Having been employed at the Disability Office at one of the Colleges in San Antonio for over five years, I became very familiar with the Federal and Texas ADA LAWS! Further, I am a 100% Disabled Veteran with mobility issues. Your small pet that is decked out with a chest cover that says ADA is not classified as a Service Animal. Look it up on the ADA website and you will find a wealth of information on Service Animals. FYI: I am a Dog lover! Doberman or German Shorthaired are my favorite! Please research the laws before you go. Here is some general information I copied from a website; "Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Texas law, a service animal is defined as a dog (or in some cases, a miniature horse) individually trained to perform specific work or tasks directly related to a person's disability. Emotional support animals are not protected as service animals." When you see people at HEB or Walmart or any other business, with a small animal in their cart or being carried, you can pretty much bet that they are not covered by the ADA. Please take the time to read ADA Laws. One more thing. Any Business can "Trespass" you from their property for any reason. Once they do you must leave the premises.

The lights on the water were excellent, but all I was pulling up on the sabiki were tiny bait fish -- piggy perch, small whiting, you name it. Basically running a daycare for baby fish under those lights. Dropped $20 on croaker and got nothing out of it. Even tried the artificial fish bites, and still just fed the little guys. Didn't see anyone else land anything worth bragging about either. Honestly, just way too many people for not much action.

No fish, hated to give us good bait like we were stupid! All over my wife and constantly& tell me how to fish all freaking day. Just a conceded, idiot that strokes his own meat like he the man all day!!! My boat the best!!"only one of its kind ",my talk show the best!!, I report all in the world of fishing!!, I run this bay!! Get out of my way !! What a terrible $400 shit show.. Trust me move on ! This guy out for himself and riding his poor wife's bank roll from the location shop she owns. Talked bad to the locals & fishing tournament groups who had the right just as we did to fish all day .. it just got old ! Fishing with Captain Doug was an absolute joy and I can't wait for our next trip down to Port A…read more Let me start off by first saying I am afraid of the ocean. My imagination is a little too wild for the open sea and the thought of sharks and wild animals bigger than me freaks me out! When we first started going out on the water, I was nervous. Capt. Doug was awesome though, he gently broke us into deeper and choppier water making sure that both or legs and stomachs could handle the constant movements. It didn't take very long before my husband caught his first fish. Less than a minute actually! He dropped his line in the water, and BAAM!! There was a giant Redfish on the hook. Well after that, we were ready for more. Further and deeper we went until we ended up next to two large shrimping boats. That's when the fun really started. Kingfish, sharks, dolphin, sea turtles. It was like they were putting on a show. I have never had very good experiences at the beach, better yet on the water, but Capt. Doug really knew how to entertain and keep the energy up. I would recommended him to anyone, young or old, man or woman, experienced fishermen or newbies like myself. We had a blast.

We looked around Houston and everything was booked or rained out! So we found Goose Island and it had decent reviews! We decided to book a campsite for one night- our campsite was 201. When we arrived my goodness!! I've never seen so many deer - one minute outside of the park, there were about 5 deers hanging out- not scared of me or my car or the noises. It was beautiful! When we entered the park, we first was looking for our campsite and drove in many circles- it was in the "wooded area" so it was a bit hard to find! When we arrived it was around 3pm And we started setting up camp. I am thankful the parking was right in front of the campsite but also that whole area I think 201-204 Is shared. I was lucky it was Christmas so no one else Booked the area next to us but it wouldn't have been as fun if others did! We stayed overnight- everything went well as planned! One thing I didn't like the restrooms were driving distance or a longer walk away but this was an amazing weekend getaway for us! In the morning we checked out the pier area. It was nice and very different than our campsite area! Highly recommend this park even for a daytime park!
