Went in for a rotation, when the technician identified abnormal wear on one of my front left tire. Turned out my alignment was out of wack, and caused serious edge wear. The store manager, Steve recommended replacing all 4 tires. I got the brand I wanted at a very good price. When I went to have them installed, the technician called out, so Steve went in the shop and installed them himself. Great shop, staff, products; service and prices. Don't bother with this location. Terrible service, management, and customer service follow up. Had made an appointment almost a month in advance for three (3) items to be done as one was under warranty. After spending time helping them billing it correctly "Manger Steve went home sick" (always an issue with them following up on scheduled service, authorizing things properly, and then you having to follow up with every detail as if they have amnesia) they then did not do one of the major services that I had scheduled!! It was even on the work orders prior and suggested with the other services they did do this day. This will lead to a faster breakdown of the repair they just did and make it even more unsafe for the vehicle. Definitely some unsafe work ethics!! Then their email receipts!! Don't get me started . They conveniently would not go through, and when they were "resent", they would only send me one of the two necessary receipts. Basically the one with the actual work I wouldn't get until I found it myself. You can search for invoices by phone number the next business day on there online site. Customer service "Jessica" lied to me and ghosted me after I called them out on the issues. " I spoke to the manager she says... That's interesting, He went home sick today so that's impossible..." then crickets Typical....!! After finding the receipts myself the next day, I then find that they had not done one of the services I had scheduled. This was probably the reason they were ignoring me. Never got a phone call, email response or a follow up of course once the truth is out. How fast they are to praise their good reviews on here but mute if a mistake is made and when it's time to step UP! I hate leaving bad reviews! I made an appointment for 9:30am for tire rotation. I brought my truck in and waited 2 hours. At 11:30am they tell me they can't do a tire rotation because the thread on three of them is at the yellow indicator. Why make an appointment at all; if you still wait 2 hours before your car/truck is looked at and they don't fix anything?! Pros: Staff was friendly. I bought 4 new tires at the Tires Plus on S Florida in Lakeland. The employee putting the tires on the wheel scratched not one but all four wheels. They had the Wheel Doctor come and and repaint the wheels. The paint job was terrible, before the wheels were gloss black now they have a mix of satin and gloss. Went to the wheel doctor he said they needed to be stripped and power coated. The problem is Tires plus will not fix the wheels right and pay to have them power coated. They will not even talk to me at the store they said the area manager will call me 2 weeks later he hasn't tried to call me and make it right. All I want is to have the wheels in the same shape as they was before Tires Plus scratched them. read more

I've been doing business with this store for years.... Have spent thousands of dollars. ... Multiple vehicles.... Yesterday I was treated like an idiot - talked down to - left without a tire.... I have purchased every EXTRA they sell - warranty, roadside assistance, you name it. I will never do business with that store again. The person in the office was not trained, didn't have a clue what she was doing..... it was an awful experience and took up half of my day. I've always relied on Tires Plus for their honesty with me. My husband is a "car guy" and fixes pretty much anything. So when it comes to something he can't do, like tires, he is very picky about who we use. My tire blew out and on top of that the tow company stripped the lug nut while putting on the donut, causing over $500 in damage to the hub, spindle, etc. Steve at Tires Plus took pictures and texted them to my husband, so we could get reimbursed by the insurance company. He also called my husband several times to keep him informed of what was going on. Steve gave us his cell number and offered to speak to our insurance company if needed. My husband was so impressed, he said if I ever have a problem he can't fix, we are taking our vehicles here. read more

We have had our vehicles serviced from Tires Plus for years at other locations. We started coming to this exact location within the last year. Today is the second and last time this place took full advantage of my wife in their sales tactics. She went for an oil change and replacement of one tire. She came home and her bill was near $900. They didn't give her an option on oil and did full synthetic of which was not needed. Antifreeze flush of system (not needed) $140. Talked her into work not needed. Do not take your car to tires plus. I called south Lakeland tires plus prior to my May 3rd 1 pm appointment. I told them that I was told the tire rotation is free since I have a Firestone tire, and the employee told me no. He said it's only free if I bought the tires from them. I took him at his word and dropped it. Then hours later when I called to see if my oil change and tire rotation was complete, the front desk worker put me on hold and while on hold, I heard that if I have a firestone tire, the rotation is free regardless of where I purchased it. This left a bad taste in my mouth. When I got there, I asked if my car was done and tires rotated. Both the front desk guy and mechanic told me yes. I always mark my tires, and when I got to the car, I saw that it was not rotated. When I brought this to their attention, I got nothing but excuses from the front desk worker. I don't usually go to these places for anything other than getting new tires put on, but since my available hours have changed, I have not been able to make it to my usual place. I needed an oil change and the left break light was out. I left the car there and they said it would be an hour and 1/2. In about 1 hr I received a phone call, I was thinking they were going to tell me all the extra stuff I needed. For example an air filter, windshield wipers, wheel alignment, coolant flush etc.... to my surprise they just said my car was complete! Lol really! So I don't know if they were so busy they didn't have time for it or they just don't try to rip you off, but with this experience I am going to try these guys again when I need something. I made an online appointment for 6 pm on 10/20/22. Found out I could make it earlier so I called spoke with Mike about changing my time from 6 to 5 and he told me he would check on it and put me on hold for 17 minutes!! I should of realized that this was a business I would not want to use . I called back and Mike answered again I told him to change my appointment from 6 to 5 he said he would check for me then said he did not have 5 available but could do a 3. I said oh forget it I will just keep my 6 pm one. At this time he decided to tell me they close at 5 and according to him they have been closing early for a year and a half. Like I should of known that . It's not listed on the site ! they are making online appointments I told him he should put something on the online order site and he said you knows that corporate and we cannot do anything about it !! Tires Plus must have plenty of business that allows them to turn down tire and service sales. I went there to buy 2 rear tires, 2 sizes wider than what was on the car. They only wanted to install the original 205 x14 sizes. They would not sell me the wider tires. I bought 2 BF Goodrich tires 225 x14 online from Tire Rack at $150 each, and had another leading tire store down the street mount them for me. Tires Plus also refused to install a new Cardone rack and pinion I had already bought from Summit Racing. The same store down the street also installed that for me. Must be nice to have profits that allow that. read more

I bought a 2018 Toyota RAV4, and from the day I accepted delivery, it pulled to the right ever so slightly. Toyota said they checked the alignment, and all was good, but it still pulled to the right. The steering wheel was also slightly off center. I brought it to Tires Plus in South Lakeland for the alignment. I asked the manager if I could speak to the technician before he worked on my car. He said it was no problem, and was sure they could correct the problem. I spoke to "Brandon", explaining the problem. It took him about a half hour to re-align my Toyota. I left the store and my Toyota drove perfectly straight, and my steering wheel is perfectly straight when I am driving straight. I recommend the South Lakeland Tires Plus store for very good customer service, and highly recommend "Brandon" for automobile alignments. I give this place 4-stars. read more

Very Very Bad service ..... Very Very Bad .. service ... i went there few months back for oil change and car check .... they listed tons of things .... My car was working fine....i asked for oil change and tire rotaion 1) they asked me to come back 4 hours later .... i went back 4.5 hours later and still was not done.. had to wait for 2 hours more 2) when i got my car, while going back to home i realised there was some extra noise coming from front right tire when i take left turn .... remember my car was fine before was not used to make any noise ... they messed up my tires while rotating it 3) next day i went back and asked to fix then first they said its not our fault and showdn me that list that hey showed me yesterday. Couple of hours later they agreed to $ 200.00 discount in mistake of $600 bucks.. 4) I advised not to go here honestly .... they will mess ur car to earn some money .... 5) i also called frenchise and they came back with same list and $100 discount..... i ain't that rich to take them down ...but atleast i can advise read more

You have lost more than one customer. Went in for a oil change and inspection, and during this inspection they say that my battery was bad and my brake calipers were leaking, on a two year old car.... Got the battery checked and it did fail the test, but my brakes are 100% fine. They wanted to charge me $800 to replace my brake calipers. There is no way to mistake this leak, they were just trying to get extra money and take advantage of people. It was kind of sketchy when literally everyone that came in the store and multiple issues wrong with their vehicle, hopefully you didnt scam all of them. read more

BEWARE!!! Dreadful experience! I would never go back here. There is no point in making an appointment because they do not honor it. Made appointment for 3pm (a time they said was open, they gave me 3 time options that were "open"). When i arrived they tell me they are too busy and can't look at car until tomorrow. I asked why? They said if walk in customers turn up then they get preference. First come, first served. I said, "then what's the point of making an appointment?" She gave me attitude and said appointments are only valid if the mechanics aren't doing anything else. I asked why she wouldn't call and tell a customer their appointment was no longer valid. Ok folks, hold on to your hats for this review. Took my step-daughter here after we were quoted $260 for front brake job at a wonderful establishment, Webb's auto service on the corner of Edgewood and South Fl. Before arriving to Tire Plus, I was quoted $159-$189 with a free inspection. Dropped the car off and about an hour later received a call that the job was going to cost $700!!!... Told Diana Espinosa, the store manager to put the car back together and I will pick it up. On the way to Tire Plus, she called and said the car needed to be towed. I asked in a not so polite way with a few choice words. She said that two of the studs were stripped and the car would need to be towed. Long story short, I filed a complaint, signed a waiver to take the car to a place that values and wants customers. Tire Plus on South Florida is a bad establishment...
