Only just to be a stepping stone while he was putting together his amazing family owned gym! When he finally opened the doors to Society Boxing and Fitness on December 1,2018 there was nothing but family coming together to make sure it was all ready to go for opening day! From the start this gym has been one big family! Going into a gym you always worry about people judging you or just not being very friendly! Especially in a small gym like this there is none of that. Each and every member is welcomed by Drew and Heather with open arms and are treated like family! I call this gym a second family from all the friendships that I have made over the last year! When I started training with Drew I had so many fears with boxing since I only ever had one good trainer who started teaching me and then had one who had no clue what they were doing. But within a few one on one sessions Drew really made those fears disappear and made me feel so much more confident. Coming from playing D1 sports I have always had the competitive edge to me and I love that Drew brings that out in me some days and really pushes me to overcome my hesitations. I could not be happier with my decision to start working out with Drew and to be a part of the awesome group of people in the gym! Good for beginners just looking to get in shape and still good for the more experienced guys who want to spar and compete. Some gyms can only teach you basic footwork and punches. Jason and his team can teach advanced techniques with sharp counter punching and creating angles. I been going there for about a year and have learned a lot. You start off with or without a trainer depending on what you're trying to accomplish. The best part is the gym is 24hr a day, you get a special key card to let you in the door. They have all the boxing stuff in the first floor and a big weight room in the basement with everything you need so I can box one day and lift weights the next day to switch up the workouts. It's really reasonably priced also, you'll pay twice as much at some of the other gyms I've been too. All in all its a good spot to get a workout and I'll be a member for a long time.

I'm a mid 40's male and now almost exclusively train with Kettlebells while occasionally adding in some sandbags and running. Since early 2020 I left the confines of the gym and went to the local high school track in the mornings and have never looked back. I have just about an hour each morning and Mike's programming fits perfectly into that slot with most days running about 46:00 max from start to finish.
