Perfect for kid birthday parties! Staffed by students, and you can bring food from outside vendors with approval.

We live closer to Concourse Lanes, but I wanted to take us to Linbrook to see if we would like it and maybe spend more time in my old neighborhood. Just for nostalgia's sake. Well maybe we were there on an off night? (Sunday 5pm) When we walked in leagues were in play. It was busy. The look was, frankly, worn. I was not impressed. As much as this Alley is held in high regard, I expected a much cleaner, less worn look. Very unkept. At best. Maybe invest in new carpeting, fresh paint, clean the floors and paneled walls. That would be a good start. We played for an hour and left. None of us felt good about our time there. Me, the wife and my daughter. To make the matter worse, the ball return damaged my new bowling ball. When I brought it to the front counters' attention - they said sorry, nothing we can do for you unless you are a registered league bowler with Linbrook. Well, I'm not and ... I won't be. Heading back to Concourse much more accommodating there.

Pretty chill place to bowl, play pool, or watch sports!…read more We did the $40 for a group of 4 deal. Came with shoe rentals and 2 hours of bowling (Mon - Thurs). There are a bunch of pool tables and a big bar area with TVs to watch games, drink, and eat! The dining/bar area was actually super crowded for the World Cup! You can also order food and drinks to your lane. We ordered the nachos, it wasn't bad, not the best, but good finger food (Tasted like a Dave and Busters nachos). Also ordered a tall beer for $12! Drink prices are around $10-18 depending if you are getting a cocktail or a beer. I would definitely enjoy coming back!

The space is clean, well-kept, and has a fun energy without feeling overwhelming. Pricing is pretty reasonable for what you get, which makes it easy to relax and actually enjoy your time without stressing about the cost. Pro tip: go in the morning if you can--when we went, it was basically empty, which made everything way more enjoyable (no waiting, no crowds, just vibes). Parking is at The Outlets at Orange, so you might have a bit of a walk depending on where you park, but it's manageable. What I loved most is that it really works for all ages--my grandma and my nephew both had a great time, which says a lot. Definitely a go-to if you're trying to plan something easy and fun for a group!

Unfortunately for my regular pool hall, the table is saving me around $400 a month - it will pay for itself in a couple years! Paul Lockhart worked with me to get the perfect table and worked on my timeline to make sure it could be delivered shortly after the time my contractor was done with my pool room (converted garage). He made sure I had the perfect table light and all the components. I would recommend West State and Paul with an 11 out of 10 score - you cannot go wrong.

He demonstrated a clear understanding of our project approval process and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the nearly two-month engagement with our organization. Paul was consistently responsive, approachable, and proactive in addressing our needs. Recognizing the importance of our historic nearly 100 year old table at our nonprofit Fraternal Order of the Eagles Azusa #2810, Paul assigned his most experienced team to the project. Jose Cordero, the team lead with over 35 years of experience in pool table servicing, exceeded all expectations. His attention to detail was truly remarkable and among the best we have encountered. Jose and his team were meticulous not only in their craftsmanship but also in maintaining a clean and organized workspace before, during, and after the service. Throughout the process, Jose and his team were professional, patient, and thorough in answering all of our questions. Upon completion, they ensured we were fully satisfied with the work and took the time to address any additional observations or concerns, demonstrating a commitment to excellence that went above and beyond. Even after the service was completed, Paul continued to provide courteous and professional support, assisting with payment and offering ongoing help for any future needs. In our view, West State Billiards sets the gold standard in their industry. This review is posted to both the Irvine and Fullerton locations because we received support/documentation from both locations.

We loved bowling here, so that's what brought us back. We were seated on the outside patio and although I was initially reluctant to not sit inside with AC, they had fans and live music that made up for it (I do wish they paused the music on the outside speakers so that the performers could be heard a little better because they were great). The food isn't anything to write home about, but it's pretty solid for a bowling alley and our server did an amazing job taking care of us. We ordered the cheeseburger deluxe ($22.75) and chicken tenders - both of which came with crinkle cut fries (which aren't my personal favorite). I was kind of skeptical about ordering sushi from a bowling alley, but the table next to us ordered a poke bowl ($26.75) that definitely caught my eye. The food here is on the pricier side which is to be expected for Downtown Disney... but one thing to note is that they do have a Magic Key discount, so make sure to take advantage!

However we did have a slight wait before we could start bowling which was expected. We looked around and there were a bunch of unused lanes so we went to ask about that and the server told us we could just use any lane so we went to ask the girls at the counter and the girl at the counter was so extremely rude. It was such a turnoff wtf. The server was super nice though. We preferred to order with him instead of using the QR code because the internet is non existent in this place. And to use the WiFi, you had to put in your email, which I didn't want them to have my email. So that was annoying. We got a pizza, which tasted pretty good but was extremely greasy lol! The bowling itself was kind of weird too because all the pins had a string attached to them and that's how they would reset them. Which was crazy because I felt like the strings would sometimes prevent the pins from falling at times, messing up our game. Boo hoo. I do like the retro vibes with the music videos and Space Jam movie but the music was too quiet and they played Space Jam 3 times while we were there! Yikes!!! Lol overall, would maybe come back if it was the cheapest place but probably not otherwise!

Make sure your whole group is together before start time so you all play at the same time and no one misses out. Our group was a bunch of 5/6/7 year olds and the group they played against was 10-12 year olds so I felt like that was a little unfair but no one got seriously hurt so that's all you can ask for. My least favorite part was the arcade. Some of the games weren't working so that's a bust. Our kids were too young to use the VR game so it would have been nice if they got to ride the bumper cars twice instead of just losing out on that. On top of that there was only one person staffing the VR game, the mini bowling and the bumper cars so it was like 10-15 minutes between each option and there were only maybe 8 bumper cars so when there's a line the kids had to wait about 20 minutes just to ride the bumper cars. There were lines for the bumper cars and the VR so no one used the bowling because there wasn't enough staff. The pizza was fine, I believe you can order other stuff outside the party pizza if you want.
