We originally had a time-and-materials proposal from Handyman that could vary anywhere from about $2,100 to $3,400 which was within our budget. Robert came in and suggested he just give us a fixed price (with better fixtures) so there's no confusion. We were fine with that and were pleasantly surprised when his fixed price was at the very low end of the spread we expected. He also had to repair a broken underground line at no added charge and the outcome is better than the original. Robert was great to work with, a very nice guy, and very honest and forthcoming. If you don't want to do the work or don't have the time you just say that and don't waste other people's time. After a few days I received something from the office saying something about an estimate. What estimate? Next, if I have to call and complain that nothing is done then there is a problem. After a week I called and complained again, and later that day finally received an estimate. I can prove this because I have emails from when I called the first time and when I received the estimate. The problem is your company not me. So replying to my review and making it look like I am the problem just proves I am right.
