I normally don't write reviews, but I feel disrespected. I will also be writing a formal letter to…read moreyour main office, PeachState CU and others credit union compliance agencies in more detail of the events. Do not use Pinnacle CU, if you want to be treated fairly. I opened an account with pinnacle cu to establish relationships with them, knowing I would be buying a home within a year or two. I waited 6 months before applying for a used car loan. With a credit score over 700. I was declined. When I asked why, he said I have too many inquiries with a 700 score, he didn't know about the trade in. When the bill of sales was sent to him listing the full deal.....really? The loan officer was very condescending. Shannon was the only professional that I talked to at Pinnacle during this process. And by the way I was easily approved by Ally bank and Delta community CU within 10 mins.(I went with Ally Bank. Better rate then the CU...crazy...lol). Pinnacle you should do better when hiring unprofessional people that deals with your customers. I hear he's been there for awhile. There's no telling who else he made feel less than about a 700 score which is considered good...right? It really seemed more personal to me. He never called me back even after talking to Shannon on the matter a number of times. He finally called today, with an attitude. When I ask him why he didn't approve me, he cut me off and said, "we not worrying about that. Shannon told me you already got finance somewhere else. What else can I help you with NOW". He shouldn't be dealing with customers with that attitude. Credit Union supposed to be a better choice for customers. Less stress, happy professional employees, great service. This is not the case with your loan officer(that never gave his name) please do better. You have great employees there. Get rid of the unprofessional. There are way to many other great options as you see. Thanks, for listening.

After 5 follow up calls and an escalation to the regional office, I finally got a reply that I needed to submit additional paperwork. 3 weeks went by unnecessary.

Delta Community Credit Union - So far, no one have been able to tell me why the A2A transfer that I initiated 3 business days ago still hasn't been processed.

I used to hate coming here admittedly. It always seemed to take double or triple the time to get…read moredone what you needed to get done. Over the last year though Ive felt like there's been a shift. Not sure if its a change in management, staff or policy. However, they are alot quicker in getting some of your trivial requests done quickly e.g. getting a document notarized. Have always been a fan of this credit union in general so Im glad to see the service finally living up to my expectations. If you've never been a member of a credit union and you (like me) hate fees I can solidly can recommend this one. Of note, you only have to have $5 in your savings acct and from there I dont believe there to be any fees.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Decatur branch of Delta Community Credit Union…read more I visited the branch to withdraw $1,000 from my account, which had more than enough funds available. The transaction appeared to process successfully, and the withdrawal was immediately reflected in my account balance. However, the teller's cash dispensing machine never actually dispensed the money. The teller informed me that this was not the first time they had experienced issues with the machine, yet there seemed to be no clear process in place to immediately resolve the problem. Despite the fact that my account showed the funds had been withdrawn, I was essentially expected to leave the branch without my money and without a satisfactory explanation. What was even more concerning was that after the machine failed to dispense my cash, I specifically requested that they stop using the machine and audit it immediately. If the transaction had been processed against my account but no cash was dispensed, there should have been an overage in the machine that could help verify what happened. Instead of taking that precaution, the branch continued allowing other customers to use the same machine as though nothing had occurred. There appeared to be little urgency or concern regarding a malfunction that had just resulted in a customer being short $1,000. The lack of customer service from branch management made the situation even worse. The branch manager did not come out to address the issue until I approached her myself. When I did, she appeared unwilling to assist because I was speaking on the phone with the joint account holder. I was not on FaceTime or causing any disruption. Rather than focusing on resolving a serious banking error, I felt dismissed and treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience. The branch also refused to provide any notarized documentation or written acknowledgment that an error had occurred on their end. They confirmed that the funds had been withdrawn from my account, yet I was expected to leave without my money and without any formal documentation acknowledging the issue. To make matters worse, the branch manager was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to provide her full name when requested. There was little effort made to reassure me, investigate the issue, or provide the level of customer service that should be expected when a financial institution mishandles a customer's funds. When a bank error results in a customer being short $1,000, the response should be immediate, transparent, and customer-focused. Instead, I was left frustrated, concerned, and feeling completely unsupported. The fact that the branch continued using the same machine after it failed to dispense my money only added to my concerns about their procedures and commitment to customer protection. This experience was completely unacceptable and has seriously damaged my trust in Delta Community Credit Union.
