I loved coming to Fairlane when I was a kid and running up and down the ramps. These days the only store worth visiting at this mall is Macy's and it's a fairly small location compared to the Macy's at other malls. Most of the mall is closed storefronts or cheap clothing stores. There aren't a lot of options at the food court either. It's only a matter of time until Fairlane closes down like so many other malls in the metro area.

I don't know who this young lady was but…read moreshe was working the self check out and was the absolute rudest, meanest person I have ever had HELP me in any store and I am 60 yrs old. I am using my husband's yelp but my name is Jackie. I work in customer service. I am a waitress. So I know how to extend kindness to customers. She didn't have her name tag on, go figure, so it forces me to write a description. I have to do this because she represents Target and I have to come to the conclusion that she doesn't care about her job. But she was a young black woman with long braids with pink decorations in them and stickers on her face. She was very mean and the most unprofessional person I ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with. I am writing this review for hoping tht other people do not hesitate to write one of their own if they have contact with this racist, mean unprofessional person. I will also be going in there tomorrow to discuss my unfortunate meeting and visit to this store. This kind of conduct has to be arrested at some point. The way our country was over half a century ago shouldn't have anything to do with how human beings treat each other now. You never know what someone's background and culture consists of. But I have to believe she treats everyone like this or I suffer in thought. Good day.

When I first stopped here a few months back, the deals were great. They had a certain price for…read moremost things on a certain day of the week. For example, Monday was $4 in the bin section. I shopped several times and got some great bargains, but today I saw some things that were priced crazy. Before they had shipments with Target Store products, today I saw some Costco products. I shop at Costco and know some prices. I saw Glad Take Away containers that cost around $8, they were marked $16 here (plus, they looked opened and missing some). There appeared to be a lot of returned items, there were tumblers that had coffee stains inside them! Oh, I forgot to mention that the day/$ amount system is no longer in effect. They had some nice items today, Samsonite luggage, Not sure of the price, but I think over $100. They also write large prices on boxes in marker, I even saw fabric oven mitts that had the price on the fabric, also cooking pots and pans with the marker price on them. Beauty products that looked to be used and returned to a store and they are reselling them. Be careful what you're buying, as there are no returns. I would have given this store a 4 or 5 star review, but 3 stars today after seeing what I saw today. I did get some Costco clothes for $6 ea, so that was decent.
