Last week i boughy my friend a pair of gorgeous earrings for 15$ this week i bought dad a carry on bag for his trip for 40$ and i also bought my nieces 3 dressed and i bought myself a chi iron for 70$!!!! Fri 12/29/17-went into TJ Maxx in BP Mall to shop Xmas clearance items with my Mom. I found a silver crystal glittery makeup bag with handle but no tag or I'd in the product. Asked a floor sales rep & was redirected to cashiers for help. Got up to register & explained the situation asking if they could give me the clearance price as I was interested in buying it. At that point, the cashier told me she'd be right back & she left the register to the makeup Dept of the store.She came back with a plain makeup bag with no handle, it was cheap navy blue shiny plastic & had a price tag on it of $9.99. She said this navy blue bag & my selected sparkle bag with handle were the same brand and that they were the same price because the sparkly bag was NOT a holiday bag or a clearance item, I was mistaken. I countered stating I knew precisely where I'd picked up the sparkly bag with no tag & it WAS indeed off the holiday clearance rack & my Mom concurred so they understood we weren't telling a story. I'd like to say the two bags shared NO SIMILARITY except brand name. Then my cashier turned to another cashier (an African American woman middle aged) who began to chastise me about the item NOT being a holiday item & that the two bags were each $9.99 even though they were radically different in color, shape and size. I again explained where I got it and she told me it came from the makeup department NOT the Xmas clearance and then turned her back on me to attend to a customer dismissing any further conversation of the matter. VERY RUDE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I then went to seek a Manager for assistance. The only person on the floor we could locate was a gal in the clothing dressing rooms. We explained and she offered to call the manager stating she was in the front at the register. I asked whom was the manager & she said it was the African American gal who was so rude. At that point, I left the store. Lo and behold - we went a few doors down to Ross & I found the same case on holiday clearance for 50% off Plus it was filled with 4 high quality bath items all for $9.99. Needless to say..... I will no longer patronize TJ Maxx in Buena Park Mall due to being treated as though I was trying to get something for nothing and that I was telling stories at the register to the cashiers. NEWS FLASH to that Manager - I realize you deal with many types of folks but not ALL of us are the same, next time try treating each person with some courtesy, respect & dignity rather than like they're a liar trying to get one of your products for a cheaper price. You can thank the rude, dismissive, condescending, unprofessional African American Manager for this review. I am spreading the information far and wide so no one else is treated like this. read more

Love it! Stopped by this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see a nice, well kept store with name brands at great prices. Awesome addition to this crappy mall. I even bought an American Eagle top I had previously seen for $30 at Marshall's for just $6.99. This is now officially the best store in Bpm. read more

Store is located in downtown Buena Park in the shopping mall plaza. Plenty of parking and the store service is relatively good since there always seems to have enough cashier for check out. Clothes selection are only okay and the prices are similar to other outlets but if the selection of clothes were more, it would be better. read more

So I just have to do a shout out to the female security/under cover. I was there last Sunday and I was waiting for my wife by the entrance that leads into the mall. The under cover female then tried stopping a shoplifter. The shoplifter took off but dropped the clothes. The female under cover kept her cool and was chill. I've seen other undercovers at other stores, and they act like if they were the police. Not to mention they are assholes at times. I told her, I respect what she does. Hi I purchased a simple human trash can for $80 from the Buena Park, ca location. A couple of things went wrong today 1st I tired to apply for the Tjmax credit card and it took 10-15 mins because the computers were acting up and then the printer for recipts wasn't working , so they had to run my information twice. Then after waiting 15 mins I got denied so I said it's okay I'll pay with my debt card, mind you not I have 2 boys 4 & 7 whom are very antsy. I paid with my card just so that another issue occurs. the receipt wasn't printing, so they call for the manager Vanessa and she tries to do it and still nothing, so Vanessa says hold on let me go try in my office and print it out. And I've waited another 15-20 mins just so that she can come out and say I can't print your receipt and if I can write the my address and they'll mail it too me. Over all something that should of took nothing but 5-8 mins to do took about 30 mins just for one purchase. But the associates nor the manager didn't offer a discount nothing just a sorry, even tho I mentioned, " waiting this long I should get a discount" but the 2 associates bluntly ignored Me . This is very disappointing, mainly this is my First time going to tj max and it will difinity be the last. read more

As far as tj max's go this one is good. Workers are always friendly and the selection on womens wear is plenty. Dressing rooms are clean and a decent size. My mom and i come here often for decor for every season and this store always has something to make our home feel extra special. Thank you all for your hard work. read more

Yes it was super clean and organized. How long has it been since grand opening. Cause there's only four stacks of clothes for women. Not many to choose from. No variety. I think Ross has more clothes than TJMaxx. And really nice. Kinda disappointed. read more

Within a week and a half I've had to make 3 returns and after today, I won't be returning although it's the closest location to me. The store itself is a complete mess. I acknowledge it's the holidays but there's no excuse for just how much of a disaster the store is. Employees don't check items as they bag. I've gotten home and found pieces were missing or broken, forcing me to make a return. I've had my items bagged so poorly, a full bottle of liquid that wasn't checked that the cap was secure, leaked through the bag therefore soaking through the seats of my new car that's only a month old. Today when I came to make an exchange, the two cashiers at the front were radiating the most negative energy and being blatantly rude to customers in front of me. Jorge and the red head were so convinced everyone was stupid, that they weren't really listening to the customers issues. Including the pet spray bottle that had leaked.. I had called the day I had made the purchase to verify with the manager it would be no issue to make the exchange. I had explained to Jorge (who had the most passive aggressive attitude) what happened and he sent me to grab the replacements. When I walked back up, the red head offended me when she asked if I had used more than 3/4th of a giant pet sanitizer spray in less than 48 hours. The exchange was approved, do your job! read more

Well, I wondered back inside the doors of TJ Maxx. And just to clarify they now have several end caps of long dresses. Maybe 4-6 with some random dresses. I asked the girl in the dressing room if someone could look up to see if there was a product in the store and she said She didn't know. Asked someone else. She said yes but at the front of the store. Went to the front of the store to get told "no, they couldn't look stuff up". This place needs to get their staff trained. read more

I just came to this TJ Maxx to return a Anastasia Cream Contour kit. As I waited in line for almost 20 because of how busy it was, I was finally called up. The cashier's name was "Jorge S." Before giving him my item, I asked if I could double check that I gave him the right one since I own a variety of new Anastasia contour kits. He rolls his eyes at me and sighed a rude "yes." I found that very unnecessary to do. I love coming to this TJ Maxx, but people like JORGE S. make me not want to come back. read more

I love coming to this TJ Maxx for watches, jewelry, and makeup/ beauty. This store is always so neat, and I always find great items. There is a young girl in jewelry who always helps me out named Adriana and she is always so kind. I am surprised that she even remembers my name! Overall a great store. If this place was a lil bit more organized I would definitely give a 5 star. I love the amount of different products they have in the beauty section. Found some really nice picture frames. I went here on 12/26 after Lunch at Joe's. Got a total of 4 items. Waited in the line...yes, there is one line for everything (customer service, returns, check-out...) one male and one female cashiers. Waited for a good 20 mins or so. Finally mine turn. I got to the counter, pulled out my card and the read the sign that said "....insert your card with chip here"...which I did, assuming it's like other places to speed things up. The female cashier snapped and told me to remove my card. Saying I have to wait until she is done, then when she allow me to , then I can use my card...I pointed at the red sign and she said it doesn't matter.....what was the point of the bright red sign then? Anyhow, I waited a good few mins for her to finish scanning 3 items, then comes the box of Xmas chocolate which was on sale 50%. It took her a good 2 mins to be able to deduct 50% for that one item. Told me to insert my card and paid.I rushed out as I was so late after that. As I was walking I was asked what I bought so I pulled out the receipt and realized she charged me one item twice!. So I had to go back. Get in the same long line. She saw me and gave me a dirty look. when I got to the front, just my luck, I got her again. I dropped the bags on the counter for her to see all the items along with the receipt. Telling her one item was charged twice. She was confused. I told her I bought 4 items total, the receipt said 5 total, also one item, was scanned twice by looking at the receipt. Took her awhile to see that (my finger was pointing right at it). She then did not know what to do, turned to the male cashier and asked. He said just do a return on the item....she was still confused. She bugged him again (he was helping someone), he told her to scan the original receipt. She was unable to do this....just pick up the receipt that has a bar code and scan it. She was not able to do this. So we had to wait for him to be done and help us. He came over, took the receipt, place it under the scan, and scan it...wow, that was so hard for her!! and he was handling the rest while she smile and said it happens sometimes and keep smiling like it was not her fault. No, it only happens if you dont look and scan one item TWICE!! No apology and wasted so much of my time!!! read more
