It's hard to find smoothies that aren't loaded with added sugars, but this place seems to have curated a fine selection of smoothies not made with ice cream/sherbet or sweeteners (at least the ones I got). My husband I enjoyed smoothies 1 and 3. Although 3 is the most popular, we both slightly preferred 1. I think 3 is probably the most popular if you get it with orange juice since that's sweet. I got my 3 with almond milk to avoid a high blood sugar spike. We also tried the energy balls: peanut and lemon/blueberry. Both were delicious, filling, and flavorful. Would def bring my kids next time! Only complaint is that service was pretty slow. Wanted to try Juice Co. because it's a small business. They offer a few different kinds of smoothies and acai bowls with various toppings, as well as an assortment of healthy-ish snacks and other knickknacks. They also have some seating outside the shop, and the workers are friendly. I tried their standard acai bowl and the strawberry smoothie. I felt the acai base wasn't very acai forward and tasted more blueberry-forward. The base-to-toppings ratio wasn't what I expected, I felt there should have been more base and it should have been more frozen but instead it felt more closer to the consistency of a smoothie than a bowl. This is my new favorite smoothie spot in Los Gatos. They recently released the Matcha Berry, a strawberry and matcha smoothie. I loved that the matcha didn't overpower the strawberry, making it light, refreshing, and perfect after a workout. However, if you're looking for a strong matcha flavor, this probably isn't the drink for you since the matcha taste is very subtle. I've also tried the Smooth 02 smoothie, which tastes a lot like a piña colada. It was a bit too sweet for my preference, but it definitely resembles a piña colada. Tasty juices, smoothies, acai bowls, etc here! Service was also friendly both times I came in :) I tried both the blue majik bowl and the cold buster smoothie and both were very tasty! It was great on a hot day and left me feeling good and energized after. They also have a bunch of other healthy snack options here and prices were pretty decent for the quality you get. I wish the cold buster smoothie had more of a ginger flavor as I only got a slight hint of it. This area doesn't have too many acai spots so glad juice co is here. We got their House acai bowl and it was delicious! Super simple and straight the point bowl, the base is smooth and not too sweet which I liked. I'm not usually a honey or agave person but their nectar was really good on top of the granola. Was really excited to try juice co. after trying some samples at a recent Yelp Elite event. They're a little out of the way for my day to day, so I took the opportunity to spend a few hours to walk around in downtown Los Gatos and see what's new. The staff was very friendly and let me use my BOGO coupon on an acai bowl and a free smoothie. I got the large house acai bowl with extra granola, no coconut chips. I also ordered the smooth 2, also known as the lava flow, which is one of my usual favorites anywhere. The acai bowl is a solid 4/5. The fruit was sour but the toppings are generous. I really enjoy their granola and could eat that on its own. However the smoothie was very disappointing. It was flavorless and very sour. I felt bad asking them to either remake it or pick a different flavor since I used a coupon already, so I kept it but couldn't finish it. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit and definitely wouldn't get a smoothie again, but I'd still order the acai bowl and probably try a cold pressed juice instead. read more

Tried this little place out. Got the winter remedy because it's winter time and it just spoke to me. If it's your first time, as it was mine... right as you walk in, to the right there a big menu on the wall. I didn't notice and tried to read off the regular sized menu in front of the cash register and was struggling! Ordered my drink and waited a few minutes for it to be made. They ask for your name and call it when you're ready. They will step outside in case you decide to wait outside the store vs. waiting inside. Overall, my drink was pretty tasty but a little bit on the more bitter side I think because of the cranberry. Probably would get it again but would definitely come back to try another drink. I first tried Juice co. LG at a Yelp event last month; they were a vendor there offering samples. Their açai bowl sampler was the best thing I had there the entire night, and the people serving the items were very kind and patient (even finding a sticker for me when they thought they were out!) and I was delighted to learn that they're right here in LG. They had escaped my attention prior because I'm not big into juices or bowls, usually. But theirs hooked me and today was my second visit and I think I'm addicted! Taking off the lid, the bowl just smells lovely and looks so perfect. It tastes even better and I love their granola! Both times I've ordered curbside pickup (as parking can be challenging nearby) and both people who brought out my items were smiling and friendly, so the service rocks. I going to try to restrict myself to only going once a week, but I do believe it will be the highlight of the week! Really loved the smoothies at juice co LG. I got the #1 and husband got #3. The #1 (green smoothie with peanut butter) was blended really well and had great nutty flavor. Not too banana-y.
