I knew that it was going to be a chore to get that red clay off of my car. After going back and forth a few times with all the details, I met Derek's Mobile Car Wash at my apartment during my lunch break. Since I had to get back to work ASAP, I left my car in their hands and headed back. I did feel kind of weird leaving my keys and my car with total strangers, but it really needed to be cleaned. Inside and out. Some time passed and then I get the phone call... you know the one where they tell you that your car is cleaned. I didn't have super high hopes because they cleaned my car without an outside water source or electricity. They were nice enough to bring my car up to the office for me so that I didn't have to take an Uber back home to get it. When I was waking up to my car I was in total shock. The service isn't always the best (I should give 4 stars for how eager they are to close in the final hour of operation, and how unfriendly they can become at that time), but the products are good, solid, affordable, and the pricing is not bad, the normal hours service is really great, and the best part is that all of your money is staying in the community because this store, which has a lot in common in terms of size and selection with a big box store, is actually a little family owned business with only this location! So it's an obvious upgrade to 5 stars for that.
