few more if i have anything to say about it. Very rude service. The manager is the worst and the owner lives out of town. Had an oil change today and presented a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. The manager said they would not do the tire rotation because I presented the coupon late. I didn't even argue though because this person has been extremely rude before. They are rated 3 stars for a reason, bought a band new tire and got 7000 miles on it before it exploded, when l called the mgr he informed me that l bought cheap tires, they are called iron man tires and was told they were good tires when l bought them, 7000 miles on a brand new tire! I have been to Total Tire in Pt St Lucie for a variety of reasons. Oil changes on our car and Truck, Tires and lately my AC fixed We also use the car care division for detailing and cleaning our vehicles. The people that work there have all been pleasant and professional from the owner on down. The work has been performed with experience and care by the technicians. They showed me the bad parts that they replaced and explained everything that is wrong with them and why they needed to be replaced. This gives me confidence that they are not trying to pull one over on me. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future. read more
