Came here on the recommendation of a local. It's located in an area that doesn't appear very welcoming, but don't let that deter you. It's steet parking and CASH ONLY at this place They specialize in seafood dishes and we started with their coconut shrimp (the call cockroach shrimp, ha!). They shrimp were huge. Our seemed like maybe they were overcooked just a little. Regardless, they were still good! We also tried their Zarandeondo Mahi Mahi. This was a very tasty preparation of the fillet covered in a delicious sauce mixed with vegetables. It could have used a little more fillet though. Regardless, we definitely liked it...just wished we had more! My buddy complimented his meal with a Coke while I down a couple beers. But ordered up a couple beers. But we did both order up a shot of anejo tequila. There's a couple big screen TVs and this is an outside dining area (no AC if that's what you require). It's just street parking too. Visited here with my wife when we came to Puerto Vallarta for our wedding. To be clear this isn't in Puerto Vallarta, you have to drive north into Nayarit to get to the right location. It is situated at the end of a dead end street that may seem like you're in the wrong neighborhood but do not let this deter you. You are about to be in for a treat for your investment in effort. We arrived and it is a beautiful outdoor restaurant with plenty of greenery that is very relaxing. The place wasn't filled for the lunch service however there was enough people working really hard to make the service quick and easy. The also had a singer come and serenade during lunch (she was really good) and you can enjoy sounds while dining here. Now, the food. Oh my, your taste buds are in for a treat. First time coming here and the server made some really great recommendations. La cucaracha and agua chile negro were the two main dishes we got and for two people this was PLENTY. The size of the plates are generous and great for sharing with the tostadas they provide. They have both cold and hot dishes. They also provide homemade desserts which are great to cool down the sweat on a warm day. The food was not pricey either for the quality. We would venture again just for this restaurant read more

Red Snapper - fresh and delicious the kiddos picked the bones clean with their fingers - best in show and must order - kids have asked to return before we leave Tacos Machaca Mantaraya - fried = shrimp toquitos - grilled was softer and better of the two - make sure you get the pico de gallo! Garlic shrimp plate - bit on the salty side but anything sauteed in garlic butter is going to win - came with rice, sauteed veggies, and some buttered toast! Nice little hole in the wall. Our server was such a nice young man. Service was great. The menu was in both Spanish and English. I ordered the Camarónes a la mantequilla ( buttered shrimp) and they were delicious 10/10. It was a pretty big portion of shrimp with rice and veggies. The rice was absolutely delicious as well. We also ordered quesadillas sencillas 10/10 and Camarones a la Cucaracha (Cockroach shrimp) 8/10 not a 10/10 because they were very spicy! read more

Holy cow this places food is delicious and so full of flavor! Their restaurant is very vibey and so authentic. This was the first sit down restaurant we ate at in PV and was the closet one to our hotel. Because we didn't prepare properly and didn't have pesos on us to pay (since they were cash only), they let us run to an ATM to get cash out and come back and pay which was so nice of them! Can't say enough about how flavorful everything was though. They have a cucumber sauce that they give you with torta chips and it was so refreshing and fantastic. This place is very close to the resort area in Nuevo Vallarta. We had the shrimp cucaracha and the shrimp in butter plates . Both of these were good but the cucaracha's were a slow spicy that creeps up on you so order plenty of beer. Family friendly and mainly it's locals eating here so you know it's good. It's a 5-8 min ride from Paradise Village area. Prices were very reasonable too. read more

The water (and water used to make ice) are filtered, so it's safe to drink anything. This was a great find and wonderful food. A little local restaurant off the tourist track, Titi's has great seafood, fabulous margaritas and fun and friendly service. The water and ice are filtered so you don't have to worry about food or drinks here. The menu seems a little overwhelming until Carlos explains that they have shrimp, octopus, red snapper and Mahi Mahi. Each can be prepared in 9 different ways. A little hole in the wall but good is sooo good the shrimp in cucaracha sauce is an amazing twist on shrimp boil the sauce is a little spicy but nothing too bad for the average spicy eater. Go early because they do run out of sides towards the end of the night, also don't want to get caught in that neighborhood after 7 kinda sketchy a lot of men out drinking and no street lights so be careful. Best restaurant in all of Bahía de Banderas!! Having grown up here I have tried countless restaurants offering very similar menus, and although they are mostly all delicious, Titi's is just #1. The flavors in the food, the friendly service, the drinks, the music - an overall great experience with the best food in town. If you can really handle your spiciness, then get the cucaracha shrimp!! An absolute must. Otherwise shrimp and octopus al ajillo, and of course a ceviche if aguachile for the table. If you love a Bloody Mary have a Cielo Rojo (with beer instead) which goes amazingly with the seafood! Can't wait to go back!! read more

We've been going to Titi's when we are in Nuevo Vallarta in the winter for about six years now. The servers are very gracious and helpful and the food is outstanding. We've come to know Carlos and Daniel and look forward to seeing them. We (my wife and I and our daughters) usually have one of the shrimp (camaron al gusto) dishes. I think there are seven or eight varieties including a la Mexicana, diabla, ajillo, ajo, and merequetengue). Our son usually gets a steak and is always happy with it. We've had guests go with us and they are uniformly pleased with their dinners and are excited to return. I know a few people who say it's too rustic but to us the charm is its real pueblo experience with great food and wonderful people. read more

Over cobblestone streets and some back alleys we arrived to a place that truly looked old school and in character for the neighborhood. Chickens running around, a horse tied to a tree.
