So, I recently heard about this place from a friend in Syosset who wanted to try it out based on great things they had heard about the workout...I was a little skeptical at first because I had never boxed before and didn't know what type of workout to expect. I decided to take advantage of their first class free policy and I am so glad I did...the workout was awesome and really made me push myself and my limits. First, let me say that this is a boxing-themed workout, but there is no sparring or fighting...it is a group fitness class that works cardio, boxing technique, and core for 1 Hour straight...No contact is allowed...Prior to the class I was brought into the ring in back to learn the boxing punches I would utilize during class...and during the 3 minute boxing rounds (there were 8 of them after a 15 minute warmup period), the trainers on staff were helping me with technique and even brought over mitts for individualized additional training. At the end of the workout, I was sweating like crazy but felt great...so glad I tried it out. Summer is coming quick so need to get in shape ASAP!!! My friend couldn't join me, but I am getting him to come with me for my next class. Terrible ethics. Trying to scam a 14 year old. My 14 year old enrolled in the 8 classes a month 109$ plan. After attending 3-4 classes middle of May he advised the gym that he wasn't interested. Today I got off the phone with Steve the owner, as discourteous as they get. They've been charging my card for every month. End result, I'll have to pay for another months before they stop billing. I first started my journey at Title Boxing Club Syosset in February of this year when I first walked in for my free trial class, and I never looked back. I became a member on March 1st and the rest is history. I first learned how to box when I was fourteen, but I haven't stepped foot in a boxing gym in over seventeen years. I wanted to get back into shape and train for boxing competitively again. After just my first month at Title Boxing Club Syosset I lost twenty pounds. After eight more months of hard work and dedication and commitment to this club, I am proud to say that I have lost 100lbs since I first started training at Title Boxing Club Boxing. I owe so much to the Team at Title Boxing, and I cannot recommend this gym enough. You get what you put into it because every trainer there will push you further than you know how to push yourself. Whether you're working on fine-tuning the fundamentals of boxing in a Boxing 60 or 45 class with Adam, Kevin or Tommy, working on your Strength and Conditioning with Sylvia or sprinting through a rigorous Boxing 30 class with Lorraine, every workout and every punch you throw in this gym is going to make you better, stronger and feeling like a different person than when you first walked in. Back in September I competed in my first Tough Mudder and now with my head trainer Adam, I am preparing to compete in some charity boxing events to take myself to the next level. I am proud to represent and be a part of the Title Family and I know with this team in my corner, there is nothing that I can't accomplish. I also believe that if I can do it, anyone can do it too. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! I have been looking for something different to get me going, moving. I was tired of the basic gym thing! From the minute I was greeted at the door until the very first class started, I was guided through how each step would work. Steve and then Adam took the time to explain the classes, the timing breakdown of each class and the overall strategies. Over the last month, each class has been better than the next. I leave dripping every time! ALL of the instructors bring something different to the table and you can definitely find what works for you. High energy and clear instruction is all you can ask for! My husband and I did a free trial class. It was a good workout , but as a PT, I found the lack of verbal cues for form and body mechanics a little disturbing. I have a bad knee and I told the instructor who did not seem too interested. After a few weeks, my husband developed a heart condition & was told NOT to box by his cardiologist. They would not let him out of his contact! He had to pay $150 to do so. Very nice, professional people.... NOT!!!!! read more

I generally don't expect the same caliber when comparing Manhattan studios to Long Island ones but this place is nothing short of a joke. Adam, on his power trip high horse, was so extremely overwhelmed by his packed out 8 person class that he had to resort to whining, yelling, and shouting to get his point across. There was nobody at the front desk so I waited at the door. When I finally gave up and walked in, he screamed that I leave and that he cannot help me. I contested that I am from the city, woke up, drove a long distance while home visiting family and he said that he could care less and to get out of the studio. It's pretty pathetic. I'm eager to get in touch with management despite their slow turnaround. If you do go here, don't even bother signing up and getting locked into that expensive contract. Go through ClassPass. It'll save you money and is more flexible. Also, if you get yelled at by little Adam, you can stop going altogether! They LOVE ClassPass users at this location!!!! Note to Adam. It's 2019. Understanding you might be years behind manhattan trends, you should stop disrespecting people just because they use an alternative platform that YOUR STUDIO IS REGISTERED WITH. read more

I belong to Title in Ann Arbor, MI and am in town for the weekend for a family wedding. I called to see if I'd be able to go to a class or two while I was in town and Steve, the manager, said absolutely! Once you're in Title, you're family! So I came into Adam's class and Steve's class and they were both unbelievable! They both had great energy and I got a great workout at both classes! I highly recommend Title in Syosset!! read more

Watching out before signing the contract! People have to pay extra one month fee before canceling membership successfully. It is ridiculous!!! And It's bad for people who have injuries like bad back or bad knees. The movement will make injuries worse. read more

I returned to Title on September 2 and I was very comfortable with all the safety precautions the owner had put in place. The classes have plenty of space and it is not fully packed which is fine with me. Both doors are open for circulation and there's wipes to disinfect all equipment. Given all the changes that COVID has forced upon our daily lives, I wanted to update my previous review. Since last summer, Steve, the owner of TBC Syosset who also happens to be vice chair of the NY Fitness Coalition, has focused all of his time and energy on making sure his club is a COVID-safe place to workout. To name a few, everyone is at least six feet apart at all times, masks and temperature checks are required, the floor and heavy bags are thoroughly cleansed after each class, and doors are left open (weather permitting) to allow better ventilation. These are just the things visible to members during the workouts. There are a ton of things Steve and his team do behind the scenes to keep the place COVID-free (the details of which Steve is more than willing to talk your ear off about, if you ask). After the club reopened last summer at 33% capacity, there were some minor changes in class schedules, trainers and exercises but the overall experience is still the same. I went back as soon as they reopened and haven't heard of one case of COVID spreading in the club. Highly recommended for both former and new members alike! read more

Great place! This is the cleanest and most friendly gym that I have ever visited. The guys there are so nice and welcoming. Totally not a "workout" person until I came here! Wanted to find a workout that was not boring and didn't make me feel like "when is this going to be over?" The class was highly entertaining and I sweat like a pig! Took a FREE trail and ended up joining right away. Steve was very accommodating to my needs also!
