Flat tire on a Sunday. Had to drop the emergency spare on Chrysler minivan. All parts were rusted from non-use, but with WD40 spray and hard work, the spare tire holder dropped down and was able to get spare on. Took it to local TP store, wanted two tires replaced, alignment, and balance. Bill came to $290. Asked if they would put spare tire back up when finished, they said they would. Monday came to pay the bill, said they "couldn't" put the spare back up cause the mechanism was rusted and "unsafe". Asked the mechanic who claimed he worked on it over a half hour to put it up on a lift to show me what was "unsafe", instead he wanted me to crawl under the car in their parking lot to see the "bad" parts. Person who happily took my charge for the bill at the counter was completely uninterested in getting the issue resolved. After leaving, was able to put the spare back in the holder and lifted it back up, however it was a lot harder by myself. Update April 27, was told someone from TP was going to contact me to discuss my experience, but instead, nothing. read more

Very happy! I called with an emergency flat tire (one that can not be fixed) and the gentleman on the phone was extremely nice and informative. Prior to this phone call I made one to meineke a mile down the street, and the guy was so rude! I usually base my service off of the interaction I get on the phone when calling in the first place! Needless to say, they took the car in immediately and I'm very appreciative of their quick service! read more

Had a dead car battery so I called AAA to check it out. The technician said my battery was dead but something was draining it, taking 2 amps out. I had him tow it to tires plus. They called me shortly later saying it's just a battery. When I mentioned what AAA told me I got no response. They quoted me a battery price $50 more than what AAA did so I decided to take it to that shop that AAA was a part of and when I got there they tested the battery again to see the drain was still happening. Tires plus either doesn't have the technology to test battery's for drains or else they just don't know what they are doing and want to make a quick buck. Either way this other shop found out the problem as to what the drain was and is working on it. If I would have taken tires plus' advice and got the new battery it would have died much sooner than it should have because they never tested or noticed the drain. Pathetic service. read more
