The front desk greeted us and went through the waiver and first class process and had us sign the waiver for any injuries during today's class and took our photos. The owner wrapped our hands for the first and explained the importance of wrapping our wrists and knuckles to keep them stable. The wraps are $10 for a pair. Victor was our boxing instructor, seemed friendly and informative and an overall good trainer and walked around to check on our technique. We started with the 5 mins or so of warm-ups and then started our 8-3 min rounds of boxing with a minute break between each round and then 7 minutes of core work. It was a good workout. Will take more time to get more coordinated between the jabs, cross, hook and uppercuts. My arms and shoulder were good and sore within an hour and half after today's class. It was a fun and great experience. Great deal for unlimited check-ins a month for $99 for a 12 month membership. Would maybe do it again. Do be aware of signing on for the 12 month membership as I have heard from other members that they will come after you hard if you miss a payment or want out of your contract. Just be aware if you commit don't back out or it could be a nightmare. read more

Look, I used to take classes with this instructor. He pretended to be friendly, but instead ignored me in person. Didn't ask me about my workout. Only when I quit is he pretending to be buddy buddy. Good place to train, nice environment and intense workouts. I definitely recommend you to try it. They help you to wrap your wrist and prepare you for the 45 min class. Allows various styles for sessions: Different instructors has their own unique style of routines, thus one can try sessions from different instructors and pick up the class in which he/she is most comfortable with. Pre and post (warm-up and cool-down) sessions: These sessions are very helpful to maintain flexibility in the body, stretching and to overcome soreness in muscles. Shower facility available: Feels good to have shower facility especially if you have to go to attend any event directly after boxing. But the ISSUE is that at one time only one person could go in shower and dress-change, so even if you are in a hurry to shower and change dress after a session to rush for your other appointments, you would have to wait till the person using the only shower/changing room is done. read more

I've never done any type of boxing before but i saw an ad on Facebook one day and decided to try it out. Went in for a tour and ended up signing up. First off this place is exceptionally clean. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, there's always a warm welcome from the front desk when you walk in. The trainers are all really cool and made me feel super comfortable when i first started because i had no idea what i was doing. The workouts are insane, I'm dripping sweat by the end but they are so fun and go by pretty quick. Each trainer is different so I love that I'm getting a variety of workouts with each class I take. There are many classes they offer in a day so I can get to one before or after work which is nice. They have really went above and beyond to make me feel apart of their family, they keep me motivated and excited to work out. I'm excited to continue working out there! read more

I purchased a paid in full year membership right before Covid hit. I was only able to use it a few times before the lockdown. When they opened back up, I went in for a few more sessions but then had to put it on hold again due to my father being high risk. Since then, my father has passed and I'm in the process of moving. I have not been back since and was trying to get a refund for the rest of my money or transfer to a different location. The owner was willing to help at first but never gave me a resolution aside from offering personal training or asking someone to take over my membership during a PANDEMIC! Funny how they're so eager to get you in but when you want options to cancel, they insult you by stating the agreement is in plain English. Thanks! I CAN READ! Strong workouts that never get old or stale. I'd recommend for any fitness level or goal.

The energy here is bar non the best In Rochester Hills. Boxing and Kickboxing Professional instructors that are elite fighters throughout their career is so hard to find these days since true boxing gyms are non existent in this area. The owners at the Rochester Hills location are very accommodating and personable. The instructor lead classes teach form and function not to mention a hell of a great well rounded workout. It is simulated as if your boxing 8 rounds if boxing with not only hitting the heavy bag with different combos and techniques but core exercises and stretching in between for a great overall workout. I would recommend at least coming to try it out as your first class is free. I would be surprised if you weren't impressed. Prices per month are about $100 per month with unlimited visits and you will have to spend some up front costs to get gloves and wraps for around $100. Seems like a lot of money but my thought was it would cost you more than $100 just to have professional personal trainer just for one training session. The facilities are brained new and the set up of how the heavy bags are spaces about 6 feet apart in several rows are perfect for the trainer to instruct from the middle of the heavy bag area. Lockers, cool low knee impact tread mill and weight lifting section too, with a boxing wring for personal one on one sparring sessions and technique drills as well. I think If you saw half the advantages of Title Boxing Club that I do that you would be impressed too. read more

Positives: They are a friendly environment and you get in a great work out in a hour, with lots of classes throughout the week Negatives: the membership is not worth what you get. The cost is just as much as lifetime if not more. They try to push people into a membership without giving them all the information needed then ask for 200$ when they originally said 89$( which is still expensive). I had to go through a huge hassle just to cancel my membership, it was the worst thing Iv ever had to deal with with a club. They try to pry as much money out of you when you decide you want to cancel. Please explain to me how you get charged for a month that you don't expect to use not being able to cancel your membership due to covid?! Because you can suspend payments but you don't have the option to give your 30 day notice of cancellation of service?! Then, you have to cancel on a tablet?? I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get in shape or stay in shape. Anyone can do this. I've seen kids, old people, and even world champion boxers here. I'm not joking. They are super nice and take time to help you get the most out of your workout. The classes are group sessions where an instructor will lead the class through an hour long workout using heavy bags. Each person gets their own bag and the trainer gives different instructions for each "round". After you finished hitting the bag, the trainer leads you through a core workout, and by the end you're going to be very tired. But it's a good tired. You feel clear and proud, like you really accomplished something. This isn't just a workout for your body, it's therapy for your mind. read more

The Birmingham location allows for people to just show up that haven't reserved a bag, therefore class is overcrowded and you can't maintain a 6 ft distance from strangers. Sometimes you are asked to share a bag because they allowed so many people in the class. They need to tell people that if you didn't make a reservation on the Mind Body app, then you snooze you lose. Turn them away! Don't punish the people who followed the rules, reserved a bag and got there early! These are scary times and Covid protocols need to be adhered to for everyone's sake. read more

I have dropped in on a few Saturdays to get a feel for the place and because my regular boxing venue's schedule does not offer a Saturday morning class. Equipment and venue is new and the instructor is very knowledgeable ( a professional boxer ) and motivating. The feedback I would give is that there is a hard sell approach to sign up for membership instantly, this continues with texts and calls. I appreciate the follow up but the approach gets tired after a while. read more

I have been obsessed with Title Boxing club since I signed up last August. Boxing 60 is a perfect combination of plyometrics, cardio, strength, and a ton of abs! My experience and rating for the Troy location is compared to the Kentwood location; The trainers in Troy are extremely energetic and positive, and the owner is very nice. They understood that I move a lot due to my husbands job and they assisted in transferring my membership over, which went smoothly! The only semi-negative part is that they did charge me $10 every session on top of my membership ($5 for the class and $5 glove rental). I personally think if you have a membership it should be free anywhere but I heard many title franchises have this charge because they are individually owned. My advice would be to get to know the trainers and tell them your situation so that you can always be on the same page when it comes to membership and fees/transferring. I highly recommend this place though! read more

This gym allows you to find your best selg that you always envision and improve it every time! The routines can be challenging. Allowing your body to to never stop developing. I'll start with the positives: Title provides a great, fun workout that even people like me who hate working out will enjoy. And it's a great stress reliever to beat the crap out of a punching bag since beating up actual people who annoy you is frowned upon. The trainers are all super friendly and really good at what they do, and I never felt awkward going to a class by myself not knowing anyone else in the class. Now the negative: Trying to cancel. I had my membership for about 8 months before I had to cancel due to finances. I was finishing up my master's and had to cut back on hours at work in order to complete my internship, which was the last requirement for my degree. When I signed my contract, I made sure to ask how cancellation works and was told as long as I cancelled 30 days before my intended cancellation date, I was good. I signed my contract on the 7th of the month, and I went in to sign cancellation paperwork on the 6th, 31 days before I wanted my membership to be terminated. I knew I would get charged one last time for the month that I cancelled in, but 31 days later my membership would be done and I wouldn't get charged again. Or so I thought. About a week after I submitted paperwork I got a phone call confirming my cancellation and that my membership would be good until the next month. And then a few days before my termination date I got an email from the owner offering me lower cost membership plans in case I wanted to do that. Then sure enough, I look at my credit card statement a few days after my termination date and I was charged for another month. I called the club right away and was told I would hear from the owner to straighten this out. I got an email from him saying that my paperwork was submitted after a payment was charged (even though I submitted paperwork on the 6th when my contract showed I had until the next day) so I would have to pay for another month before my membership was officially over. After several emails back and forth getting no where, I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company to stop the payment and get a refund. If it weren't for the cancellation issues, I would have nothing bad to say about Title. I was originally thinking of going back once my internship was over and I had a full-time job, but now I won't be. Most people are going to have to cancel a gym membership at some point after getting one, and it shouldn't be a big hassle like it was for me. My advice: Ask lots of questions about what cancellation is like before signing up and make sure you have a clear picture of how to go about it when that time comes. I feel like they just wanted to get one more payment out of me (and most people probably don't fight it like I did) before terminating my membership for real. Great workout, nice clean facility, and some great trainers. Unfortunately, I won't be back. My friend and I signed up for a 6 visit package. After realizing they over charged us they made it a 7 package deal. We were told we could go to both the Farmington and Troy locations. After our third workout we were told we couldn't use the Troy facility because we signed up at the Farmington. Then we were told, after the fact, that we only had so many days to use the visits. Bad business. I would have continued to go but l'll take my business and my workouts elsewhere. read more

title boxing in chapel hill sucks! they have it set up so that the only way to cancel is in person. Most other clubs allow you to cancel on line. I have a broken foot and several upcoming travel plans. I don't want my membership any more but unless I go to the club in person, they won't let me cancel. This is bad business, bad customer relations and a deliberate ploy to make it difficult for people to cancel their membership. If they truly believed in what they were offering, they would not put barriers up for those who decide that they don't want to participate. read more

The lady wanted to fast talk me into a membership tried getting my personal info (all I said was I had cost questions) it sounded so good until I was smart enough R to ask about down payments. I don't think it's wise to leave out major charges of joining and only discussing monthly fees leaving out the 200 they want first.
