There's rarely anyone working in this department, and the ones that you seen, hide in the stock room, no urgency to help or flat out tell you, something is out of stock without checking the stockroom or their computer etc. Checking out is a burden: lines remind me of the MVA and the cashiers aren't that friendly unless they are trying to pester you in signingup for their store credit card that has a high interest rate.. Unless Im in a hurry, Ill stick to Bowie location. They closed off the entrance near the shoe department, another bummer.

It's a little bit smaller than some of the other Marshalls stores I've been to, but I think it was laid out well. I wish they had more shoes in my size though. They had a pretty decent selection of shoes but nothing that I could wear. Back to my luggage... It was the first thing I noticed when I walked in the store. They had a rather impressive collection of suitcases available in a wide variety of styles.... Something to suit a broad variety of tastes. I spent an obscenely long time deciding between two equally gorgeous red luggage sets before finally deciding on the one that I bought. The suitcases appear to be of good quality in addition to looking absolutely stunning! They were also a really great price. I think the 29-in 8 wheel spinner suitcase was $79.99, while the smaller 25-in 8 wheel spinner suitcase was $69.99. Unfortunately, I was short on time so I didn't have the chance to spend as much time in the store as I would have liked. I did notice that the bath & body section had lots of seasonal pumpkin and autumnal themed products. And of course, the store was chock-full of Halloween displays and decorations. While ringing up my purchase, the cashier asked about my upcoming vacation and offered some great recommendations for some of the places that plan to visit. As I was leaving, another one of the managers stopped to compliment me on my choice of luggage and engage me in a brief but enjoyable chat. As much as I appreciate an efficient transactional experience, I appreciate a engaging and personable experience that much more. We saw I few items but didn't want to wait so we went to Marshall's nearby. That line was long too but they had much more registers open. Anyhow, back to Ross -- I returned at 7 am on Christmas Eve and was able to purchase the items we saw the night before. The person on the register- Teresa was friendly and kind. No waiting at 7:14 am!
