Beautiful classy store with nice crisp Hawaiian type prints on cute styles. Good for attending dress up but not dressy attire. Wanted to find a matching outfit for hubs, Doc and I to wear on our anniversary on our holoholo trip. So many nice colors, prints and styles but couldn't find our sizes in the same print. I was the only customer walking into this store. No greeting, no eye contact from the workers. Noticed this store doesn't have a lot of the items that you can find on their website. Couldn't find a couple of tops, so decided to shop on-line using my cellular phone. After mentioning to the cashier that I had trouble with my order, although she was polite, she was unable to help me. I walked out and went to the Ala Moana location. I will give my utmost respect to this location. Not only the customer service is superb but the atmosphere in this location give a holistic service to its patron. Clean, welcoming environment and most of their products are well designed and displayed. Bandit got few clothes from here before our Juander Philippine trip. As usual, the patterns didn't disappoint us! I also love the mini discussion/facts on their prints as the ever friendly staffs (wish I could remember their local names) showed and explained to us the story behind each prints. I felt like I am in the museum and I couldn't be more thankful of all the generous information they instilled us at that time. Highly recommendation to shop here. Was really surprised and nice of her to place my shirt in a dressing room as I continued to shop. Job well done. The superb level of customer service and aloha was felt as soon as I walked in. There's a small stand in the front to sanitize your hands (which I feel EVERYONE should do, to be respectful of the garments/clothes). While I was walking in, the open layout, plus how the walls are merchandised and displayed. It made me feel very happy and at peace within this beautiful store. In my mind, like fashion museum. Topanga helped me so much and gave excellent customer service as she small talked with me about the brand and history. I really appreciated her kindness and authenticity as she spoke so passionately about the brand. I also love that every Christmas, the store has the most amazing and breathtaking Xmas trees displays that rivals Honolulu Hale without the crowds. The attention to detail and intentional way of everything like the layout and how the store is divided and the color story/schemes is unlike any store I've seen. On the back left corner, they have one of the nicest fittings rooms I have ever seen. Topanga explained to me, that they have always kept it open, so customers can try on the clothes and decide if the clothes would be a perfect fit. The price point of the clothes is a bit pricier, it could start about $128. The price might be high for "clothes" and there is a market for these high end garments. Touching the fabric, it feels very soft and luxurious, almost like butter. These garments will last a long time, if you take great care of it. Overall, if your in the mall and looking for high quality Hawaiian printed garments with unique cuts and styles, here it is! All of the items displayed in the store are beautiful. However, I was mesmerized by the Leiahi Kanaloa (seafoam) tote. It was absolutely gorgeous. Manaola's designs first caught my eye through Instagram. Since then, he's been increasing in popularity in the islands and branching out around the world. If you haven't read his story, read it because it will inspire you further to support this local business. With the design being hand-carved onto bamboo laths with the use of the traditional 'ohe kāpala (a bamboo stamp) that is also known to be used on kapa (bark cloth), Manaola does not disappoint as he is right up there with other top local fashion designers. The price is a little steep but with the prints being similar, you'll find the print will also differ on each item in its place on your dress, top, etc. Service is friendly, professional and helpful. Love the clothes, style, color, and prints are beautiful. Store and employees are so nice and helpful too. But return/exchange policy is the worse. My son received a shirt for xmas but no gift receipt, just needed another size. Shirt was in stock but because we didn't have a gift receipt, and the person who gifted the item wasn't in the system and I couldn't provide an another name who may have purchased item, I couldn't exchange it. This location is a bit smaller than the one in Ala Moana, but I'm so glad that there is finally one that's closer to the west side of the island. This store has some of the designs from the Ala Moana location, but also new ones, too, such as the Kinolau collection. I'm super excited to be adding more of these beautiful pieces to my closet. I have over 25 items to date, so yeah, I'm a big fan of the brand. Can't wait to get to know the staff here, too, as I've already made friends with the Ala Moana ohana. read more

Aloha, Today I had a great experience at Pearlridge Location . Two staff workers greeted me with an Aloha, asked me if I need assistance which I did. Very attentive to my needs I. Getting sizes , showing me the different prints that came out. Showed me to the changing room which by the way looks like a Hotel Lobby beautiful. Mahalo to them both. What I really love about Manaola are the Sizes that is available for those Hefty Big Polynesian men! I seen a size 7X. That makes me appreciate the detail and time that he took to not forget every shape that there is. I was so happy to see manaola move up to a bigger location and how well deserved they are. Unfortunately my review is based off the store itself. The first thing is for people who does not know the brand. I saw many people trying to read their sign that is place in a unusually spot. Instead on top of the store entrance, its name is on the left of the doors entrance. And in the middle their a hole in the wall. I'm not too sure if they are still renovating but I hope they complete it soon. But walking in it still has that Manaola welcome from the staff and energy is amazing. Manaola is a great addition to Pearl Ridge. Many shops have been closing in the mall and now with Manaola there I have actually gone to Pearl Ridge twice in a month which is more then I have gone in the last 6 months. The clothing prints and styles are perfect for daily work and casual wear. The employees show much aloha even when they have been busy. Yesterday Kawika helped us and was very knowledgable about the different styles and prints. It was very busy in the morning and a group of tourist Japanese ladies were in the store. I was very impressed on how the young lady employee helped them and while I was waiting in the line to pay Kawika who was at the register could understand and spoke their language. I will definitely be going to Pearl Ridge more often and visiting Manaola now that they are closer to the west side. Aloha! read more

When entering the store on my last visit there I was greeted. Looked around and asked for a size in a dress that that didn't have on the floor. They went to the back and found my size. I asked to try it on which wasn't an issues. Dressing Rooms we're clean and the service was absolutely wonderful on this visit. I purchased the dress and they wrapped it for me. I just had an absolutely terrible experience at this store. I have been shopping at Pearlridge Shopping Center since I was a Keiki and have never felt more unwelcome in a store in my life! For being a brand that aims to perpetuate and sustain Indigenous culture I would hope your sales associates would aim to do the the same. It should be innate, as we live in a community and culture that lives Aloha. I did not feel the Aloha in this store. To the sales associates there this evening- Shame! Shame on the way you looked at me and even my 5 year old Kāne up and down! Who by the way is well mannered and touched nothing! That is so shame! And if you demand everyone be sanitized before they touch a garment perhaps stand at the door! Not in the back, Don't come yelling across the room Sanitize!! Sanitize!!! Rudely spraying your spray! Yes, I touched a dress to feel the fabric, and would have had no problem sanitizing, (I sanitize before and after every store on my own) and had you been near the entrance and greeted me I would have gladly sanitized then, But to yell it out! Running up rudely Spraying me and my Ohana, is ridiculous! Btw, I have been there before dressed "nicely," not in my rainy day comfy wear and without my son and received totally different treatment! Clearly judging based on appearance is an issue! Or is your issue with keiki in the store? Shame! I don't expect this at a store in Pearlridge. I hope things change! I was greeted by this lovely young lady named Jazz. This girl is so sweet! She dealt with me for maybe almost an hour trying to find the right outfit for me. I'm super picky & boring so shopping for special event outfits is not my thing but thank God for Jazz because she was so friendly & so patient! I originally wanted a skirt I found online but learned it was only sold online. Because I procrastinated I had no time to order online, I needed an outfit TODAY.‍ Jazz helped me pick out several different pants, tops, and dresses that I may have liked. After almost an hour I finally found one. Lol. Thank goodness for Jazz, if she wasn't so patient & friendly I would've went home empty handed again & still trying to find an outfit. Recently travelled back from the mainland and stopped by the pearlridge location to see if they had any of the tops i saw online to try out. Unfortunately they sold out before i could get there. Besides that the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They offer hand sanitizer as you enter (btw smells so good) and they have really good service as they let you browse but check up on you frequently. The two boys who were helping me recommended some pieces i never thought i'd like but i ended up really liking them and plan on purchasing hopefully on Black friday if they have one this year due to COVID. But overall very happy with the two gentlemen who helped me and the entire Manaola company, one of my favorites in the islands. definitely recommend getting in the store. read more

If I got to be honest I was very unsure about going to the store. I thought that I wouldn't really find something I like or if the customer service would be bad. But I was very wrong. When I came in I got the biggest Aloha greeting with a lovely smile from them. All my nerves went away. I browsed around and was introduced by Ku'uipo and David and ask if it was my first time here. I said yeah and they showed me around the store and explained the prints because each print has a back story. My favorite print is the Pewa because it represents healing and the way the patterns flows beautifully. I'm obsessed with their material especially the spandex collections. My overall experience Is a 10/10 because 1, the store and the clothings is perfect and 2, the staff went above and beyond for me even though I didn't end up getting anything.
