    Not done at all, tie rod

    Manager Matt. Matt was terrible and offered 0/10 service. He is a fraudulent individual. Tires Plus truly messed up with hiring him to "manage" this store. I am visiting my family in Lacrosse and have a 10 hour drive ahead of me back to school. Matt said that I needed tie rods and an alignment. As shown in the photos, clearly only one of my tie rods were replaced. They weren't even properly replaced. They were half-assed replaced. The clip that goes on the tie rod was not placed back, causing fluid to steep out. The left tie rod was not replaced whatsoever. Also shown, the steering rack boot was not secured. Furthermore, we paid for an alignment and my car was never realigned. Even more, Matt said that I needed new struts. My car never needed struts. He was going to charge us hundreds of dollars more to get new struts, and my car never needed new struts. When I got to Tires Plus and came to talk to Matt, the manager, about this, he told me he needed to go to the bank and that he would be back. He never came back..Matt is a coward and knew that he messed up. Thankfully, Jake, was there to apologize for Matt's embarrassing, inappropriate and disrespectful behavior. Jake fully refunded us, understanding our frustration. He met us with compassion and respect for Matt's wrongful actions and behavior. In all, if you ever come in contact with Matt at Tires Plus, ask for Jake. Overall this is just a good business with a poor manager, Matt, being in charge.

I live in the cities & reached out for a few quotes there. My mom lives here, always talks up the wonderful service she gets. I emailed for a quote. Luke's was the only one that asked for my VIN. Which i appreciated; means they're confirming what they're looking at! Luke's came in about $150-$200 to the lowest cities quote. Factoring in the fuel i'd burn through to get here, i determined they were worth it! When i received the quote back they were upfront that they couldnt get me in for two weeks. A few days before the appointment i called to inquire about how long the fix would take? And if they could give me a ride the few miles away during the fix? Chad said it would be about 3 to 3.5 hours and i could get a ride. Wonderful. Upon arrival i sat in the cozy & well lit waiting area....as i chatted up the desk fella, i asked his name? Chad. "Oh hey, we've talked a few times!" As we discussed my repair; he said he would recommend the Chrysler plastic/aluminum housing; gave the reason. He said it was the same price so i told him to go ahead w the Chrysler housing. Thanks! A friendly fella brought me home. Friendly Carl picked me up. When i paid i asked Chad "who was the fella that brought me the first time?" Chad "Luke" Me "ahhhhhh" Chad "yes THE Luke" Me "well awwwww lovely" Luke's provided a wonderful & friendly experience. Their prices were reasonable. BTW dropped off my truck @ 1:00, Chad called @ exactly three hours; 4:00 as quoted! With Luke's providing great service, comfortable waiting area, reasonable pricing and just a fantastic & friendly crew...that's essentially the Whole Package. Maybe....i will start planning my oil changes for when im in town? I prefer to support small, local and awesome. Thanks Luke's; one satisfied customer & a new fan!

    While the place may be listed 5 stars and is good for other things, they missed the diagnostics on…read moremy vehicle which was a BIG deal due to the price difference. I was told it needed a new motor by Luke's after they ran a few codes and did nothing else to see the status of the motor. Had it towed to my mechanic 20 miles away and he did a proper more in depth diagnostic and found that the motor was fine and that replacing the timing chain would do. SUV is fixed and running great and quieter than it ever has been. Maybe they will read this post and try harder next time. Probably should request the money back for the diagnosis that they charged me which could have been done at Autozone for free and been just as helpful.

As a single female driving from Chicago to south central Minnesota, my Audi Q7 Run Flat tire lost pressure in the dark due to a puncture and after temporarily using the Audi-provided sealant and air compressor while pulled off on I90, I was able to safely hobble a return to a hotel in Onalaska and get a new tire quickly the next morning at Discount Tire. Their team was efficient, did not upsell me, and I was safely on my way. Thank you for what could have been a much crazier and precarious delay.

A couple of years ago, I had my tires changed. They offer to do the wipers as well and I had them changed too. My wipers started hitting down on the edge of my hood towards the windshield. He hit so much when I used them that it started wearing the paint off! The only thing Discount Tire did was look at the wipers. Didn't offer anything else. How about what happened to my hood?! Couple years moving forward, I needed to get my tires changed again. Started with a puncture in my tire. One worker came out and used some scanning thing to check the tread on my tires. Even after it was taken to the shop, NO ONE told me how balled all of my tires were on the inside wall of my tires! Irritating! They were able to get me a certificate for it. I was taken care of my Chan. Pretty nice guy until I spoke with him on the phone when I mentioned the price of my tires. Long story short, he started throwing guilt my way as if I wasn't grateful. Needless to say that ticked me off. I was asking questions, not wanting to "free stuff." I don't tolerate anyone guilting me. It was basically over the fact that no one told me about the tread of my other tires and the Chan telling me that he would see what he could do after talking to his manager. Came back on the phone, and that's when the guilt trip happened. Told me "we already are offering the certs for a couple of your tires, and I offered you to have all of your tires changed at the shop." Then he said, "I think we are already being generous offering the certs, and I did mention to you that you could get all of your tires changed." I'm like yeah, but I'm also not someone that can whip out money left and right as I am a teacher and I don't get paid nowhere near as much as I should and I'm on a budget. Not gonna lie, that pissed me off. When I ordered my tires, someone told me specifically on the phone that they could have my tire overnighted from Rochester and they would call me when they arrived. The next day, most of the day had passed and no one called. I called them. Brett the store manager answered and I told him what was going on. He said," I'm sorry, I'm not sure who told you we could overnight tires, but we aren't able to do that.." I'm literally like...WTF in my head. Communication needs to be a priority. It's like I deal with someone different all of the time. I also felt like Chan passed me off to other people because after I told him I didn't appreciate him guilting me, he doesn't even acknowledge my presence when I step into the shop. Not a friendly hello, nothing. Might as well call me cellophane. After finally getting all of my tires changed several days later when my tires came in, I called back a couple of weeks later to get an alignment. Discount Tire doesn't do appointments and it's first come first serve which I hate! I work out of town and I work all day. It's hard for me to do a first come first serve cause they're always busy or about to close. They also told me it would be over 200+. I called Cordell's and they are able to do my alignment cheaper, like 100 bucks cheaper! Cordell's also offers a shuttle if you need it which is included! Andddddddd they take appointments!!!! Needless to say after all of this, I'm taking my business to Cordell's!! As I do realize people have different experiences, and could be positive, unfortunately mine with Discount Tire was not. They used to be pretty good with customer service, but with me lately they've fallen off. I will however leave this on a positive. The guy that changed my other 3 tires, he really nice. He was a shorter Asian guy, and that's the only way I can describe him. He was very nice and very professional. I appreciate his kindness!
