It's not what it used to be. This was once a great store. Now it's simply ok. The deals on cologne and men's grooming are impressive. Yet when it comes to our clothing, where to begin? This is a high volume store. Am certain entitled customers throw clothes around to represent a hurricane. I actually feel sorry for the employees, as there aren't enough of them to keep up in my opinion. The lines at the registers alone is shocking. There is a good amount of home decorations for young families. This could decrease Christmas costs a bit. For those into savings, this might be a proper location for you. As for what I looked for, not much in XL sweaters or sweatshirts. If you're tall there are other places. Then again getting in and out of the parking lot is a headache.

9/25/21 Time for another new purse?...I wonder if it would be easier...nevermind. if she likes it, that is what matters. We are here at TJ Maxx killing time, having fun and seeing what is on sale. Our vacation is still going on even if we are not traveling to distant locations. The atmosphere here is pleasant and has many people doing what we are doing. Most people are still wearing masks, but everyone appears to be in high spirits. The place seems more organized than I was expecting. The men's jewelry has some bulky jewelry, but I did recognize a blue ring I have seen online and Kay Jewelers. Here it cost $19.99. I am not intrested, but it is nice to know it is cheaper here. Many things will be gone after a few months with new stuff coming in. I think I have enough stuff, but I am still having fun here.

I could not find anything I wanted to purchase unfortunately. They have many good deals. There are many things at their clearance spots. But Home Goods on a same street has better prices for kitchen stuff. It's not crowded at all. Staffs are nice. Parking lot is right in from of the store.

The young woman at the front entrance was very kind and asked another associate to help me. Unfortunately, the second associate wasn't nearly as friendly or welcoming. I was interested in the Diptyque candles because I wanted to purchase one for my sister, but after smelling them, I didn't think they were as impressive as the Diptyque perfumes I already own. I was actually glad I didn't do a blind buy. The associate then directed me to the Byredo fragrance counter. I wanted a Byredo candle, but I wasn't looking to spend $95 on one. While browsing online, I noticed there was a smaller size available, but the associate never mentioned that option. The candle selection in the store was also very limited and seemed to be low in stock. When I told him I'd just order online, his attitude became noticeably dismissive once he realized I wasn't purchasing the $95 candle. He did offer to place an online order for store pickup, but by that point I no longer felt comfortable purchasing through him. Between his attitude and my earlier interaction with the second associate, I simply didn't feel valued as a customer. I then went up to the third floor, where the experience unfortunately didn't improve. Although several sales associates walked past me, no one greeted me or offered assistance. I finally stopped one associate and asked if the candles on display were the only ones available. She replied that she was on her break and could find someone else to help. I asked if she could simply answer my question, and she responded, "I don't know." At that point, I was extremely frustrated. Thankfully, my experience completely turned around when I reached the customer service register. The two gentlemen working there were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I'll admit I probably came across as frustrated, but that was only because of the multiple negative interactions I'd already experienced. They noticed I was on a scooter wearing a walking boot and treated me with genuine care and respect. One of the associates was Micah S., and he and his coworker provided the level of customer service I had hoped to receive throughout the store. They listened, understood my concerns, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. They truly deserve recognition--and if anyone has earned a bonus or a raise, it's those two gentlemen.

However, I came here looking for a dress for my mom for my wedding and she tried on dresses anyway because we were there and had an appointment. we worked with Annick and I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend working with her. I showed her other dresses we had ordered for my mom from other places to get an idea of what we were looking at and she insulted the dresses. I was more than polite and open to options even though i did not like anything up until this point but it was so unacceptable how she spoke to me. I nicely expressed over and over that I did not like options she was and it was as if she could not accept that my style is not the same as hers. Insulting what I had chosen from other places was over the line.

Going there saved me a great deal of time and made the shopping experience fun and relaxing. I visited Crystal Boutique, traveling from my home a 2-hour flight away. I am a hard-to-fit petite person and was searching for a special-occasion outfit and clothes for an overseas trip. I really hit the jackpot. Joel and Annick are treasures--warm, welcoming and kind. They found many things for me to try on and stayed with me every moment during my visit, showing me a variety of styles with different price points to consider. The other friendly staff, including Christie, also had insightful and helpful ideas. I found everything I had hoped to purchase and more and returned home thrilled with all that I bought.

Owner is a truly unpleasant person but somehow manages to hire well - most of the staff are friendly, just hope to avoid her. I have literally bought something here one day and changed my mind, brought it back to rescinding that week and been told it didn't meet their standards - weird bc I just bought it from you and haven't worn it. No rhyme or reason to what they accept or reject, and owner is extremely snooty when going through your items, rejecting things for imagined imperfections. She also 100% treats people differently based on their appearance - if I come in after work and am dressed up, she is more likely to take my items. If I come in clean and stylish workout clothes instead, my items get rejected. Definitely preferences things like lilly pulitzer and tory burch so if that's your style, maybe you'll be happy. I personally don't appreciate being made to feel as if i've stolen items off the back of a truck and talked down to.

So many consignment stores are wildly overpriced, but this one hits the perfect sweet spot between quality and affordability. It's also never overcrowded with merchandise, which makes shopping actually enjoyable so no digging through overstuffed racks or wasting hours trying to find one good item. The manager does an amazing job keeping inventory fresh, too. I stop in about once a week and always find something new. My most recent finds were a madewell beanie and north face parka. My style leans trendy rather than purely name-brand, but i love when I score Frame jeans for around $50, Veronica Beard dresses for about the same, or a like-new Lululemon Scuba hoodie for around $40. At most other consignment shops, those pieces would easily be well over $100. As a consigner, I really appreciate how fair and knowledgeable they are. At the end of the day, we only get paid when items actually sell--and they truly know what sells. If they pass on something, I don't take it personally. I'd rather donate it than have it sit. Using the Frame jeans example, if they sell for $50, I make $25. Could I maybe sell for more on eBay? Sure, but that hassle isn't for me, and the convenience here is absolutely worth it. One important note for new consigners: please review the website before bringing items in. It clearly explains what they accept and how to prepare items, and the process is insanely efficient as I'm usually in and out in under 10 minutes. There's even a helpful video that walks you through everything. It's frustrating (and honestly awkward) when people come in unprepared it slows things down for everyone. I love this shop, and I truly think you will, too! Whether you're looking to shop, consign, or both, this is hands-down one of the best consignment stores in the Arlington area.

They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually.
