Classic sexy dimly lit cocktail bar with inventive drinks. The caprese martini is to die for if you like a savory drink. I made a reservation for 3 of us on a Monday night and I'm glad I did because even though they were not packed, they were still full. To be honest I don't remember the other drinks I ordered. I only remember the caprese martini because that's the only thing I will be drinking here from now on. Prices are what you would expect for craft cocktails in this area. Food wise we ordered the crab dip, oysters, olives, and cheese. Even though it was all good, I don't know if I would order food here again other than something small to peck on. Our server was lovely and made sure we were taken care of. The beautiful martinis and alluring interior would make this a great date night spot.

Very cool inside with a pool table but maintains an elevated vibe. Trendy hot spot kind of vibe. Delicious but pricey drinks. Food was surprisingly very good! It can usually get crowded, especially on the weekends and after work.

Jac's surpassed my expectations and I would love to come back here again. We sat inside and I wish it wasn't so cold but there was outdoor seating as well. The service is great and it was pretty quiet inside when I went on a weekend afternoon/early evening. I loved every food and drink I got here. The chips and cheese and truffle popcorn were so yummy and fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also so good and pretty and I got multiple cosmos. Both bread items I ordered were also delicious. Everything is plated beautifully too.

the jac's caprese cocktail was one of the best i've ever had. it completely delivered on the promise of having the exact flavor profile of caprese, you could literally taste the olive oil, basil, tomato, and balsamic flavors all together and somehow, it was delicious as a drink. it was actually crazy how u could taste each element of the caprese and it was literally a flavor explosion in my mouth. the lil cherry tomato just made it perfect. i've never had a cocktail like this before! i love the uniqueness of it.

Caprese martini and side car.

The cocktails were really great. Expensive, but that's not surprising for the area. We got the caprese martini, which exceeded expectations, and a side car - which wasn't on the menu but the bartender nailed it (taste and presentation) as though it was a signature cocktail. It's also a cool looking space ... only complaint is that there's not a lot of seating, so it can feel crammed. And there's only one bathroom which can lead to long lines. Don't be in a rush here but definitely grab a drink!

You could fly to Uganda and back before your cocktail arrives, so don't bother unless you want to stare your first date sober in the face for a prolonged period of time. As it gets late, the place gets crowded to the point where you will eventually get impaled by a pool table stick. Please bring back the smile, it was a great brunch spot :)

One star off for putting three people at the worlds smallest table when we could have fit in the smaller booth in the back. The cáprese martini is to die for. I do not like martinis but this basically tastes like a caprese salad in a glass. Very good. I got two zero proof drinks, which both were delicious and unique flavors. My friends and I split the crab dip - the portion was kind of small for $16 but very tasty

Drinks were pretty good but the real showstopper was the pie! Wow. It changes with the season but this time around it was concord grape. Really delicious and everything you would want it to be.

We stopped at Jac's for cocktails on a low key weekday afternoon and were seated immediately. Service was great and they recommended a few items but I had to try the signature Caprese martini. I liked it but I definitely get that it is not for everyone. You can really taste Caprese and it's a little bit of a mind whirl. You can easily pick one of the other cocktails - the espresso martini was also delicious. We didn't get any food so will have to pop by again.

Came here for work drinks and it felt a tad too trendy for work drinks. Nevertheless, it is a very nice bar, great staff, and good menu.

All the drinks keep with the tropical, fruity taste with a hint of spice. They are also broken up into categories (dry land = no alcohol, shallows = average amount of alcohol, and abyss (larger amounts of alcohol). The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. I had the French fries with kimchi ranch, which were underwhelming. Bartenders were cool and kept the drinks coming. I got in immediately without an issue or a wait, but it was right after a snowstorm. I've seen some people struggle to get in or have a long wait.

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.

Attaboy absolutely lives up to the hype…read more From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for something special. Our bartender, Zack, was phenomenal. Calling him a bartender almost feels like an understatement--he's a true cocktail craftsman. I was amazed watching him create drinks based simply on a few words or flavors we mentioned. It felt less like ordering a cocktail and more like collaborating on one. Of course, he also nailed the classics. The Clover Club and Gimlet were both perfectly executed, and my husband tried three different whiskey cocktails throughout the evening and loved every single one. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for from a speakeasy: dark, intimate, and unassuming. The space is small, which adds to the experience, although the bar stools are definitely not designed for settling in for a three-hour hang (my only minor complaint). But honestly, that probably helps keep the experience moving and allows more people to enjoy this special spot. Attaboy is a great example of why NYC has such a legendary cocktail scene. The drinks, the craftsmanship, and the personal attention make it clear why this place gets so much attention. We'll absolutely be back.
