This was one of locations near my childhood home, I would come here at least two times a month especially with my mom. The Pearl city location is even closer. I feel a difference compared to Ross's when I shop at any of the locations, quality of upkeep and merchandise selling here. Lot of free parking spots to choose from. I was just walking around TJ Maxx this morning with nothing in mind to buy. There is always so much selection and a I always find something to buy here. I stumbled on to the dog toy section and found dog toys for my pups for Easter. Fortunately I was able to get the same exact toy. I also was able to fund some treats for myself that I found for a better price than at the health food store. Since it is the Saturday before Easter the line was a bit long. The prices are obviously the draw to shop here. I only needed a little hone charger and found that easily by the cashier line. The reason for the low score is the stinky and nasty men's restroom! Do they even clean it? It seems abandoned for years. The stench of urine all over and the rust and mildew are nauseating. read more

One of my favorite TJ locations. Located right in the pearlridge mall, lies one of the best places to shop because let's face it we love designer brands without paying the outrageous prices. The selection is always top notch and I especially love the spring collections that always come in for clothing and just the other day found a beautiful Easter dress for my daughter for her Easter program for school. They have a great selection of toys and I love shopping here for gifts as well especially kids who enjoy the variety and we enjoy the value too! Been here many times @ TJ Maxx located in Pearlridge shopping center uptown but never got a chance to review this business. This store is very clean and spacious and it reminds me of Marshall the lay out. It could be affiliated who knows but I like shopping here . Located right below Ross's on the Diamond head side of Pearlridge. I was browsing in the pet section and I found my nephews dog treat. It's sweet potato dog treat and he likes it so much originally I found it at Marshall Ala Moana . Than I couldn't find it anywhere else so I stumbled on it at TJ Maxx which was wonderful. Discount shopping in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii... Pearlridge Mall is quite a maze. There's a tram that customers can take for $1 to get from one complex to the other. The complexes used to be called Uptown and Downtown, but they have Hawaiian names now... Basically, Mauka (mountain side) is Uptown and Wai Makai (ocean side) is Downtown. I happened to be at the Mauka side when I saw TJ Maxx at the far end. I had time, so, I browsed... And, of course, I found a great gift! I read Jessica P.'s review about the benefits of being a Rewards Member. (Apply for the credit card.) Ten percent off the first purchase and five points on every dollar spent at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods sounds like a good deal! Plus, after obtaining 1000 points ($200), members get a gift certificate for $10. I am looking forward to getting invited to Member Mornings where coffee and donuts are served and names are drawn every hour for gift cards! I love this place. It is my favorite place to shop because you get the low low prices for really good quality stuff. I always go to the mens section and for a polo ranges from $10-$20, but the regular price to compare before was like $50! They have great deals for really nice quality items. I also love how they have a clearance section, and they usually have some nice things there. Love the workers there they are very nice and welcoming. read more

1-7-2022 Went here today to try to buy matching photo frames for the kiddies' school photos. Sadly there weren't too many 5x7s to choose from. I ended up getting some fur bebe toys and one item for valentines. Now that Pier 1 has closed and said bye bye this is one shopping option. I recently started coming for home decor: frames, candles, unusual things that might catch my eye. They were good for stocking stuffers the previous Xmas. I like that they have charming seasonal bric a brac. On the way to check out the other place that usually has many frames. It's not Tuesday but it's all good. Wish me luck. TJ Maxx has become the first store to stop before heading into Pearlridge Uptown since the entrance is outside from the parking lot. This TJ Maxx definitely has a more Ross feel compared for the Ward location. The items offered here are more fit towards families and necessities. The first thing you see at Ward are handbags and Runway clothes. This store is clean, bright, and organized. The staff are friendly with good customer service. Overall, a decent place to shop for useful and necessary items. read more

Nevertheless, the merchandise here is awesome, of good value, and at great prices. Customer service is always top notch, too!! My usual pick ups are kitchen gadgets, bedroom linens, powder room accessories, clothing, gift bags, and treats for the pupper. But, I'm also always on the lookout for a great piece of furniture - I like the finds from India! Seasonal holiday items are also a good deal! I'd probably save this store and Ross as my last stops when shopping at Pearlridge. Only because I am the one to walk out with bulky home decor items and bags of clothes and beauty finds smh lol. Wouldn't want to lug it all over the mall and I definitely don't want to be seen leaving it in the car. You could probably put it on hold, but who knows with the Holiday crowd and seasonal employees it could get mixed up. I came in specifically for beauty items to create a spa gift birthday package for my friend and business partner. I found tons of cute stuff all within the same color scheme, pink. I got the basket in the back corner and started to fill it up with my finds along with a Lmour gift card from next door. Got everything I needed and some for me hehe.. I finally found small mason jars to create diy sugar scrub, something I've been on the hunt for in forever. Also, I scored a glass cookie jar with a chalkboard sign on it on CLEARANCE! That's usually the first spot I gravitate towards before I start swerving through the aisles. Kudos to Ailani? (Sorry I just forgot it, but she was working this morning 12/3/19). She was so sweet and so patient with my grandma. My grandma didn't know how to pay her TJ maxx/Marshall's card and she explained a few options and had written down the deets. Ailani nor I could locate the phone number to call for payment and what the app was called.. The pamphlet only listed the address to mail payment too.. The fact that she didn't rush us nor push us aside because we already had a credit card and she wouldn't be getting some sort of company reward really says a lot! read more

Omg, totally love this store. I watched a YouTuber's video on cosmetic finds last night so I was determined to find some good deals. I couldn't believe that I found the Becca primer (the company went out of business so I was actually in search of a new primer). I bought the last two and I was so happy! I also got a nice eye palette too! Also found a throw blanket, some organizational bins, fake plants and floating shelves! My husband wasn't too thrilled when I asked him to go get me a shopping cart. Lol, but it was worth it. We come to the mall often and like to walk through TjMaxx for their baby section. I found a really cute 3 piece set for my toddler and when I went to check out the cashier took the hanger connecting the extra shirt apart and gave it to another lady. I asked her where they were going with it and she stated there's no tag so I told her "yes that's bc it's a 3 piece set with the one you took it apart from" she went to ask for it back and the lady got all sassy saying it's a 2 piece set and literally pulled apart the set counting it out loud "ONE, TWO" with attitude. So I told the cashier, it belongs together the sticker says it in the clothes and if they want I could get another one on the rack bc there were a few. So they had someone check and came with another set exactly the same with THREE pieces bc the lady who was the "COORDINATOR" named Jennifer made it seemed as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I didn't appreciate the way she approached my situation and the fact that I SEEN her have an attitude about it upset me most!!! So with that being said I will say my experience tonight was the WORST!!!! Customer service was so horrible bc of Jennifer! And if she is in management then what a POOR way to represent this store!!! Came here looking for pillows. Hubby scored on pillows for $4.00 each on yellow tag. I found some Becca lipsticks for $9.99! Score! They didn't have very much selection on clothing. I was disappointed but I did find some good makeup. They had so much stuff! I am a fan of TJ Maxx and was glad to find this here. When I paid for my lipsticks, the lady was super nice to me. She was very sweet. The store looked fairly neat and not messy. I would definitely come back here to shop. Parking is around this store as it's located in the mall. I highly recommend. If you've read my other recent post on a nearby store, you'll understand why I really like this TJMaxx location. One-stop bargain hunting! They open a bit later than our first stop (next door), which works out perfectly because once we did our first stop, offloaded our purchases into the car, we were ready to go for more bargain hunting fun. The TJMaxx entry is really conveniently located, close to parking, which was super nearby and easy to find on an early Saturday morning. I love that all of the TJMaxx locations I've been to are nicely organized, clean, and bright. This store was no different. There was a fun seasonal Halloween section, pet section, as well as the usual clothing, housewares, luggage, cosmetics and cookware sections. Mens and kids clothing were there, too. One of the things I like to find at TJMaxx are some nice looking condiments that I have fun trying. This trip I found a honey mustard aioli that looks like it will make sandwich prep quick and easy, eliminating one step in the process (no separate mayo and mustard application). The store was quiet and neatly organized--maybe one of the benefits of early Saturday morning shopping. HALLOWEEN SHOPPING REVIEW 2014 I now have another store I can add to my list of Halloween shop stores on Oahu, now that Price Busters is gone. Ironically, this store is in the old Price Busters location. Target really, really sucked eggs this year for Halloween stuff. Even in the middle of October they were slowly rolling out their stuff....VERY VERY slowly. Shelves were mainly empty and boring - and I've been going weekly to both Target locations. Very sad. TJ MAXX doesn't even come close to the big chain stores like Wal-Mart and Tarjay but they had a real nice selection of Halloween stuff this year. My best finds were the black framed Poison skull and Spider Bite Mirrors. I've seen these on Pinterest a while back and had no idea where on earth they sold these things...until now!! I like TJ MAXX for holiday decorations but not so much for toys or clothing...a bit more pricey for factory rejects/seconds than Ross' but TJ MAXX toys are higher end than Ross'. For clothing, I'll still probably go to Ross' but for Halloween, TJ MAXX beats Ross' into the ground. read more

Who is TJ Maxx? I love TJ Maxx the store. They're like Ross' but better and smaller. They have just enough stuff for me to browse and buy. I don't have the time to go through every rack and aisle. So TJ Maxx works for me. I also love their selection of quality things. I picked up a wine glass made in Germany for $3. I also saw many hang bags from Italy but they're over $100. As for customer service, 90% of the time I'm here someone will ask if I need any help. Way to go! They also have rewards program at no cost. I must say I like Pearlridge TJ Maxx the most because they seem to have better selection for some reason. read more

This one is located in Pearl ridge mall. The parking situation just depends on what day and time you go there. The workers are usually helpful and the line goes by quickly. The only thing is that sometimes I feel this location is kind of messy or their inventory is lacking. I've found those felt boards that you can make messages on at this location. They run at least $20 online and I bought it at TJ maxx for about $12. I love shopping at TJ Maxx because of the deals. This location may not be as big as other locations but you can still find great finds here. I think that since it's in the mall that there is more foot traffic. I will definitely be back to this location. read more

TJ Maxx - Holidays hours 2018 - Department Stores Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

This TJ Maxx is located in the Pearlridge Mall right next to Moe's Southwest Grill. There are two exits/entrances. One entrance is in the mall and the other is on the street side from the parking lot. This location is no bigger than any other TJ Maxx on island and doesn't offer anything different either. I love this location as much as all the others. I am bargain hunter so I definitely take my time trying to find anything I think I might need and honestly, most times I do. Makes it hard to stop buying things! I have literally found everything I've needed from here. Shoes, luggage, cooking pans, kid's snacks, dog's snacks, clothing, jewelry... I mean EVERYTHING! Like seriously, can you stop?! I have to admit, this store is a bit higher priced than Ross, but the quality can speak for the prices. There are clean bathrooms available for customers to use. They also have a huge dressing room with great lighting. The one thing that disappoints me about this location has to be the selection of clearance items. This is the one location I can never find great clearance finds. I am a bit of a penny pincher after all. If I can save on certain purchases, it gives me room to splurge elsewhere in my budget and spending! I'd definitely recommend, maybe you might find better deals than I! read more

I don't ordinarily go out of my way to go to a TJ Maxx, however if it happens to be in the vicinity I shop at - it most definitely makes my list of MUST go to. It is a discounted store and it appears to cater to the higher end discount shoppers (ex. Ross shoppers). Unfortunately I don't have the patience to sort through racks and racks of clothing that will most probably sit in my closet with the price tag. I bypass the clothing....peruse their shoes and go directly to their house ware/furniture department. I find that their home accessories and house ware department by far surpasses those of its island competitor. I found a Ralph Lauren comforter set for the fraction of the price if I had purchased it directly from Ralph himself. Bargains can be found without feeling like your digging in a pile of poop. I love the changing inventory that is kept in an orderly fashion. I also have found Turkish and Polish Pottery ware at this location (if you're a fan of that - and I am). HUGE selection of MERCURY GLASS products - also another novelty that I love as much. Overall, I appreciate that TJ Maxx is here and that I can shop comfortably without feeling like we are really poor for shopping there. I like the idea of getting a few pieces to accent your home without going overboard and making you a borderline subject of that show Hoarders. I walk through TJ Maxx almost every day during my lunch break and there is always something to look at! There is a great variety of items to choose from your family. Clothes, furniture, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, beauty products and even pet products. I come here when my dog Muppet chews through his stuffed squeaky toys, which is quite often, and buy toys for $6. He know when I bring home a tj maxx bag, he digs right in for his new 'victims'. The store is usually neat and in quite good condition. The items here are a better quality than Ross upstairs and can be bought at an even better price. The cashier line can be quite slow at times. There are usually four or five people working at the counters, with only one or two actually checking out customers. Every time I check out they ask me if I want to get their credit card. I wish they would only ask me once and record my answer so they don't ask every single time. Even if you say you don't want it, sometimes they will still try to push it. Um, no thanks. If you asked me to describe T.J.Maxx I'd probably reply "it's like a Nordstram Rack and Ross Dress for less store".....that's of course if you've been in those stores. The stores have an emphasis on women's fashion and very limited selection for the opposite gender. Being of the neglected gender I give this store only 3 blinks overall. There are other items like name brand home accessories, food items, phone accessories and more, at highly discounted prices......but no Men's shoes to be found any where....ho...hum mm....but I guess what really matters is that the wife and daughter are often able to find some great deals here and save me some pocket change. In fact the wife just found some earrings, bracelet and a Diane Von Furstenberg handbag, all for just a little over 2 Benjamin's....and She's very happy. And when the wife is happy the world is a better place to live! At least for myself. read more
