[[HIGHLIGHT]]This bar is beautiful but I found the quality of the food and drink not on par with the price.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's definitely overpriced. My friends and I came here to check out the Loewe popup but it wasn't much of a popup. They had two drinks themed for Loewe - I didn't order one but someone in my party did. Nothing about the drink looked like Loewe at all so it might as well have been a basic cocktail. They had some Loewe catalogs around but that's all I saw.

Had never heard of Titsou prior to going, but really enjoyed this speakeasy when I went. Cocktails were delicious, my favorite was the espresso martini which was perfectly balanced but the margarita was also fantastic. Tried a few bites as well and the spicy tuna bites were soooo so good. Service was top notch, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior was sleek and felt like a classic NY experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a special occasion place, or one to bring out of towers.

(big, deep breathe) [[HIGHLIGHT]]this place...a vibe, a statement, a ___(make up your own word here)___. Oh, sexy, that's what I'm looking for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here for Fouquet's Cinema Night on Sunday where I was treated to drinks and a lite bite at Titsou that was included in my ticket to see "The Substance." All were excellent. Service by the curley-cue mustache man was perfect. After this experience, I leapt on the cobblestone streets of Tribeca. Yea...it was that magical. I will return.

Felt like I was in gossip girl grad school. Very high class. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely decor it's like a jewel box.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks were quirky. The bartender was knowledgeable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reminds me of the Mark bar but Tribeca style a little more dressed down in comparison but still elegant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] definitely coming back

Beautiful spot within Fouquet Hotel. First come first serve. Cocktail menu is not very big and I feel like it could definitely be better. Le Jardin - kinda too sweet. Transatlatique - good but not very exciting. Steak Tartar bites were good. Prosciutto platter was good and the bread came with it was served warm!

Ordered a Cadillac Margarita (Casamigos) for me + Vodka Martini (Grey Goose) for my partner + thick Fries + Slice of Chocolate Cake Drinks weren't anything special but the fries were hreat and cake hit the spot. Actually, I'm so glad we stumbled in because their cute and short food menu is PERFECTION for lovers of small bites -- crab dumplings, caviar deviled eggs, spicy tuna crispy rice, shrimp cocktail, oysters, sardines, etc... Things I dream of all in one sexy, cozy place that whisks you far away from the streets of Manhattan. Our chairs were comfy, and there were many seating areas that looked equally as inviting. The bar was gorgeous, lighting was super moody. The room was daaark and not very busy on a Friday around 8-8:30 P.M which we appreciated. Our waitress was fabulous and so friendly, great with timing and checking in!

It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. We got the Butterscotch flip, Getaway driver, and Big trouble. These drinks were not it. Although the prices are okay($19 each), they definitely need some improvement. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement. Can't really recommend Split Eights over other cocktail bars around.

Our cocktails were delicious, music was on point, service didn't feel rushed at all. I was feeling adventurous and asked for a boozy gin-based cocktail.. loved it! My friend really enjoyed her drink as well. At $19 per cocktail, it's not the cheapest in the area, but also not the priciest either. Would absolutely recommend Split Eights to anyone looking for craft cocktails in the area.

He is the best mixologist in NYC. He danced with lemon slices cutting through pours of clear liquids from heights. He tossed and shook, and was precise and caring. A true artist. David made our night. The only reason I would ever walk back into this place is to sit at the bar and let David mesmerize me. FOOD: Broccoli rabe was fresh, but I needed a steak knife to cut through it. It was very al dente. Not cut properly, which is to cut crosses in the stems. Salad was fresh and crisp, high quality fennel and greens. Lovely. Agnoletti was divine. Home made. Focaccia very good with subtle flavors and just the right crust. Olive oil, good. The front of house staff was lovely, two ladies, and a friendly guy. Super lovely. Treated us like friends. Also the busboys were all gentlemen. I loved them. They brushed crumbs off the table with panache. The only complaint is the waiter was robotic, and issued rule after rule. No smile. EX: It was a freezing night. We wanted to order appetizer's first, and have a chance to look at the menu. He couldn't do that. "I need the whole order." Then one of us wanted to order the pre fixe dinner. "You can't do that. You both have to order it." He was very cold, a robot. To enjoy ourselves, we had to push through the horrible treatment. Too bad for the waiter, when I asked about the special pasta, he butchered the pronunciation, giving me a soft pitch to teach him Italian. I blasted him. C'est la vie.
